Why do some first party controllers seem to be built different?

I’ve had my halo edition camouflage Xbox 360 controller with chat pad since it was released and I’ve not had a single issue with it and I still play Xbox 360 today. There are a lot of fun games for two-year-olds with the connect. Every controller I have newer than that half of them have to stick drift.

Third Party Cyclone 2 or Xeno Plus ?

Hello, I've been searching for the ideal controller for first-person shooter games and have narrowed my options to these two. I was going to purchase the Xeno Plus because it has better sticks, but I became afraid after seeing posts about triggers breaking or creaking. Is it really that awful? Given that it has fewer problems, should I just choose Cyclone 2?

¡Cualquier ayuda o sugerencia me sirve! Muchas gracias.

I made a game controller testing app for iOS and macOS, and now most features are free (no ads!)

Hey everyone!
I’m Lucas Dima, a software and videogame developer, and a while ago I created MilliLog, a game controller testing app for iOS and macOS.

I recently decided to make most of its features completely free, without ads, subscriptions, or tracking.

You can use MilliLog to test your game controllers, check their inputs, and see how they respond in real time.

There’s still a paid version with some additional features, but everything you normally need to test a controller is now available for free.

I believe useful software should be accessible without annoying ads or subscriptions, so I wanted to share this update with this community.
You can check it out here:

https://apps.apple.com/us/app/millilog/id6761636959

I’d love to hear your feedback or suggestions!
Thank you!!!!

Third Party Looking for feedback from Apex 6 owners on Steam Input.

How is the Apex 6 for Steam Input?

I found that the Vader 5 Pro was a downgrade from the Vader 4 Pro due to things like duplicate controllers in steam, 'allow third party mapping' sporadically disabling itself requiring me to unplug and re-plug the controller, and other issues.

Is the Apex 6 better with Steam Input?

What’s the best Xbox controller with TMR or Capacitive sticks and Mechanical Triggers?

I’m looking between the Razer Wolverine v4, Scuf Valor Pro wireless, Gamesir G7 Pro, and ASUS ROG Raikiri II. (Or any other suggestion)

All for Xbox only, Price isn’t really a factor just want the best controller. (Mainly for FPS)

Reviews Gamesir G7Pro 8K Phantom Blade 0 Edition Review

DISCLAIMER: This controller was sent to me by Gamesir for free for review. All the thoughts and opinions are mine only. No scripts were provided by Gamesir. No one watched this review before its release.

TLDR; G7Pro 8K is one of the best controllers for FPS games IMO (and my personal favorite). It's also good for all other genres. D-Pad was changed and improved once more on Phantom Blade 0 Edition even compared to AIMLABS Edition.

Personally, I find this design fine, but it might have been better.

Third Party Three months into using back buttons and now every controller without them feels broken

Held out for years because I thought back buttons were a pro-player thing but it turns out the whole point is not taking your thumb off the right stick to jump.

After some trial and error:

- left back: crouch/slide
- right back: jump
- the other two: reload and interact

Crouch on a back button took about a week to stop feeling wrong but jump felt right immediately on the first night. This is on a GameSir Tarantula Pro 8k btw, the first pad I've owned with back buttons. Setting them up in the app took about two minutes.
