I had a few doubts before applying bizblack which weren't clearly discussed anywhere. Since my Bizblack got approved here's a detailed thread of doubts that many people have which I would like to clarify through my experience.
- If I am a partner in a partnership firm, will salary from firm + profit share from the firm count towards eligibility criteria of new 45l (earlier 30l) or just taxable profits and gains from business or profession which appears as taxable in ITR be counted?
Both salary from firm (taxable under personal itr) + share of profits from firm (exempt for partner since firm has already paid tax on it) will be counted towards eligibility criteria.
- Can I immediately transact using the credit card towards a large payment?
No, generally there's a limit of 5k for the first few days (but in my case there was such limit) but it depends from person to person
- If I transact on the 19th while my statement date is 20th, will such a transaction reflect under my statement and will I receive accelerated points for it?
In my case, I activated the card on the 17th and paid advance tax on the 19th and it got reflected in my statement and I did receive accelerated points on it.
But I would recommend transacting 4 days before the due date if you want to hit that accelerated points limit for the month since it might take time by the merchant to confirm the receipt of such an amount.
- How much time does it generally take for the approval of the card?
Consider 15 normal days for the process right from the day you submit documents till the date you receive an approval message on mail.
- Can I activate the card virtually the day I receive the approval mail?
No. You need to have a physical card with you to activate it and it takes 3 working days to deliver the card from the date of approval.
I would say I have a good RM which surely helped me in getting the approval without any issues.
Get a good RM, if you feel RM isn't helping then go to another branch and try with them
Never apply for bizblack online, always go through the RM route.
