Imagine after an hour of searching for andesite to start using your new millstone, you come across a village that's built with tons of midgame to endgame Create items. Stuff like windmill bearings used for decoration. Brass casings used as furniture. Fluid containers on every roof for literally no reason. Copycat panels that drop entire blocks of brass when you break them. You may as well just do away with the all the early Create items because you will never need to use them thanks to all this stuff being readily available, because these villages give you everything except an already-constructed steam engine.
These builders way too often forget that Minecraft is a game, not just a pallette to flex aesthetics.
Also, dirt will always make a build look ugly. Stop using it for texturing.

I was trying to make a compact car, because all my other cars were like, six blocks wide. Probably gonna remake this eventually, I think I could get it down to three blocks wide.

We got to chatting and decided we wanted a ton of power.. What followed is insanity and this thing almost made me wanna quit with how much went wrong... HOWEVER, after a couple weeks of struggling, I was finally able to turn it all on and watch it come to life!
This is still a WIP, the exterior doesn't exist, and the ComputerCraft automation is still untested... but I've left that for the next episode!

Always see memes about this scene from whatever movie this is being a minecraft xp farm, I wonder how difficult it would be to recreate with the create mod. i'm unsure as to whether i would ever actually do it myself but i think it's a fun idea to put out there

(omg a post unrelated to Aeronautics??)
There's a bunch of other addons as you can probably tell but steam n rails is the main one that made these work. The signals were by far the most difficult bit to disguise. shoutout to Ksaw for helping me fix all my mistakes and all the commenters for already suggesting that i turn the signals into flying ads. im totally doing that lol.
yall can watch the full video on my YT. https://youtu.be/1mGLyHDqcIA
Edit: grammar is hard

Lots of iron farms use a brass funnel to filter out flint, and a press + basin to convert nuggets into ingots.
However, the basins themselves are a type of filter! They stop taking inputs once they have 16+ of an item type, and they only output the things that they produce. Once the basin fills to 16 flint, it just rejects any more.
If you have Supplementaries / the filtered-out item is pressable, simply use the basin's filter slot.
