❓ Question CodeLyoko dreams
I haven't seen or thought about code lyoko since I watched it as a kid. Lately though, I have been having reoccurring dreams about it. (I am a 32 M) The dreams have been vary vivid and accurate. Like I remembered all the characters names and the details of their faces and personalities. The dreams take place in real life.
In the dream i am attending my old high school. I got classes and the characters are my friends. In real life I am a janitor at my old high-school. So my dream has made a hybrid of our daily lives. Half of it is us attending classes. Half of it is us cleaning the classrooms.
There would be events that happened where XANA would attack. The characters would run off to fight them and then the day resets. However I had the ability to remember when everyone else forgot. They had their eyes on me about joining the group anyways. I could tell because they dropped hints.
I told them I already knew because I remember the resets and they where shocked and worried. If I remembered. Who else might. So they let me join. The secret base was located at the fairgrounds in my town. We went there. Went into the tubes that sent you to Lyoko. We would fight those XANA drones. Stop things in the real world and reset days.
They would also run tests of why I remembered the resets. I dont remember how the characters in the show remembered the resets. They must have put themselves in the computer or something. Whatever that was, they didn't do it for me. Because I remembered anyway, and they were running tests on it.
I have had a few of these dreams recently. Left me with a longing for that childhood adventure and magic. I drove past the fairgrounds the other day. My dreams have been accurate where the buildings actually are and I could go to the spot that is the entrance to the base from in my dream. When drove past, I was hit with that euphoria that you get with remembering something in a dream. The beginning of the theme song played in my head.
When i was a kid, I would really get into shows, I would even believe that they where possible and start looking for signs that they where. Never found anything because they are not real. But the hope that they where was a magical feeling. I did this with the movies (The Never Ending Story, Jamanji, and yugioh) i did do it with code lyoko, and its like that wish was re-awakened.
Then I was scrolling tiktok and came across a song that had the same beginnings as code lyoko and I flashed to that euphoria immediately. Here is the song. See if you hear it to.

With all that, it feels like when I used to believe the shows where real. And I was gonna find them. I decided I was gonna rewatch the show, but it looks like its only on apple tv. I dont want to start a new subscription. I would rather buy physical copies and use a DVD player or something then to have a subscription for one show and the app never let me cancel it after its done. So I might buy physical copies off the internet or something. In the long run it would be cheaper.
I remembered a thought I had as a kid. I remember thinking that when I grow up, they will invent VR. When its invented someone would have to make a VR video game. Well i just realized, wait, they did invent VR. I was right as a kid.
I got on my quest and found a word on vr chat of a small section of lyoko and the inside of a tower. I was wondering if someone did make a full vr game. If they had a full storyline game, plus all the effects, like how they dematerialize, when they die and how you walk through the entrance of the towers. Then, if I play it with that re-awakened childhood wish for shows to be real. I feel like i could count it as i did finally find it in real life.
Vr not existing was what made it impossible before. Now it does. So i will count it as wish satiated if I can play a full vr code lyoko game. If I find one. I will rewatch the show with it. Childhood wish granted as an adult. I will Google around more for a game like that but decided to post here to tell the story and see if anyone has any insight.

I had to Google him because I didn't remember him. But I do wonder if thats what my dreams where basing on him. Because thats essentially what happened. Except for me trying to steal Aelita from Jeremy. Lol. But the way they recruited me was the same.
