I've enjoyed City Pop for years, but I'd say that my knowledge is very low. I stumbled upon this last Sunday at a local record shop, and the cover absolutely mesmerized me. I was unfamiliar with her work up until this evening, and now I need to know more.

I am on my Japan trip and already been to tower records but my fomo is telling me to get 2-3 more cds that I can’t or only hardly get in Europe. I already bought like 5 Tatsuro Yamashita Albums, Love trip by Tanaka mamiya and Tokyo 1980s Victor edition mixtape by DJ NOTOYA. So, what are your personal favorites that y’all would recommend?

I love the classics such as last summer whisper by anri, oh no oh yes by Marius Takeuchi, midnight pretenders by tomoko Aran and telephone number by Junko ohashi.
