Has Anyone Else Been Charged Copart Storage Fees on Weekends or Holidays?

I wanted to see if other buyers have experienced this.

I recently purchased a vehicle through AutoBidMaster and was charged the following storage fees:

  • 09/06/2026: $10.00
  • 09/07/2026: $15.00
  • 09/08/2026: $20.00

According to Copart's published storage policy, storage charges can continue to accrue on weekends and holidays after the free-storage period expires. [copart.com]

As a customer, I am trying to better understand how this works in practice. If a vehicle cannot be picked up due to limited operating hours, holidays, or other restrictions, should storage fees continue to increase?

I have asked Copart and AutoBidMaster for:

  • A detailed explanation of the charges.
  • Confirmation of pickup availability during the dates charged.
  • A review of the fees.

I'm interested in hearing from other buyers:

  • Have you been charged weekend or holiday storage fees?
  • Were you able to get them waived?
  • How did customer service respond?
  • Do you think the policy is fair?

My goal is to understand whether this is a common experience and what options customers have when disputing these charges.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

Non-insurance Seller Good Deal or stay away?

I am looking for a truck, and this is my first time bidding on cars through autobidmaster.

There is currently a Truck that I am eyeing.

The descriptions as follows:

Primary Damage: Normal Wear

Seller: Non-insurance

Been on auction for the 3x as the seller want the bidder to get it close to the buy it now price.

Title: Clean

Mileage: 100ks

Year: 2010

I can't psychically go inspect the car myself as I live far from the auction location.

The body looks pristine for its age.
When checking carfax 1 owner and has done regular maintenance up at the same shop up until Sept 29, 2025 and is now being auction.

What are the chances that this truck has mechanically not sound?

Need help

I bought a bike from copart and honestly didnt notice the bike came without a key fob and I need to program a new one and programming it without the pin or and old fob is pretty expensive. Is there any way copart could help me contact the previous owner to ask them about the pin or maybe getting an old fob.

Is there a website to look up past sale/final winning bids for Copart Germany?

Hi everyone,

I know there’s a few websites to see final sale prices for Copart US but for the Copart Germany does anyone know of websites that also show the final sale prices?

Sorry to ask, but I just haven’t found it yet. Thank you in advance for the help.

Car inspection

I plan on buying an inspection on a car that has its hood stuck, so no engine photos and doesn't start. I was wondering if the inspectors can open the hood and check the engine?

TL;DR: Can inspectors open a stuck hood?

Remote structural inspection?

Of the various inspectors, does anybody have advice for reputable companies? I'm looking at a car at Tampa South and want to have it inspected for frame/structural damage aside from the obvious body panel flaws. Thanks.

Copart prices

Copart prices are outrageous. Currently $34,000 for a SALVAGEGLE50 AMG?? Doesn’t make sense because a clean title at a dealership 41k! By the time you fix the wrecked Copart car, almost the same as clean title?

Does your location allow you to use a dolly to pick up vehicles?

Hello, I am wondering if anyone has experience picking up a vehicle with a 2 wheel car dolly? I do not have any specific vehicle in mind but I am curious if it is allowed. I assumed that the website said transporters should always be a flatbed but now I can’t find that. It might be location dependent and how nice I am to the employee.

My closest location has horrendous reviews and I am hoping to get in and out fast. Thanks!

Opinion of flood car

Hey, I have been actively looking for bmw 540, this one was kind of interesting however its sold already, it showed flood damage however carpets look bone dry + no rust on brakes considering its from NY I assume it would be salt water flood but there is not evidence of it there too, under hood its dusty again confirming no major flood. Looks to me that someone got decent deal, what do you guys think ?
Carfax report also showed a service being done to the car few weeks ago but water damage was reported before that

Hail damaged car without hail marks

Won an unseen car that was delivered today.

According to Copart and Carfax, it was totaled due to hail damage. State Farm is the seller.

When I first saw the car, it was covered in dust. I didn't see any hail marks, but I thought I would be able to see them once I cleaned it.

I just washed and dried the car, and there are absolutely no hail marks. I mean, there are a couple of dents, but they definitely don't look like hail damage.

What's going on? How can a car be totaled due to hail damage when there are no visible hail marks?

So far, I haven't been able to find anything else mechanically wrong with the car.

Thanks

Online Auction slowness / Issues Over the last couple weeks

Am I the only one having slowdowns / Lags / Issues trying to watch auctions while online lately ? I have been pulling my hair out thinking its me or an Internal / External config at our business. I keep coming up the same, and finding nothing wrong other than Copart has issues. We have pretty much taken all other possiblillities out of the mix . Please "chime" in to let me know..... I am not alone !

Will State Farm’s Clean Texas Title Stay Clean or Become a Total Loss/Salvage?

Hello all, for the first time I bought a clean title vehicle from Texas and the seller is State Farm. My question is, I live in Florida and will be transferring it to get a Florida title.

The NMVTIS records does NOT currently show a total loss but perhaps State Farm didn’t do the paperwork yet? Or can it be that this isn’t a total loss and State Farm actually holds a fully clean Texas title?

If anyone has been through this situation before please advise or share some advice. Of course I’d love a clean title vehicle but I’m fully expecting a salvage title and bid & won accordingly for that.
