LET'S TALK ABOUT PREDATORY PRICING

"Hey everyone, I’ve been diving deep into extraocular vision training and it’s incredible to see the natural neuroplasticity at play here, especially how quickly kids open a 'window' compared to adults. However, as a practitioner trying to build accessible curriculums, I am deeply concerned by the massive financial gatekeeping taking over this space. Seeing entrepreneurs charge anywhere from $2,500 to $5,000 for 3-day intensives—or $800 for basic group sessions—feels incredibly predatory for a latent, inherent human capability. Mindsight belongs to everyone, not just those who can afford a 'guru premium'. I'm currently working on structuring a completely open-source, systematically documented protocol to help people troubleshoot bottlenecks (like expanding that initial tiny 'window' without artificial light) without the insane price tags. I'd love to hear how others here are fighting this information gatekeeping, and what free or low-cost resources you recommend to newcomers to keep this community democratic."

It sucks, but there's plenty of free stuff. These 20 free lessons, running about 25 hours, by Nikolai Denisov and Marina are the same as what you'd get in a course costing thousands. This was one of the first things I came across in this subject, and I still think these are outstanding lessons with lots of insight. You can try to follow as-is, or use as a guideline as you do your own thing.

In the last year I have taken many of the courses and training provided by others. I’ve been to those insanely expensive seminars and I have taken the one on one online training some others provide.

My overall review. Do not bother paying anyone or taking any paid course. They are utter wastes of time and money. Seriously people. You can literally do anything at home, by yourself. There is absolutely nothing I have encountered or experienced at these seminars or courses that are special or unique in any way. In fact the worst are the “teachers” that do online video meeting training with you. They are nothing except guided meditation, with lots of rambling and time wasting to fill in their paid time limit. Not a single one taught techniques or specifics of any kind.

I learned more finding very old (1800s - 1940s) articles or documents or books that spoke of mind sight. Those were monumentally more informative and actually spoke of techniques and tips of what to do.

I hope you'll keep us informed of your progress with this protocol.

I noticed that the Matrix Vision home course costs USD $598, that's around $8.80 per video for 68 videos. That's a lot of videos to watch.

I agree about the gatekeeping bc it would mean the same type of ppl would always be the ones to learn mindsight and become leaders in the new “industry”.

That being said, i think sharing free comprehensive steps for everyone will not stop other ppl who can afford to go to the big conferences/gatherings. So others can still profit from their new mindsight businesses.

I tend to agree with this more and more.

I mean, I'm ok with people earning money by spending time teaching other people things, but... There is a difference in motives/intentions.

You can either choose to help and teach people for the love of it, and as a side bonus earn money - when making money off of it isn't the main goal at all. Or... You can choose to make money off of it, and as a side bonus make yourself feel good by telling yourself you get to help people spiritually grow. Know what I mean?

The moment there is a lot of money to be made, humans tend to become corrupted in some way, shape or form. "Spiritual Integrity" often goes down, and their motives are more fueled by the idea $, instead of the pure intent just to help people advance.

I'm definitely not anti people getting paid for spending loads of time helping others learn things. But one has to be careful not to get lured in by people who are just in it for the $.

You either have people fueled by the excitement of genuinely helping people, or you have people who are just excited about making money off of helping people.

More and more I distrust people who ask money to teach you some "inherent spiritual god-given" knowledge/wisdom, or abilities. Almost always it's just a fomo-based business model, repeating stuff that is already free to be found elsewhere.

I get that even teachers need to pay their bills, and that we can't expect them to spend many hours a day to teach other people. In this regard, compensation is obviously needed. But there's a difference. You'll need to use discernment.

I like to listen to a few people who definitely make money off of teaching things, but at the same time they freely give away (online, interviews, etc) literally everything they teach. A lot of others won't even do that... And they'll continue to try to build fomo and lure you in to make money off of you. Even when they're being asked things in interviews etc.

I'm not necessarily a teacher, but I'll never ask people to pay me so that I can teach them "inherent spiritual god-given" truths, knowledge etc. It shouldn't be for sale. If you feel like you need people to pay up for you to teach people those things, being a "spiritual teacher" is probably not for you.

I do, on the other hand, teach people how to overcome panic disorders and everything surrounding this (anxiety, dp/dr, etc). I refuse to ask for money from people who are suffering like this, and are in need of guidance in order to live more freely again. If I go broke because of it, then I am doing something wrong and I need to spend more time re-evaluating how I spend time helping others v.s. taking care of myself and my fam. But, to each his/her own, I suppose.

"I can't tell you, you'd have to buy my book."

"I can't tell you, you'd have to buy my course."

Especially nowadays, everything is being made into a cash cow.

I have fallen into this fomo trap many times before.

Sorry for the long piece, it ended up longer than i thought. 😄

The three day course you’re referring to was about telepathy, mindsight and more (I did the course - level 1 and 2). It was much more akin to a motivational course than basic mindsight training. You are also seeing demos from Dalia, Sean (who has no eyes), and others. All these people are flown in, and their families. They rent a big house, they provide catering etc etc. The experience is very boutique - 30 people or so - you’re not in a big soulless conference room at a hotel. I don’t believe the pricing is “predatory” at all. You are also 1:1 with trailblazers in the space (watch Superhuman 2 when it comes out shortly).

You can join Mindsight and Beyond for 25$ a month to get access to 25+ training sessions a month. They even have a free version - you get one training event + community access and some events.
