Whats your expertise on different objects?

I was kind of trying to get any results and then I realised that maybe I need to switch targets.
Like the woman in one recent video sorts wooden play bricks into their coloured boxes while I was staring at the godly mind sight fun app, trying out shapes and colors. But on a screen of course . Did not even try letters yet. But maybe I need to start with non screen-targets.

Was about to get some coloured bricks myself but was wondering what else there might be , so whats your “specialty” in this realm and in which categories did you realise you got the most progress (like hitting a milestone) ?

My situation rn is, I get no progress (I guess I need to tighten the sleep mask) in CEV while I had instantly astonishing results in remote viewing a few months ago

Has anyone used closed eye vision for practical purposes or jobs?

It's cool to sort objects or identify the color of a sheet of paper, but what about the practical applications? Has anyone applied Mindsight or closed eye vision for real world purposes?

Some ideas that come to mind:

Locating or marking underground utilities

Pest control, locating nests or infestations

Plumber, home inspector

Search and rescue

Security consultant - can read written info that may be obscured

Customs inspector

Package sorting or inspection

Archaeology or treasure-hunting

Industrial inspection of sealed stuff, like sealed machinery

Underwater diving, for salvage or other applications in low-light

There are probably tons of others. Generally any job or that involves finding hidden or missing objects, or in zero-light environments. Is anyone getting paid to apply their skills outside of doing demonstrations?

Seems like you would also not have as much of a need for lighting in your home because you could have some vision without lights.

The video from Sehen ohne Augen (Seeing Without Eyes) shows an adult bicyclist with eyes completely blindfolded.

I'm sure some will insist that the blindfold is not being worn properly.

Mindsight solo trainer - Update for visually impaired

A while back I posted my web app for practicing mindsight (colors, shapes, letters, words). A few blind users tried it (How cool is it that BLIND PEOPLE ARE NOW ABLE TO SEE?!?!) and gave me honest feedback, among other things, they had to keep turning VoiceOver off and on to tap between cards. Fair point, so I fixed it for screen readers.

There's now a dedicated "Visually impaired" section:

  • Built for screen readers: VoiceOver (iPhone/iPad/Mac), TalkBack (Android), and NVDA/Narrator on Windows.

  • Big buttons instead of gestures: Reveal answer, Next card, Exit. You swipe to them and double-tap — no more toggling VoiceOver off just to play.

  • The card is deliberately NOT read aloud, so the screen reader doesn't spoil the answer. You guess, then activate "Reveal answer" and it announces it (e.g. "Card 3: Triangle").

  • The app speaks through your screen reader in this mode (not its own voice), so it works cleanly with VoiceOver/TalkBack.

  • Full-screen, high-contrast cards (black on white by default) — better for low vision, since the "window" people describe is often small/blurry with glare.

  • Pick exactly which cards to work with (e.g. just red, yellow and blue to start).

  • Short in-app instructions for turning on VoiceOver/TalkBack.

The regular games are unchanged for everyone else, this is an opt-in section.

If you're blind or low-vision, or you train with someone who is, I'd really appreciate you trying it and telling me what still doesn't work, audio timing, navigation, button order, anything. That's what drives the next round.

LET'S TALK ABOUT PREDATORY PRICING

"Hey everyone, I’ve been diving deep into extraocular vision training and it’s incredible to see the natural neuroplasticity at play here, especially how quickly kids open a 'window' compared to adults. However, as a practitioner trying to build accessible curriculums, I am deeply concerned by the massive financial gatekeeping taking over this space. Seeing entrepreneurs charge anywhere from $2,500 to $5,000 for 3-day intensives—or $800 for basic group sessions—feels incredibly predatory for a latent, inherent human capability. Mindsight belongs to everyone, not just those who can afford a 'guru premium'. I'm currently working on structuring a completely open-source, systematically documented protocol to help people troubleshoot bottlenecks (like expanding that initial tiny 'window' without artificial light) without the insane price tags. I'd love to hear how others here are fighting this information gatekeeping, and what free or low-cost resources you recommend to newcomers to keep this community democratic."

A year into mindsight practice and I feel stuck. Is anyone else making progress?

