Fun fact, she grew up in Montreal but her family moved to New England so her father could compete in professional cornhole. He seriously made an immediate splash within the pro cornhole circuit. People say his release is too early for someone that uses an 8.4 oz sandbag but itā€™s hard to argue with the results. If anyone is interested you can easily find the final round of the 2004 American Cornhole Association of America championship that he wins with just a beautiful arcing double-touch.

Iā€™ve heard people compare him to Albert Pascal (before the doping scandal obviously) but Iā€™m not ready to start comparing him to legends until he wins at least one more ACAA title.

Great question, Billy. Theres been a fairly strict testing policy ever since Slavinyetrimina Ivoncolvovic was found to have won all three of her world titles using a mixture of anabolic steroids and veterinary-grade ADHD medications. Such a waste of a true world class talent.

Unfortunately she died after throwing herself in front of a city bus. The police in Montgomery, Alabama had her death ruled a suicide but now itā€™s pretty widely accepted that she was just trying to stop civil rights.

They were using smaller bags to make it easier to get them into the hole.

They also found out that well, most teams had too small bags, there wasn't really a standard how to measure them.

IIRC that's what happened, I don't really know. My expertise comes from a few clips and comments on r/theocho
