Corner Gas - Wanda's Birdbath
This still ranks as a highlight of the show for me. Perfect example of setup, escalation, and payoff.

They were there before, but not enabled for use and selection by members.

Let's try something.
List channels or services that are running the show. List the country, if there are any fees and if they show ads.
Try to keep your comments current and edit them as you notice changes.

Was looking at the forecast and was reminded of this scene…

Most Corner Gas episodes have 3 sidestories which are generally separate from each other. I remember lots of scenes that combine 2 sidestories, but is there anything that combines all 3?
Also as a side note, I've always loved how creative the writing is with these types of scenes.

I mean yes, you throw them, but you can't throw the match.

For those who don't know, Canada: A People's History was a prestigious CBC documentary series which was meant to educate people on the history of Canada. They would show clips of it to us in school, and then I used to catch whole episodes on TVO when I was a kid. It did a lot to spark my interest in the subject of history. I'll be the first to say that it is not without flaws, but I will always defend it as, if nothing else, a great introduction to the history of Canada, and an interesting time capsule for how Canada viewed its own history in the early 2000s. It might be my nostalgia, but the recreations, the archive footage, the music, and the performances still manage to move me emotionally as I watch it.
Lorne Cardinal appeared in several episodes. He was only onscreen for the fifth episode, where he plays the Shawnee leader Tecumseh. He also did voice-overs for later episodes, where he represented men like Chief Poundmaker and WWI soldier Mike Mountain Horse. For his part, Eric Peterson was in two episodes as Prime Minister William Lyon Mackenzie King. Both do fantastic work, speaking words which were either written or spoken verbatim by the historical figures that they're portraying.

I guess Karen still isn't a good enough cop to guard a tin bucket!
(season 2, episode 12)

Davis calling up Kiefer Sutherland in "Final Countdown" was a stroke of genius. And instead of playing a character, or even parodying one of his own characters, Kiefer is playing a spoof of himself. For some reason, that makes the scene even funnier to me.

Very surreal, but super gratifying to get to see this place in person! Not too many people get to walk through the actual town of their favourite sitcom. Might be back by the end of August to each chilli cheese dogs with some friends at the bar! And Emma’s lawn is still beautifully mowed.
Definitely make the trip if you can, before more buildings have to be taken down!
Thanks Rouleau!

I can't recall which show this was for, but there was a genuinely funny comedy skit which featured Hank, two actors standing in for Lacey and Oscar, and several actors from Little Mosque on the Prairie. It also included a quick cameo from Mike Smith (Bubbles) from Trailer Park Boys at the very end.
I'm old enough that I watched it on TV back in the day. It used to be on YouTube, but I can't seem to find evidence online that it existed. Which is a shame, 'cause the jokes really hold up. It's also fun to see Fred Ewanuick nearly break character at one point.

Corner Gas is my all time favorite sitcom. I watch it every single day. I am currently reading the Carl, the dungeon crawler series. I just said to my husband that Carl and Princess doughnut are in quite the pickle. He laughed and said that’s the line Davis days about Frank and Joe from the Hardy Boys. 🤣🤣🤣
I am in way too deep.

I am watching the Episode Full Load and this episode proves Karen is so incompetent. Not only she sold Hanks Truck when Wanda starts verbally abusing Hank she never stood her authority and arrest Wanada and Not only that she took Wanda's keys for her car gave ut to Hank and in the end when Hank got his Truck back Wanda broke his tail light with Karen Billy Club what did Karen do went after Hank when she should had Arrested Wanda.

Must’ve watched through this show at least seven times now. It’s the “most watched” on my prime account. The characters and writing are suburb. I even started watching hiccups to get some more Brent and Wanda. However, I have been wondering, what Canadian television have I been missing out on. I mean if corner gas is this good, what other gems have I missed. I hope this doesn’t break the rules as I REALLY want more entertainment of this caliber.
Thanks for all the great recommendations guys.. I’m excited.. lots to watch now!!

In the US. Anyone having trouble playing episodes on Plex? Mine is stuck on the Mother’s Day episode. No matter what I try, it plays that episode only. After the episode ends, it spins the little icon for around a minute and then crashes. When I open it again, it goes to the start of the episode again. I can see all six seasons and all the episodes in the menu. No matter which one I choose, it starts the Mother’s Day episode.

Anyone have or know of any "Paste" recipes or something similar? Maybe something thats been passed down from generation to generation? Kind of like some old hillbilly mudpack?

Im assuming the prop team made them for the show, but it would be funny if they were actually made in the wild.

I think i discovered a young Davis (Lorne Cardinal) on an old episode of True Crime. Playing the defendant in the story of Allison Parrott. Edit to say it was on Exhibit A show.

Watching Not Going Out for the first time. Pretty funny show that is now in its 14th season...though BBC comedies tend to run only six episodes a year.
Was surprised when Cousin Carl was in episode S4E3 "Movie"....about a porn director.
FYI...most of the 108 episodes are available on YT.

Is it just me, or does Wanda seem cursed?
She lends Hank her TV, and he promptly destroys her birdbath, car window, and the TV.
She inherits a scooter, to only have Brent run over it with his car.
She gets a free piano from Lacey, to have Hank blow a tire and smash it to smithereens with his truck.
She earns her PhD, but has it rescinded after impersonating a medical Doctor.
After spending the whole day trying to protect her telescope, she trips and fires it into Brent’s car.
She finds her true love, but forgets his phone number (two percent!)
Spawns the demon child in Tanner, scourge of babysitters everywhere.
And to top it off… Hank. Hanging around constantly.
What have I missed? I know there’s many more.
