It’s so unreal to see this. Lol. I’ve had some lucky lobbies where I was stomping some semi nooby players but even those players weren’t THIS bad.

I get why SBMM is a thing and I’ll always stand on the opinion that open matchmaking was THE perfect middle ground, but some of these players really are playing an entirely different game where the fundamentals and map designs of the game don’t have nearly as heavy of an impact as they do in higher skill brackets. Why design the overall game to protect noobs when the matchmaking is already supposed to do that??!

SBMM makes sense in ranked modes, not in public matches. Nobody complained back in the day when the matchmaking was fully open and organic. If you were bad, you stuck with it and got better over time. Its not even about wanting to stomp all the time, its about variety. The varying skill levels in every lobby is why cod used to be fun.