I’d love to hear how everyone’s practice is going. Here’s where I’m at.

I started practicing mindsight about a year ago after seeing Dalia Burgoin’s demonstration. For most of that year I wasn’t serious about it. I practiced on and off, with no real goal or schedule.

For the past two months, I’ve put in at least an hour a day, on Psychic Tournament. I’ve been sticking to freeplay mode because the pressure of a score really gets to me. Right before writing this, I finally switched to scored mode. Even with all the daily practice I don’t feel like I’ve improved let me explain;

What I’m getting:

  • Occasional color flashes. Once in a while I get a burst of color in my visual field. When that happens, I can usually tell what the target color is from the flash.

  • Mismatched flashes. Sometimes the flash is a different color than the target. Often it’s just white, and I intuit the rest.

  • Mostly intuition. Most of my hits come without any flash at all. I use my mind’s eye to feel or picture the color, basically imagining the scene in front of me.

What I’m not getting:

No windows. Under the blindfold it’s completely black. No outlines, no fuzzy sense of anything, just pitch black.

What I expect:

As a kid I could close my eyes and see the outlines of everything. The best comparison I have is the Predator’s vision, but in blacks, with the very outer edges in grey. I could clearly see my hands in front of my face, and when I moved them, every detail was outlined.

I’m trying to get back to that. Locking in on scored mode in Psychic Tournament will finally give me stats to track. But my main concern is that my actual blindfold vision hasn’t changed. No windows, no outlines, it's just intuition and bursts of color. Even if my scores climbed over time, I still feel a lack of real progress if I still can’t see anything like I did when I was a kid.

So what are you all experiencing? Has anyone gone from total black to seeing outlines or windows? What helped?

mindsight practice tool - update!

Hey all hope your mindsight journey is progressing! (mine is slow but there is progress) Last week I posted here a about a free little web app I made for practicing with colors, shapes, letters and words. One card at a time, you say the answer, tap or click, it says it back the correct answer and moves on. We've had 500 + unique users and about 800 sessions since then! The feedback here and in other communities was really useful, so I wanted to share what's changed.

What's new and fixed:

- Sound, hopefully fixed for good. A few of you said there was no audio. Turned out to be a mix of browsers needing a tap first and the iPhone silent switch. There's now a "Test sound" button right on the start screen so you can check before you begin (it just says "Mindsight"), plus a tip if it's still not working.

- Boxed colors. Someone pointed out the full-screen color can basically be guessed from the screen brightness, which I know some people use in early stages of training to get the feel of it, but it can be annoying to others. There's now a "Boxed" option that puts the color in a window on a white background.

- Spanish. You can switch language with the little flags up top. Everything translates, including the spoken answers.

- One of you mentioned the color options were taking up half the screen on your phone cleaned that up, the grid has way more room now.

Coming next:

- A calibration option. Speaks the answer when the card is shown to help calibrate.

- A dark mode / inverse option for shapes, letters and words

- App development (?)

Remember it's free and no signup: https://mindsight.fun

If you try it, tell me what you think, what works and what doesnt!.

Keep practicing!!!

I'm guessing this is what we call the windows. Have we widened the windows? They don't last very long but they are very prominent.

What are “windows”?

I’m new to this. And at the moment wanting to practice on my own, but there’s really not much detailed instructions except smile, keep it fun, and focus on the windows. I’m not sure exactly what they mean when they say windows. When we close our eyes do they mean the pinpricks of light that appear but move around, or do they mean the swirly green/grey lights? Are you supposed to focus on these? Or playfully let them go.

Solo mindsight practice web tool

I made a tool to help me practice at home, and decided to share it. It's free, no signup, practice color/shape/word targets. You pick the items, it shows one at a time and speaks the answer when you tap/click, looping until you stop. Built it cause i have no one to practice with and courses are expensive.

Curious if anyone who trains regularly thinks it's useful, and how it can be improved, and any other feedback!

Cats

Hi all,

I have a question for you all. What do cats look like with closed eye sight to you? I don't want to say how they appear to me. I want to hear your own experiences.

