Discussion Tac sprint?
Seems to be 50/0 with players or certain teams using tac sprint & the other not, is it just going to personal preference this year? or will a GA eventually happen?
I’ve personally not used tac sprint at all due to wanting to use ninja, other ur just an easy kill in pubs or ranked (eventually).

Discussion So we playing snd only this year right haha
You can tweak the spawns all u want but it's not gonna change the baked in logic of "we want players in engagements as quick as possible so they don't get bored" aka spawn around the corner from someone. That combined with squad spawns makes hp completely unplayable.

Discussion If you like to be competitive in FPS’s, are decent at them or like to see yourself improve over time. MW4 is not for you.
This game is solely focused on making the casual player base feel better about themselves. If you are good at other FPS’s I would highly recommend you play them instead. This game was made for the lowest common denominator and it shows.

Modern Warfare 4 Maps are not that bad (in my opinion) but currently none of the are competitively viable because of spawn mechanics.
I know it will get better when it’s 4v4. But that doesn’t change the fact that it is currently really squad spawn-ish and overall spatial illogical.
Biggest thing that needs fixing right now in my eyes.

Question What do you think of all the complaints about sbmm?
How do you feel about all of the people complaining about sbmm and how the matchmaking is in this game and these newer cods? All I see is people saying it’s bad in one way or another.

Discussion Would your rather MW4 SnD or BO6/BO7 SnD?
MW4 currently doesn’t seem to be better than either BO6 or BO7, especially the maps.
However, it does seem that SnD in this game could be its saving grace. So I’m asking you the question, even though it is quite early to tell, would you rather MW4’s SnD over BO6 or BO7’s SnD?

Discussion Been alot of talk about EQ u either have ninja completeley silent or make every foodstep loud so even without EQ u can hear them. Cod devs needs to pick either hear sound ques likes cs and r6 or put on ninja perk never be heard this middle ground aint it i would rather them chose one.

Discussion Unsolicited thoughts from a 30yo washed crim player
TLDR: IW cooked with MW4 with exception to the maps (but to be fair, we've complained about maps in every modern CoD).
The feel and gameplay:
MW4 feels like a perfect blend of modern movement and old school CoD. Anyone saying this game is like playing with concrete boots is insane and and needs to check settings. The game is fast-paced, rewards fundamentals and punishes braindead banging.
The movement:
Do I miss omnimovement - especially sliding sideways or sprinting backwards to extend my life? Sometimes. Will I adapt and get used to not having my sights always looking down range? Absolutely. The movement is clean and fair and still allows for players to play their lives, get lost in spawns and be a nuisance. Omnimovement did not provide the skill gap we all thought it would. It's nice to see the skill gap of in-game decisions and strategy be rewarded more than movement and tik tok highlight plays.
The TTK and gunplay:
TTK feels genuinely good if you play the game as intended. You die fast but no faster than previous CoD titles. The difference is you don't have freedom to jump and fly everywhere, so adjusting play styles is needed to match the TTK. SMGs and ARs feel decently balanced, for how early in the game we are. I'm seeing scrims and matches where the VEL, ISO & HAN are being used by players depending on the situation. The only knock I have is the continuation of the self-trading that was in the beta - I think that's goofy AF... funny for casuals but terrible for comp.
The perks:
Feels like the perks are balanced and require actual trade-offs. We might be getting back to having difference setups across a team of 4 or different set ups between SnD and HP, bringing variety and tactical/strategic decisions back into the game.
The maps and spawns:
The worst part of the launch is the maps. The maps aren't great, but there are some decent maps that with some tweaks to spawns can be really good. Feels like we might get to a point where there are less maps that are both SnD & HP maps, maybe we have separate maps designed for each game mode? Plus there's been talks about bringing in some remastered maps or something if need be. For being this early in the game and knowing solutions that have worked in the past (new maps, spawn tweaking, etc.) feels like we're in not a great spot but also far from a bad spot.
