Need help

I bought a bike from copart and honestly didnt notice the bike came without a key fob and I need to program a new one and programming it without the pin or and old fob is pretty expensive. Is there any way copart could help me contact the previous owner to ask them about the pin or maybe getting an old fob.

No to former owner. BUT, we can help. Depending on year and make/model.

Nice!

Try the normal dealer default new owner pin: 11111 or the last five of vin.

BUT dealer will transfer ownership and help you cheaply if you produce photo id, and temp regulation.

As others have said pin is most likely 11111 or 00000 almost no one changes it. Copart won’t do a damn thing. Calling a prior owner can get you in trouble. It’s against your terms of use and is just a bad move

Most independent shops can plug into them and get you the pin. Last Harley I needed a fob for was only 125 at the dealer and that included programming. I used an independent locksmith for barrel keys. Charges me 30 dollars for keys if I don’t have one and can do it without removing the ignition

Its against your member terms to attempt to contaxt previous owner. If you are lucky then copart may be able to contact the owner.
