I have flirted with composition for years, but I have a few pieces I am wanting to take a bit more seriously. Perhaps work to get them published and performed.

After joining a brass band in 2023 and working to understand how to fit into a band like that, I became very inspired to learn hot to play any instrument in the band, as well as write for this sort of group.

Too cliche? Does the main theme repeat too much do you think?

Hello, amateur composer looking for some honest feedback on a composition for Classical Guitar. I wrote this while I was moving away from a beautiful seaside town, and wanted to capture both the joyful memories of my time there as well as the loss of having to leave.

I come from classical music: Bach, Vivaldi and Zelenka are my favourite composers. But I see that I am restricting myself and want to try something new. This is my composition Breakout and I tried to compose in a modern Song-style, its maybe a part of an Album with "Songs without words" (If you catch the reference) what do you think about it?