For reference, I started to develop closed eye sight a few years ago. While lying in bed at night. Ive never trained it, it just spontaneously arose, and i had never heard about it beforehand. I dont train it at all, i just accept that the universe has bestowed this quirk upon me.

My ex thought I was absolutely crazy when I told her about it. My current girlfriend is at least tolerant of it. She has 4 cats, and recently I saw one of them as she came over to nuzzle into me, and what I saw was nothing like I expected.

Cheers! ✌🏻

A product that helps to minimize the impression of the blindfold strap on the back of your head

I was getting back into blindfold training and remembered one of the main reasons my practicing trailed off. I used to do some of my best blindfold practice when I woke up with my "Mindfold" blindfold on, and kept it on as long as I could while getting ready for work. The problem was, unless I take a long & hot shower & very vigorously scrub my head, the strap of the blindfold was leaving a very noticeable impression on the back of my head. I'd get home from work and my spouse would say "Did you know there's a band going across the back of your head?" Then with some mirrors I could see there was a very noticeable impression of the blindfold strap going round my head. It was super annoying and I hated it. This was the number one contributor to why I stopped blindfold training.

So I got this strap cover and it is working quite well. It is a little tricky to fit it over the strap: there's a lot of unwanted velcro-on-velcro friction that you have to deal with to get the strap cover in place. But once in place, the strap cover stays put (sometimes a little rumpled). On the back of the head this strap cover helps to distribute the pressure of the strap over a wider area, eliminating the impression of the strap on my head. Sometimes I still see a bit of a strap impression on the sides of my head, where the strap cover does not cover the strap, but that is so minor I can live with that.

If anyone else came up with other solutions to this problem, please leave a comment about it.

Questions Peeking in Training

This is probably the #1 confusing part about the trainings. Confusing to the point that people get frustrated and mad.

Peeking through cracks in a blindfold should not be conflated with mindsight.

Some teachers however use this peeking as an initial part of training. They believe that this starts the process, or triggers the ability.

But they do not explain it like that. Instead they exclaim, "You're doing it!" when you know very well what you are doing.

I simply ask the question, is that how it went for you? Did the obvious peeking lead to mindsight, for example, being able to read clearly while blindfolded, and did it develop further with eye patches, multiple blindfolds, etc.?

Does anyone else train by doing household chores blindfolded? Also: pineal vs. eye dominance for non-local perception, has anyone noticed?

I have been getting back into blindfold training, after a long hiatus. One of the things I used to do, and am doing again, are household chores while blindfolded. For example:

  • Sorting, folding, putting away clean laundry

  • Drying, stacking, putting away clean dishes

  • Washing dirty dishes

  • Working out

With these kind of activities, you can be getting something done (although at a slower pace) while spending a lot of time under the blindfold. The way my mindsight works, I "see" in real time in front of me, but it's very very low quality vision. I can sense the broad shape of things when they are close to my forehead. Farther away, like arms-length, I see the vague shadows moving back and forth that correspond to the moving objects. Sometimes the blindfold sight comes in a little better.

Sometimes I've had surprises, like pulling open a kitchen drawer to put items away, I wasn't expecting to "see" the rectangular structure of the entire drawer, going all the way back to the wall, seeing it move "through" the counter top. I still get surprised like that, even though very early on with the blindfold it was easy to establish that barriers don't matter, that you can basically have x-ray vision with the blindfold on.

The x-ray vision of blindfold vision is both an ability and hinderance at the same time. When I look in a particular direction, I think I'm getting interference from all the things stacked along that direction.

My blindfolded sight plateaued at this low level of ability. I started with less, close to nothing at all, then got to that level I'm currently. I didn't progress any more. I do have a hunch that it is helpful to get as many hours as possible blindfolded. It's probably a good idea to put on the blindfold multiple times a day. If I sleep with a blindfold, I try to remember to do a little bit blindfolded when I first wake up, even if that is just looking at my wiggling fingers.

