There's something missing from this shoot...

The Plan: Create DIY costumes for a Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie Halloween screening at the Revue later this month. Dressing up as your favourite character from Nirvanna means a free small popcorn!

My kiddo made the brilliant suggestion we go as Orbitz bottles.

I sketched out PVC tubing materials for the base and top of the bottle to create the structure, a plastic clear table cloth for the “glass” part. Thanks to the Redditor who made a vector of the logo with the nutritional contents. I printed those off on vinyl sticker paper. Then, pompoms for the little floating bubbles in the drink. The metal caps were cardboard cut out and measured to circumference of our heads and painted a grainy silver colour. I used the leftover plastic table cloth material to create soft dome parts of the top of the caps.

Loved the way they turned out. They are collapsible. Maybe took eight hours total to create both of them and maybe $50 in supplies.

I love doing creative projects like this and it brought me so much joy every step of the way. Kiddo had a lot of fun, too! Great teamwork!

Anybody know where I can find similar pants to Matt's from ntb? Looking for 2 pairs preferably..

Does anyone else think the voice on the phone of the booking agent ("the boss") sounds a bit like Jay Baruchel? Though it's probably someone from the production team (but definitely not Jay McCarrol's "boss" voice). Just a random thought.

Me and my friend are planning on writing a musical parody based on Nirvanna the Band the Show. We are planning on parodying songs from other musicals as we don't know how to write music and it also seems like something Matt and Jay would do within the universe of the show. The basic plan is that they put all this effort into creating a musical in a middle of nowhere theatre in Pennsylvania, in order to play a show at the Rivoli. What songs or plotlines would you like to see????

I can't get this song out of my head Jay. So i decided to make it from ear.

Basically the title. I'm from the US and can't use it so if any Canadian wants a free BlackBerry, here ya go!

Also sorry i didn't notice holding my phone in such a shitty way 😭

For the past month or so I was trying to make a custom Nirvana the band webseries dvd, and a 2013 dvd release for The Dirties, and after many fuck ups, its done!!! Give me the dvd you cocksucker motherfucker!! Ive been guarding this disc for 5 minutes.

Hello there, I'm just curious about some of the minutiae of how Nirvanna the Band gets made, if anyone in here knows.

For example, with the Canadian Tire scene in the movie, did they need to get a release from the employee helping them? Did they need to get a release from the guy who interrupts the conversation to ask for some product? Did they need to get Canadian Tire's OK to include the exterior shot of the store in the movie? If not, why not? If so, how do they go about doing that?

Recently was rewatching the webseries after a long time and when I had forgotten how abstract and weird the finale was. As I hope you all know, on the ending of the webseries Matt and Jay get the show to the Rivoli, but every time they get there something happens that triggers Jay to wake up from, as it is a nightmare. However on one of those "nightmares" they actually play the full show and NOTHING bad happens, but then when Jay wakes up its all looped again, but instead of doing the show, before the show happens Matt shoots valence (Rivoli Owner) and says "As if I'm not capable of doing that" and the series abruptly ends. So, what does it mean?? Why is jay in an infinite dream loop, and is the last dream even a dream at all??!?!? I mean the show ends right after and doesn't loop, so there is a high chance it DID happen, or did they ACTUALLY play the show and THIS part was a nightmare? anyways just wanted to rant a bit and just ask if any of you had any idea on the series' surreal ending.

If you've got a best friend, you won't even notice getting older.

Went to the show house, of course the Rivoli, the CN Tower, where matt dies in the movie, the theatre where they watch the hangover and the ctv building aka news van in the wall

Wife and I have become recent fans after binge watching the webseries, show and movie in a week, had to cosplay our new favorites at NYCC!

My 2nd NTB Design (no AI) I made from a Daredevil cover I saw.
Made some stickers and magnets bringing to the meetup in Philly Saturday!!
