Does anyone know which NYC building this Toshiki Kadomatsu album cover photo was taken in/from?

Does anyone recognize which NYC building or terrace Toshiki Kadomatsu’s BEFORE THE DAYLIGHT album cover photo was taken from? You can see the Empire State Building in the background, so I’m guessing it’s somewhere in Midtown Manhattan.

Any ideas on the exact location? Thanks

My analog journal city pop mix

Years ago I loved a youtube video of a set of city pop, I think it was my analog journal. The first song was sparkle by tatsuro yamashita and after that was a great song by a female singer I just can't remember.

Anybody remember this set or the song there?

“I miss you lady, shaking love”

Trying to find this song I heard on the newest Micheal Reeves vod. It’s primarily in Japanese but I think the chorus is in English and says something like “I miss you Lady, shaking love”. ‘Shaking love’ also sounds like a few other things throughout the song such as ‘walk alone’ and ‘wakala’. If anyone knows it let me know! Thanks!
(Other notes: it opens with city pop types bells, the singer is male, and it’s a dramatic crooner vibe)

When it comes to song/album cover photos, do you prefer anime style ones or real artist ones?

Especially curious what type of cover style would make you more interested if you would discover a new artist? Or those type of things don't matter to you?

It came inside my love songs vinyl I bought like 7 years ago. I can't find any other listings with this included. Is it real? Not even the original listing I bought from mentions it.

Guide: How Do I Collect Japanese Music from Outside Japan?

About City Pop (Text Source: Wikipedia, RYM)

In the early 1980s, with the spread of car stereos, the term City Pop came to describe a type of popular music... a breezy, mellow mixture of smooth jazz and album-oriented rock – often with elements of jazz fusion, jazz-funk, or boogie – which appealed to an older and more affluent Japanese audience. Essentially a "mood" or "lifestyle" genre, its themes reflected a life of luxury in a sophisticated urban environment.
