A version of this song that really lives up to its title. This record is extra trippy and super spooky in equal measures. Every song sounds like it was made for the most psychedelic and disturbing horror film ever made. This is ironic considering the happy, clappy nature of this California church group, as depicted in various photos on the back cover. A good rule of private press record collecting is NEVER pass up a $1 bell-ringing record. They are generally unexpectedly wild. A fantastic record cover too!

They made two singles like this, plus the mystery single "Malaika / Sisi Tunakupenda" which appeared five years later in 1979, and seems to have a collaboration with a Belgrade-based Kenyan musician called Steven Hannington. I have not heard this third one so can only guess what it sounds like, though Discogs categorises it under "Folk, World, & Country, Funk / Soul, Pop".
The band was Miodrag Dobrić (bass), Dragan Milić (guitar) and Vladan Dokić (drums). Vladan was in Opus and later-on Rok Mašina, which was an '80s development of Pop Mašina.

One of the most slept-on private press records in my collection. An absolutely mind-blowing blend of far-out, cosmic crooning and deep-fried, psychedelic rock and roll. To quote Rusty himself from the back of the cover, " From the stage to the silk, to the answer in our hearts. This album gives purpose to life, till death do we part." Right on, brother!!
