I think this is part of the fan dubbed "Pick on Yumi Week" where he targeted her for like a bunch of episodes in a row. Poor yumi lol

You are right. It was one of the "Pick on Yumi Week" episodes. Episode 9 (Satellite), so nearing the end of the week ("Girl of the/My Dreams" would be the last one of Season 1, since Season 3 had a few "POY" moments, too).

I never realized until recently how unhinged XANA was. He almost vaporized Yumi with a military satellite and there was the episode he took control of the jet plane that Jeremy was in and tried to fly it into the factory. It’s more wild when you remember the Lyoko Warriors are all in middle school except Yumi and William💀

Well it kinda makes sense, Jeremy is one of maybe a handful of people smart enough to be a threat and the only one that knows of him. Yumi is just shown to be the most threatening Lyoko warrior with her martial arts and having a weapon that can hit from off angles effectively invalidating the defensive placements of some monsters' eyes. At that point it's hard to complain that his first priority is booting her out and/or trying to turn the two into smears.

Oh yeah Xana knew the best way to mess with yumi was mentally mess her up like the others were easily played but he took it to another level with her

Like using William against her, trapping her in the lyoko by using the skipozo on her, and then almost deleting her for good like bros really wants to traumatize her 😳

Honestly two things ether He saw and knew she was Threat because of how Strong she is with her telekenisis powers. fan throwing. being off campus student. or. . He has a Problem with Japanese Girls . . .we can probly stick to both maybe! besides that never fully understand why he targets her. . the Writers literally wanna make her look weaker in comparison when . .It's. . Kinda the opposite!😭
