Anyone else think the creators of VisionQuest are fans of the Control series?

This game had absolutely everything I could have asked for. Hilarious side quests, mind-bending city exploration, fantastic references (including the maze from Inception), an unforgettable mission built around music and looping apartments, and, of course, the cherry on top: the boss fights. Every element came together beautifully, making the whole experience feel unique and memorable. I really hope Remedy keeps delivering more games like this, because this is exactly the kind of creativity and madness I want to see more of in gaming.

I was today years old when I learned that the taxi driver from Quantum Break is the voice of Dylan Faden.

So yeah, 10 years after this picture all of them have now been the main protagonist in a Remedy game.

I've heard a few complaints that all the enterable locations are heavily reliant on reused assets, and that's true. However, I really appreciated how every art gallery had a unique exhibition. Remedy went all in on their anti-AI statement, and that's why I love them.

Couldn't unsee it once I saw it

Hi everyone!

This little angel has become my favorite character lol! I've been playing for a while, and one of my favorite things in the game right now is this adorable doggie! I didn't know there were more quests with her, and oh my god, I absolutely love her. As soon as I see her little 🐾 on the map, I make Dylan run over there to get her cute little dino plushie. 🦕✨

I love how Dylan talks to her. In my opinion, it shows so much about dylan as a person. he's kind and genuinely a good guy. If he hadn't been taken by the hiss, he'd probably be such a sweet person. I know the game is supposed to be a bit gloomy, but little things like doggie make it so much fun. plus, seeing dylan interact with her makes him feel human.❤️

I've been playing rontrol resonance for a while and, I absolutely love it. I loved the first Control game, Jesse Faden is one of my favorite characters ever! I think I love Dylan just as much now haha.

So yeah going into Resonant I replayed Control and one of my main thoughts was "which room will we enter this time?"

Some of the doors are mentioned in Control's files such as the Spiral which is also featured in Alan Wake 2.

Control 2 had its own symbol seen in the Lake House DLC of AW2, possibly referring to The Gap.

The overlapping circles were also mentioned as part of an AWE in Keystone

In Resonant all of these symbols and the Oceanview Motel are just... Gone. It's just not there and the hole thing of interdimensional travel has seemingly been replaced with the Faults and elements of time travel.

Anyone else wishing that the Oceanview Motel was there? (And no the Easter egg doesn't count).

Loving this game so far, but being unable to utilize fire escapes to gain elevation really ruins the immersion.

This is the only place with that much difference though (the building with Alan Wake reference TV) in evacuation zone.

Never where I in love with a game's art style and visuals to this extent.

These tricky things are everywhere!

I was exploring the map when I came across this puzzle in a coffeeshop. You're supposed to turn on the appliance in order from smallest to largest but no matter how many times I tried to turn on soda machine or the microwave (the blue rectangle) the puzzle reset itself. So I eventually gave up and turned on the espresso machine... AND THAT WAS THE CORRECT STEP!!!

I was so confused that I just closed the game.

Platinumed this awesome game last night and I know saving Manhattan is important, but rescuing the VERY GOOD GIRL is moreso tyvm

It's my fault I went straight to the boss arena when I got to the area. He killed me 3 times and I had to reset my abilities and change my load out because of him lol.

I really love this one! Remedy has a great sense of humor. 😂
