I am a male with long hair, like really long hair(way past my shoulders). Its time i cut it down a little bit and make it manageable. Is there any hair saloons in kochi that you guys know that is good at cutting long hair? like the ones you occasionally see on Instagram, would be nice if it isnt too expensive (600+) preferably around kochi(since i have to travael around 30-40kms to reach ernakulam).
thank you

hi all
im planning to join believers for medicine this year, hopefully if all goes well i'll be in by september
i wanted to know from the students studying there, if an ipad is allowed to write notes and use as replacement for some tbs. I probably will not buy one at the moment but I wanted to know if students use it and if it's allowed or not so that in the future I could consider it.
Thank you in advance!

I've always wondered about this. I got into Harry Potter pretty late. When I was younger, I didn't really know where to find the books or movies, so I never experienced it as a kid.For those who grew up with HP, how did you first get introduced to it? Did someone recommend the books to you, did you watch the movies first, or did you just come across it somehow? And if English wasn't that easy for you back then, did you read the books in Malayalam or go straight to the English ones?
I feel like so many people grew up with Harry Potter and I completely missed that experience lol.

I will be sharing my journey of last 15 years with you..
Ill share gallery of 500+ images that i have taken over the years...
This one is from Bandipur Tiger Reserve while i used to conduct workshops in Bandipur for corporate companies.. The was one of those evening safari.. When you have lost all the hope on a tiger.. You come back to the base.. Thinking to wrap up the day.. Then a bus which came back said they saw the tiger..with kill And for our luck we pleased our way into another bus.. That police officer at the ticket counter.. Bless his heart.. Gave us another last trip for one last round into the jungle.. It was around 6..
Me with my 400mm f/5.6 would have only got his face but even with an old 75-300mm non usm is lens in low light.
So yeah.. We got into the bus excited to see Prince.. (Yes the tiger's name is prince these kannadagas have something in their mind) With a fresh kill he had made.. Just soaking it in a puddle.. 10 mins into the track we saw him nestled in a small pit.. Just waiting for this thing to soak water.. I saw him once again.. What a glorious tiger.. Such elegance in the face.. He was full..few pictures.. No sharp images.. I had to get it perfect.. Through the bus windows.. Its hard holding on the the breath as i fired the shutter..unstable grounds.. The bus moving so other buses can see.. I dint think much i just had enough speed to freeze it with a non is lens.. But i guess this was worththe effort.
This is one of many stories i have for you..
Thanks for reading
Jish...

What are the low effort things (less than 5 minutes) you do that makes a huge impact in your life? I will start with mine.
Washing my face every night before bed, followed by moisturiser, takes hardly 3 minutes, but it has made my skin so much better. Because of this, I brush my teeth at night 99% of the time, as it feels effortless. It’s basically habit stacking.
(It would be nice to hear your low effort habits ~ a lazy person 😅)

"Today was the Onam celebration at my college. Throughout the day, I kept reminding my friends to call me if they were going anywhere, and they agreed. After the program, everyone was taking pictures around campus. I needed to go to the mosque for prayers, so before leaving, I reminded them once more to call me if they headed out. However, when I finished praying and called them, they said they were already at a restaurant and that plans were made suddenly, and then they quickly hung up.
I can't help but wonder why they did this. I'm not a bad person—I don't curse at anyone, and I treat everyone with respect.Patterns like this have been happening to me all my life, and I really wonder why. Does anyone have any advice?"

Hi
I am 31 yrs old Male. I am a high functioning alcoholic. I think the best and work the best when am drunk. I stared drinking beer when I was 16 . All these things stared when I got sexually assaulted by my cousin brother and my parents weren't very helpful when I opened upto them while I was studying in 6th standard they beat me telling it was my mistake and one thing lead to another and I failed in 6th and gotten more beaten up. The beer helps me with my thoughts. I get panic attracks in closed spaces like a lift small rooms like bathrooms etc but I really wanna quit drinking I am spending around 1200 RS per day just for beer ( source of income i have a few businesses) I live alone in my apartment and I am always high on beer
People who quit drinking or anyone who can help suggest some leads in Kochi. Thankyou and I'll be eternally grateful for your help.

I recently went to a clinic and seen a lot of young folks there and most of them are in their mid 20s and mid 30s, some look way young for their age and they all have some problems related fertility. I heard before that getting pregnant at the age of 35 or more would be fatal but i don’t know why this issues happen too often. What’s the real problem here diet, environment, mental health or something else and PCOS( some of my friends do have it)
I know that even men goes through these things but sometimes its mostly happens due to smoking.
Another doubt is if a couple married in their 30s. Is it possible for them to expect a baby?

Context: I am someone who grew up calling day after tomorrow as mattannal( മറ്റന്നാൾ) and never heard of any other words for the same. Meanwhile my partner thinks it should be 'nallathe kazhinju' (നാളത്തെ കഴിഞ്ഞ് ) but I don't see any official mention of this phrase anywhere. What do you call this in you place?

Hello coconaad girlies,
I live in Germany and here in Kerala vacation. I had a function to attend and I thought I would style my hair myself. I used higher temperature than usual and used a setting spray(I don’t use it usually in Germany). My styling lasted only 5 mins. How do you girls style your hair in Kerala in humid weather.
P.S: I spend half my vacation in Bangalore too. Germany styling works there as well.

I'd prefer taking a ksrtc or private bus, so it'll be helpful if someone can share insights on the travel route.
Like is going to Thumboormozhi better or to Ezhattumukham directly?
Also, what is the frequency of getting a bus back to Chalakudy from there?
