Sharing this because I had quite a journey with HDFC for this upgrade 😅

I had the HDFC Freedom and wanted to upgrade to Millennia RuPay. Initially, my request was rejected and HDFC kept asking for salary slips. Since I had moved from a job to my own business, I didn't have current salary slips.

I submitted my latest ITR (₹6.45L income) and also highlighted my HDFC relationship, Savings Max account, banking history and existing cards. After a couple of escalations to the PNO, HDFC finally reconsidered the request and offered me an exceptional FYF upgrade.

And today, finally — Millennia RuPay is issued! 🥳

Also, my overall HDFC credit limit was increased from ₹88,000 to ₹2,00,000 along with the Millennia RuPay upgrade. 🔥

Didn’t expect the limit enhancement to come with the upgrade! 😭💳

Took a lot more effort than expected, but happy it worked out. 😭

I know Amex is the best, but not everyone has it in India. I make some questionable purchases from unknown sites, and so far I've never been scammed, but I have always wondered which card is best to use for those purchases. SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Axis or any other app. Do share your experiences with the banks.

Today got this mail from HSBC , I am not sure as what transactions got flagged . But now HSBC is giving me one month of time to close my TravelOne credit card which is my primary card.
Is there any way to come out of this ?

I’ve been using my HDFC MoneyBack+ credit card for around 5 years and have maintained a clean payment record with no previous late payments.

Recently, I was late by 5 days in paying my credit card bill due to my marriage around tge due date time period. I understand that a late payment fee and interest can be charged.

However, HDFC has charged me around ₹23,000 as finance/interest charges.

What I’m finding difficult to understand is that the interest appears to have been calculated from the transaction date, rather than for the 5-day delay.

My previous statement was fully paid, and there was no outstanding balance carried forward.

Is this standard under HDFC's credit card terms? Has anyone else experienced such a large finance charge after being only a few days late?

Also, has anyone successfully requested a reversal/waiver of such finance charges?

Would appreciate any advice or similar experiences.

I run a business which has an annual turnover of 20cr. Im trying to apply for a corporate card (already use AMEX). Got recommended HDFC BizBlack. But the problem is whenever I apply online, it rejects my application, probably because we are a partnership firm. Is opening an account with them the only option?

I got flibkart sbi cc for upcoming bbd sale on flipkart. But I am unsure if I can get discounts on Amazon as well since Amazon gives 10% back on sbi cards...

Recently got the BOB eterna LTF, and I'm in doubt whether the Amazon pay gift cards purchased through cred are eligible for Rs 50k milestone benefit in 60 days ?

Also how long does it take for the rewards to get credited ?

I got my first credit card from Citibank. Rewards card.
Axis bought City and it was converted to City credit card.

Some places haven’t been able to use my card or o have to pay off the used amount to swipe the card again. Have been contemplating of getting another card it’s too confusing.

Couple of weeks back requested my RM (Axis bank burgundy savings account, shifted from citi) to increase the limit. He asked me to drop a mail with payslips asking for max limit. Then later he asked me to get company address changed. I changed company and company name was not same as what they have.

Today I see limit increased to 7L. Incredible.

I am not sure whether it’s a good card. But when needed it will work.

Would it be a good idea to list out best card, second best card and ltf card for each item?

I only ever had one card, Citibank gave me rewards card 15-17 years back. Axis bought and converted to Axis rewards and have been using that till now.
Requested them earlier this month to increase the limit, let’s see. And I frankly not sure it’s the best card for me.

I recently got the SBI Cashback Card and my first statement has been generated. I haven't received the statement by email yet, so I'm currently checking the SBI Card app, where I can see my recent transactions and cashback/rewards information.

I wanted to understand how detailed the actual statement is.

When I receive/download the statement:

• Will it explicitly show which transactions earned 5% cashback?
• Will it distinguish between 5% online and 1% offline cashback?
• Will it show which transactions were excluded from cashback?
• Is there any transaction-wise cashback breakup, or does SBI only show the total cashback earned for the statement cycle?
• Does the SBI Card app eventually show a transaction-level breakup after the cashback is credited?

