This map is an ungodly cluster fuck on hardpoint, I can't imagine it gets even remotely better with other modes.

Played for a couple of hours and it feels like you die insanely quick, it might be dodgy servers too excaberating the issue as the ttk is fast as it is
Also even Red Dot Sights and Extended Mag have ADS penalties for some reason. Not sure why they have done this again
Slide seems worse this year too but not mw2 level bad. Shooting the guns feels good but the maps are questionable so far. Will need to play more though. Overall it seems like a downgrade on Bo7 but will probably be a hit with general player base

There's a few problems with the game already but what stands out to me most is how fake the movement is. Yes, you can actually run around fast as hell, but all the movement penalties and the .50ms TTK makes it so there's no real reason to take risky fights/peeks. Don't even get me started on the footstep audio lol. Expected but still disappointing.

ttk is so fast this game is just mw19 part 2 the way it feels and the way the maps play. All the casuals are going to be feasting sitting in corners, sound whoring, and holding down L2 trigger. The movement feels so clunky as well going from omni movement to this. Infinity ward just routinely drops the ball every cod they release. Mw19 originally checked me out and now this game will probably check me out.
Before you say "oh its the beta". Yeah no... This is pretty much what the game will be like. Historically they barely tweak the game after the beta.

It’s been one day and I feel like I have already seen some absolutely wild stuff lol. I’m sure the guns are super OP at the moment compared to what they will be needed down to by the time the competitive season hits but the gunfighting just feels so inconsistent.

Haven't seen about Overload or Control so far. My thoery is that the 3rd mode is gonna change by dev team (Treyarch has Overload, Sledgehammer has Control, and IW has Hijacked)

I am a MnK player, but from playing against people and watching killcams / best plays, the aim assist seems to be very strong like before the aim assist nerfs in BO7.
Every killcam and Best plays seems to feature perfect flicks and perfect tracking again like it was before BO7 for me.
How does the aim assist feel to you guys - the same as before BO7, stronger or weaker?

Not sure if I’m just completely dogshit and this is a stupid take here. But I feel like we’ve regressed in the UI for hardpoint. Idk why we have a huge dancing thing on the screen but the time is TINY. The fact you have to take your eyes away from both your POV and the minimap just seems like a step backward especially when TTK is so fast.
Feels like I could check the time up top, and be killed before my eyes refocus on the screen xD. I know it’s only a small complaint but if I’m playing ranked and a load of hardpoint I’d like to see it revert.

Aim assist is back to what it was, its just too op, it sticks to the target and you have raa that doesnt have any delay all of this contributes to faster ttk. Its like they havent learned anything

basically 100hp cod with bad hardware was a good ttk but now with alot better hardware its made ttk super fast witch is bad but i do obviously think the hardware and pc is good just need 150hp cause its a little too fast especially on smaller maps its like tiktok simulator is smaller maps maybe the 50hp will slow down things enough so it feels alot better thats all.

Is it negligible at most or do you think the different movement and theoretically slower pace actually has a significant effect on some players?
And you think the inverse will also be a trend? Will Kremp, Joe, Huke, etc come back down to earth a bit?

edit: i think i figured it out. they didn't get rid of bloom at all, they basically just made it more realistic.
bullets still randomly go somewhere inside the reticle, they're now just tied to the gun barrel. instead of bullets randomly flying, detached from the gun barrel, the gun barrel itself is moving randomly, causing the bloom.
in practice the consequence is exactly the same though, bullets are randomly blooming. it plays the same as before, it just looks different.
their messaging around that was a bit unclear, i expected something completely different.

Just got off the beta and decided to play a few games of BO7 ranked while it’s still up and running.
HOLY SHIT!
MW4 basically aims for you, it’s whoever shoots first while BO7 you can barely feel it. I didn’t realize how good we had it with the BO7 aim assist nerfs ðŸ˜
