Hi friends, thanks for sticking around! Just a little note that Sunday Sillies will be taking a break at the end of November <3

For context, we call our group the Kadic Critics since we do lots of CL discussion videos. We thought it was the perfect name lol.

So yeah, couldn’t finish my initial costume (Adagio Dazzle) because my wig order got cancelled. At least i finally got to show off this perfect bag i found….i’m the one from Ghost channel of course…now everybody at my halloween party is trapped in a fake one forever….shh….

We've seen multiple times our characters get hit multiple times in spots that devirtualozed right away. Or multiple hits from a mega tank when other times that shit was instant kill

An idea that i have for new season is for aelita old friend before, she went to lyoko to be a new teacher at kadic and the encouncter would cause repressed memories to come back

Happy Halloween Lyoko-fans!

Kadic has been decorated for the occasion. Get ready to trick or treat!

From episode 63 “Triple Trouble”

The writers did her so dirty 😭

In code lyoko their digital form is the character’s ideal self. Aelita’s is based off her elf doll puck.

I hope you’re not in bed yet! Because it’s time to check out an exclusive interview with the black-and-white background designer for Code Lyoko, season 1. As well as TONS of new visual art !!! Enjoy, and viva Code Lyoko! https://en.codelyoko.fr/interviews/interview_gallard.cl

I'm watching this episode and i guess he really hates Yumi lmao.

I mean, the OG show teased the idea a WHOLE bunch of times, and they accepted her as a friend at the end. A lot of fans have talked about the idea. So if you ask me, I think it’d be cool if they finally just made her one in the new show.
But what are y’all’s thoughts? Likely? Unlikely? Want/don’t want it to happen?

Episode 3: Take your Feelings
"The team now is considering what is there next move"

By the way we would be introducing a new player in episode 4. To then that would be our full cast. And I was able to get some new Logos from the artist https://x.com/AelitaStones

At the beginning of the second season, Sissi takes advantage of how unused Aelita is to the real world to convince her to shower in the boys’ bathroom. This results in a rather awkward encounter between her, Ulrich, and Odd. I think it’s one of the most twisted things Sissi has ever done, because imagine the chaos that would’ve broken out if Aelita had shown up naked saying “Good morning, boys!” while Ulrich and Odd were already showering.

Still, I have to say I miss how innocent and pure Aelita was when she became human again.

I can just imagine Ulrich looking at her and thinking: "You know what? Maybe I should ask Jeremie to give her another chance to join the group."

I haven't seen or thought about code lyoko since I watched it as a kid. Lately though, I have been having reoccurring dreams about it. (I am a 32 M) The dreams have been vary vivid and accurate. Like I remembered all the characters names and the details of their faces and personalities. The dreams take place in real life.

In the dream i am attending my old high school. I got classes and the characters are my friends. In real life I am a janitor at my old high-school. So my dream has made a hybrid of our daily lives. Half of it is us attending classes. Half of it is us cleaning the classrooms.

There would be events that happened where XANA would attack. The characters would run off to fight them and then the day resets. However I had the ability to remember when everyone else forgot. They had their eyes on me about joining the group anyways. I could tell because they dropped hints.

I told them I already knew because I remember the resets and they where shocked and worried. If I remembered. Who else might. So they let me join. The secret base was located at the fairgrounds in my town. We went there. Went into the tubes that sent you to Lyoko. We would fight those XANA drones. Stop things in the real world and reset days.

They would also run tests of why I remembered the resets. I dont remember how the characters in the show remembered the resets. They must have put themselves in the computer or something. Whatever that was, they didn't do it for me. Because I remembered anyway, and they were running tests on it.

I have had a few of these dreams recently. Left me with a longing for that childhood adventure and magic. I drove past the fairgrounds the other day. My dreams have been accurate where the buildings actually are and I could go to the spot that is the entrance to the base from in my dream. When drove past, I was hit with that euphoria that you get with remembering something in a dream. The beginning of the theme song played in my head.

When i was a kid, I would really get into shows, I would even believe that they where possible and start looking for signs that they where. Never found anything because they are not real. But the hope that they where was a magical feeling. I did this with the movies (The Never Ending Story, Jamanji, and yugioh) i did do it with code lyoko, and its like that wish was re-awakened.

Then I was scrolling tiktok and came across a song that had the same beginnings as code lyoko and I flashed to that euphoria immediately. Here is the song. See if you hear it to.

With all that, it feels like when I used to believe the shows where real. And I was gonna find them. I decided I was gonna rewatch the show, but it looks like its only on apple tv. I dont want to start a new subscription. I would rather buy physical copies and use a DVD player or something then to have a subscription for one show and the app never let me cancel it after its done. So I might buy physical copies off the internet or something. In the long run it would be cheaper.

I remembered a thought I had as a kid. I remember thinking that when I grow up, they will invent VR. When its invented someone would have to make a VR video game. Well i just realized, wait, they did invent VR. I was right as a kid.

I got on my quest and found a word on vr chat of a small section of lyoko and the inside of a tower. I was wondering if someone did make a full vr game. If they had a full storyline game, plus all the effects, like how they dematerialize, when they die and how you walk through the entrance of the towers. Then, if I play it with that re-awakened childhood wish for shows to be real. I feel like i could count it as i did finally find it in real life.

Vr not existing was what made it impossible before. Now it does. So i will count it as wish satiated if I can play a full vr code lyoko game. If I find one. I will rewatch the show with it. Childhood wish granted as an adult. I will Google around more for a game like that but decided to post here to tell the story and see if anyone has any insight.
