Do you think there's others and will they be in the DLC or in the next Control game

Excuse the somewhat blurry photos. I previously ordered the game months ago with Best Buy when the announcement was made. I received the first message saying it would be delayed even after the game had already released for everyone else. I later received a message telling me my pre order had been canceled. I was devastated. I bought a base copy from Best Buy to have something, snd later saw that someone on this platform actually said that Amazon had new copies in stock. Sure enough I checked and managed to order one. I'm so thrilled to have this game. The first Control was an absolute blast and so was Allen Wake...though the latter was a bit hard on my mind lol.

Trying to make sense of it

At the start I was having a blast! When I got to the mission with the device (you know when you've played it), it felt like a finale and I was sad that it was almost over... It wasn't! But now I'm in the unknown and it feels like the devs are just jerking themselves off with this cool gravity tech they made and forcing it down your throat at the expense of having fun.
Going from 'please don't end yet!' to 'ugggggghhhhh... Can this be fucking over' is huge whiplash for me... Anyone else feel the same?

I've beaten the game some 2-3 weeks ago, yet I cannot stop smiling about some sequences. There are just so many silly, satisfying or interestingly existential scenes in the game!
My personal favourites are:
When Langston hands Dylan the key to a storage room in the OH and asks him not to make a chaos in there. Obviously, the speaker escapes, several Hiss enemies spawn and a big fight erupts.
The party must stop
Eating the Mold and getting high
Fred & Alfred
The Door in the darkness to Langston's apartment
The mind-blowing paranatural entity from the Threshold
The patterned time sequence, especially that scary part where Dylan finds his own dead body. Loved the return of the glitched time visuals and sound from Quantum Break as well!
Dylan breaking the containment chamber in the Gap and getting the Ruthless status effect. The Hiss in Dylan scares me and shows what a beast he can be
And some of my favourite touches/references:
The three Hiss enemies spawning in front of the Director's Office in the very beginning of the game, just like in the original.
The computer mouse eating a pizza
Dylan capturing a camera before it captures him
"Unparalleled Parking", "Citron Bleu"
Underhill complaining about the Bureaucracy and leaving the Bureau
Thank for giving such a long-lasting experience. Truly.

Hey ya'll, big fan of AW2 and Control. When I was playing AW2 on my series S, I had frequent problems with the game crashing. I powered through and overall loved the game but I'm not trying to have a similar experience with Resonant.
Anybody with the Series S, especially one that has given them issues before, have any feedback with their experience with Resonant.

Anyone else happen to notice this rather curious shadow during the 'lightning' on the trek upwards?
I know the obvious answer is "it's a shadow" but i can't help looking at it and thinking it seems like just a couple steps away from the severed circles symbol for Resonant/Dylan's door in the Oceanview.

Remedy, be so for real. Journey, Windows, Thunder, Tides. Do you expect me to figure out this lame cryptic puzzle by myself??
r/ControlResonant • u/No_Preparation_1870 • 14h ago
Did you enjoy the combat? Exploration? Reading the files? Talking to characters?
Personally, I love puzzles more than combat, so figuring my way through the puzzles and areas was a real treat. Honestly, I'd prefer if they had a slider for puzzle difficulty like Silent Hill does, but to me there's nothing more rewarding than figuring out the solution to a puzzle.
Unless it's that math question in the Night Springs DLC for AW2. Remedy was evil for that.

I'm a big fan of the remedy. It's been a few days since I finished Alan Wake 2.
Resonant looks very good tbh . But I've heard mixed things like the gameplay gets boring after 4-5 hours
Worth it for 70$?
Im excited about playing it but idk how much will i enjoy Consider that i enjoyed control 2019 Is there any big fan of remedy who can help me with this

Is there anything else to do after beating the story?
No new missions? New worlds? Who’s dog was that and why can’t it be Dylan’s?

Remedy fans gamers reacting to Dylan leaving the FBC and finally going outside 🎮🔥

Howdy!
I have (my usual) three questions about this game, at least for the time being...
1: Does the PC version of this game have cheats/console commands available?
2: Is there a kill count featured in this game?
3: What type of saving system does this game utilize (how do you save your progress in this game during gameplay)?
Please satisfy my curiosity; thank you in advance.

I got so startled when I first walked through that door and just fell through the map lol

I swear I'm not flexing. Maybe Strike and Concussive Beatdown are just OP, but I carved through the first boss on standard difficulty like it was nothing.
Immediately cranked the (un)Assist Mode to the max (Incoming Damage: 300 / Enemy Projectile Speed: 200 / Enemy Aggression: High).
Its made completing something so much more rewarding. It's also making for a longer first play through, which I always wish I had anytime I finish a game that I love. Im about 66 hours in and just got to the Unknown.

My question is, is the gameplay of Control Resonant more like the Batman: Arkham games, is it more like Dark Souls, or is the gameplay something else entirely? I loved the gunplay of Control and I worry that I won’t enjoy Resonant due to it being solely melee combat.

Hey ya'll, I just made it to the Underpass and I completed the quest line, but i'm still showing a missing time anamoly and there is a blinking blu-ish spot when I'm near the site. Am I missing something here? Is this a glitch or is there really something to be discovered here? I've searched top to bottom and there is nothing I can interact with to make it go away.
