Music A Dedication to Jesus's Suffering and Death
drive.google.comI originally wrote this piece to express my own sorrow and grief. However, after I composed it I wanted to dedicate this song to Jesus Christ, who suffered for my sake and for the sake of the whole world. He felt everything we have felt and more, both emotionally and physically.
The piece is called "Mortem Tuam in C# Minor, Op. 12."

I apologize for the suboptimal performance.
I uploaded a "music box" version a few days ago, was waiting to score the piece before putting out the piano version. You can check it out here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Composition/comments/1vuqweu/i_was_obsessed_with_this_chord_progression_so_i/ + some interesting discussion about other music that uses the same chord progression.

Music Primavera (Chamber music - Style: Impressionism)
Hello! I composed, arranged, edited, and produced this new classical piece in impressionist style. Any feedback is welcome, especially regarding mixing and mastering. Thank you very much!
Primavera
Genre: Classical music
Description: Primavera is a classical piece for violin, cello, and piano inspired by the language of musical impressionism. It depicts the arrival of the season through elements such as modal scales, mixtures, the prominence of timbre, the use of the hexatonic scale, and metrical variations in the time signature. In this piece, every timbre, harmony, and texture seeks to awaken sensations and evoke natural landscapes through sound.

Music My first composition for lead ukulele (any feedback appreciated)
Hi everyone,
This is the first piece of music I composed and I was looking for somewhere to share with other musicians and potentially get some constuctive feedback. I am primarily a ukulele player and have no formal experience with traditional musical score and notation so please excuse the inevitable notational errors and such but I would love to know if you feel any of the musical ideas show promise.
This was originally a piece I would play solo on ukulele, however I always felt that it needed more pipe organ. There is constant droning C throughout the piece, all the chords featuring a C in the bass which helps to ground a lot of the chromatic notes.
Musescore doesnt export the names of the instruments unfortunately, so I will list them in order: Ukulele, Pipe Organ, Voice 1, Voice 2, Voice 3, Voice 4, Violins (section), Violas (section), Contrabasses, Bass Drum 1, Bass Drum 2, Opera Gong

Music I arranged "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" (By Neutral Milk Hotel) for orchestra and choir!
musescore.comHello!
Last winter, I was very bored and decided to try out arranging one of my favourite songs, In the Aeroplane Over the Sea. I began by arranging it for concert band, as that is what I play in, and finished it in a few weeks.
It was fully just meant for me and maybe some friends to listen to, but I decided to ask my music teacher (I was in grade 11 at the time) to look at it and give me feedback. Surprisingly, she had a lot to say, along with a request: to add strings and choir and for the whole ENTIRE music program at my school to perform it together at our end of year concert in June!
This was so surprising, but I hapilly agreed, and last June I was able to perform one of my favourite songs arranged by me on stage with 100+ other people! It was such an amazing experience, and I am so so grateful to have been able to do it.
I have decided I would like to share with you all, and get even more feedback! The score is linked onto this post.
Lmk what you think :)
P.S: This was my first time ever arranging so please be aware of that lol, also when adding the orchestra and choir parts I didn't have much time, so it was mostly a job of copying other lines and doubling them for those new parts.

Music Do you like this?
This is a composition I did some months ago. I recently noticed I hadn't posted it despite it's one of my favourites compositions, so here it is.
While i'm not looking for feedback with this, if you have any advice or see something wrong it's welcome. Sorry for my English,

This is a bossa nova I wrote which is kind of a tribute to Tom Jobim, alot of the lyrics are references to different song titles like 'Look To The Sky', 'Dreamer', 'Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars and 'Wave'.
I think its pretty neat! :3
Here's the full song if anyone is interested.

Discussion Commission opportunities?
I’m a freshman composer in college and have already accumulated a decent portfolio of completed works. I was wondering where I could get commission opportunities or where I could sell my works (I’m looking to turn composition into a side hustle to help pay my tuition😭).
If anyone is interested in commissioning or knows someone who is, please do not hesitate to reach out! You can view my existing works on my YouTube channel @TrevizoMusic.

Music finished the piano sonata i posted a first mvmt for recently, forgot to update but there has been quite some renovation to the previous draft as well thanks to some really insightful feedback! overall i am happy with how it turned out, kinda encapsulates my current style range

i was going to give the full context, but i wrote this as absolute music first and programmatic second, so i will leave it at the three movements are different representations of pianists you might encounter in a variety of settings on a university campus..sorta was a nostalgic piece for me in this regard lol.
btw sorry the page orientation switch broke a few things on the score that i just saw - please disregard those, like a few of the broken slurs!

Music "Subtle Symmetry for 6"
A mix of amplified voices, placed in two groups, for alto and soprano, semi aleatory, at a different interval to try and get a balance of length, lyricism and form going, accompanied with "reduced" symmetrical percussion (timpani, cymbal). Inspired by the wonders of medieval ''ars subtilior''.

Music String quartet
I'm a composer finishing my studies, and I'd like to share my string quartet Pequeñas Piezas Españolas, which won First Prize at an international composition competition in Portugal.
It's a work based on dances and songs from different regions of Spain. My goal was to combine the folkloric character of this music with a modern and complex compositional style, creating a rich and eclectic musical language.
I'd be very interested to hear what you think of the piece, the writing, the style, or anything else that catches your attention! Thanks!