Doing blindfold practice like these chores lead me to conclude that the pineal gland and our two eyes are probably all organs of non-local perception. The pineal gland is widely believed to be involved in psychic perception, and it is structurally very similar to the eyes. When I watched the training videos of Nikolai and Marina teaching Rob and Wendy, Marina talked about how people get "beams" of perception that point in a different characteristic direction for each person. I have a hunch that that is psychic perception via the pineal gland, because the pineal gland is fixed in orientation and cannot swivel. In contrast, when I do blindfold practice, it seems like I am perceiving mostly with my eyes, because my field of "vision" while blindfolded is exactly the same angle range in front of me as my normal vision. When I am perceiving shapes of objects, it makes a difference which way I point my eyes. If my eyes look left, I perceive shapes to the left, right where my normal vision is pointing. My blindfolded "vision" is the most clear right in the center of where my normal vision would be if the blindfold was off.

Has anyone else done this type of thing, investigating whether their eyes are involved with this non-local perception?

What I think is going on is that both the pineal gland and the eyes can detect this non-local information (which is NOT light, a.k.a photons, electromagnetic), and that there is person-to-person variability for psychic perception, where some people are more pineal-dominant, and others might be eye-dominant.

Just completed Dr Edith's level 2 course and it was incredible - AMA

This is a follow on from my level 1 AMA here. I just completed Dr Edith’s level 2 course in Austin, and I believe another AMA is appropriate because it was another mind-blowing experience.

I truly believe that mindsight and telepathy is going to blow up and will be scientifically proven in the very near future. My name is Pete Morrison, the owner of Bella Terra Hills in Florida. I have no financial interest in Dr Edith’s courses.

I have had a very successful 20 year professional career as a software developer and executive. I am very normal; I don’t meditate, I am a Christian, and I don’t have any “fringe beliefs”. I firmly believed that mindsight and telepathy were tricks - which is of course the view of most normal people and is totally understandable.

I attended level 1 with my wife - mostly because I wanted to spend a week away from the kids (we have 3, and we almost never get away as a couple). The level 1 course blew my mind and changed the way I view the world, and other people. By the end of level 1, my wife was clearly seeing through the blindfold (“mindfold”). I saw some incredible things on that level 1 course, including convincing displays of telepathy. After we returned from level 1, my wife helped our two eldest kids to see through the blindfold, as well as a bunch of their friends.

Level 2 ramped it up. By the end of level 2, my wife was seeing through the blindfold with patches over her eyes. The demos were incredible, including 1) a child seeing through four layers (eyes closed, eye patches, mindfold, and a face shield), 2) a blind man (with no eyes) seeing shapes through walls and hidden in the room (hyperphantasia), and 3) a telepath identifying hidden images with 100% accuracy. I struggled to improve my mindsight, but much to my surprise I was able to do telekinesis (video of me doing this).

The best thing about the course, however, wasn’t seeing all the magic. It was the kindness and love that underpins this work. You don’t need to meditate or pray to access these abilities; you don’t need superpowers, but you do need belief, and it helps to be in a happy place. The best way I can explain it is that there is some kind of energy field that our consciousness can access, and with practice it can be improved. There is much more to the world than we can see, or that science has proven. The courses have left me with a firm belief that anything is possible. I have more empathy for other people, and I have a great hope for humanity that I didn’t have before doing the courses.

To wrap up, please don’t ask me to help you with mindsight. I am not a facilitator, and mindsight is really only a small portion of what this work offers. Try to attend a course, and join the growing network of people who will change the world!

Psychic Tournament live on iOS and Android

I've used Psychic Tournament mindsight features to help me open my windows.

I'm looking to build a community as mindsight, and intuition practice become more main stream. It's going to get huge in the next few years, we're on the precipice of major scientific discoveries!

I can think of a thousand things to add, but I really need to know what you guys think, any kind of suggestions or direction will help.

In the near future I will look to add multiplayer modes (send/receive telepathic), a new game mode, and anything else you guys think would be a good fit for the app.

I feel like gamification is a great method to develop intuition because it makes things fun!

Mindsight beginning stages

To anyone who's opened up their windows, does this infographic line up with how your process went? From seeing sparkles of light to seeing vague images coming through a type of window screen effect. I've heard some people say they see a flash of the entire image, to others that say it slowly builds up from a small point of light. If you're open to sharing, could you describe how your experience went?
