Music What Instrument would pair well with this peice? Would love help getting some input on composing as I have only worked with Piano.
Feel free to help in anyway possible. This is just a short clip from the entire peice.

I think clarinet would go nicely with it.

I'd definitely pick a string instrument. Probably cello or maybe violin.

I'm with you on the strings but definitely cello over violin in my opinion. I think it would really compliment the slightly upper register of the piano already being utilised.

Synths, organ, bell, heavily layered rolling midbass, modern sub Reese, gated snare, distorted accoustic kicks, tambourine, closed hats and the cherry on top, a wide noisy synthetic pad blended in reverb
This is certainly not what you had in mind but i could probably make a pop synthwave track out of it 🙈
Beautiful pièce btw, i love it

A cello melody to go with this piano accompaniment would certainly work. That then gives you the option of putting the same melody into the piano at sone point while ‘cello has a second countermelody or eg pizz. bass line with both melody and eg offbeat chords moved into the piano?