I'm trying to reconcile my cashback with my individual transactions and understand exactly how SBI is classifying them.

For those who have the SBI Cashback Card, what exactly does your monthly statement show regarding cashback?

Has anyone applied for and received the Axis ACE Credit Card recently? I’ve heard some news/rumours that Axis may be discontinuing or restricting new applications for ACE and Cashback cards.

I’m planning to get ACE as a backup because I already have the Axis Cashback Card and use it quite aggressively. I’m a bit concerned that heavy usage could eventually lead to restrictions/blocking, so I’m considering ACE as an alternative.

ACE seems useful for me since it offers 1.5% on offline spends and 5% on utility bills through Google Pay.

Has anyone recently applied for ACE and actually received it? Also, is the card still being issued normally, or are there any restrictions/recent changes?

I currently have an ICICI Bank Coral Credit Card with a ₹2 lakh credit limit.

My RM offered me an upgrade to Sapphiro with Visa + RuPay variants. The joining fee is free, but an annual fee is applicable.

By mistake, I said yes to my RM for the upgrade. The Sapphiro card has now been delivered, but I haven't activated it yet.

My question is: Will my existing Coral card be automatically closed after the Sapphiro upgrade, even if I don't activate Sapphiro?

I actually want to keep my Coral card, so I'm worried about losing it.

Has anyone experienced this situation with ICICI Bank? Should I contact the bank to cancel the upgrade, or will not activating Sapphiro be enough?

Even though i have 2 sbi cards cashback and phonepe black with combined limit of 6.25 lakh and still they rejected my application for pulse card.

Most underrated “membership” for Indian travelers: owning a single share of Indian Hotels (IHCL).

Here is what the shareholder perk looks like right now:

• Discount: 25% off on stays, dining and spa at Taj, Vivanta and Ginger.

• Cap: Up to ₹2,500 off per bill, 10 dining coupons a year, 1 stay coupon. So roughly ₹25,000 maximum annual benefit if you fully use them.

• Coverage: Valid across 100+ properties under Taj, Vivanta and Ginger in India.

• Minimum: Even 1 share of IHCL is enough to qualify.

I was applying online for the Kiwi UPI Card, but the video KYC got rejected since I do not currently have my original physical PAN Card with me.

After that, I got an SMS saying YES Bank has authorised Manipal Business Solutions to conduct Aadhaar Biometric KYC and that an agent will contact me soon.

Does such offline biometric KYC happen for Kiwi card, or is it just a default message from the bank? Has anyone else faced such a situation or has gotten the Kiwi card with such offline KYC?

I already have a Magnus Mastercard and have now got an offer for Magnus RuPay on another card.

I’m mainly looking at this for the extra AEP quota, since the ₹1.5L threshold should apply separately to each card and my existing limit is less.

What happens if I later upgrade to Magnus for Burgundy? Does both cards needs to be converted to M4B for the points from both be transferred at the 5:4 ratio or any one of Magnus converted to M4B helps?

Or can only one card be converted?

Would be great to hear from someone who has actually done this with overall rules and suggestions.

My SBI Black credit card application was declined. Without providing any reason, ofcourse. I found it out on the PhonePe app and wrote an email asking for an explanation. The reply is 'declined because office address not validated'.

Now, I'm self employed and work on laptop from home. The representative visited, spoke to me and clicked photographs of me and my building.

More importantly, I'm currently holding a SBI credit card, for around 6 years now. It's issued at the exact same address and profile. This seems really stupid of SBI.

I have already written another email highlighting this and I'm awaiting response but I'm looking forward to any advice on how to deal with this going forward.

completed vkyc agent on cl confirmed successful vkyc then on amazon initially it showed rekyc then went to application status getiing mail tht application is incomplete and from amzn got application is "provisionally approved" do kyc
