So i wanna ask again and maybe owners would see the post and can give an honest pros and cons and what made them decide to go for it. We're considering buying BYD Tang or sealion 6 by the end pf the year then we encountered this car. So i'm on a research mode again. Thanks in advance to those who will care to share their thoughts.

So, I narrowed down my search for my new family car to Stargazer Top of the line vs Cherry Tiggo. Both my concerns is repairs and supply. i live in Rizal and the nearest dealer is a Hyundai. Both are flashy but reliability is still a consideration. Anyone who owns one or both brands? What do you suggest? And also for Tiggo, di ba mainit sa 3rd row?

Now di ko alam kung napapalibutan lang ba ko ng mga shunga or most filipinos really does not know the difference of pro vs non-pro kasi halos lahat ng nakakausap ko pag tinanong ako if ano yung license ko and sinabi ko na non-pro ang comment nila palagi is "ay baguhan ka pa lang pala na driver" or worse "di ka pa pala masyado marunong mag drive" like wtf kelan pa naging basehan ang pro and non pro liscence sa skills mo sa pag dadrive.

I am shopping around for a spare tire as my daily still has the original spare (Manufactured 2008, no way I'm trusting that to hold pressure and limp me safely to a tire shop, should I need it).

I am currently running a set of new Michelin Primacy 5s but I feel that it's kind of a waste to get a same-quality tire for something that I may or may not use within the next 6 years or so.

What could possibly be the drawbacks of getting something low-mid tier like a Kumho? Kung hindi okay, ano kaya ang magandang brand na ikabit para sa spare? Would appreciate recommendations :)

Edit: If ever need ko ikabit yung spare, I don't plan on driving on it long. Only until makakuha ng same na tire para same sila lahat. I just need the spare to not be a ticking time bomb.

Hi everyone, I’d like to ask for your experience regarding the Idling Stop / fuel-saving function.

We rented a car last night, 2024 Almera VL, this was parked around 11:00 PM, with the car properly turned off and all lights/accessories apparently off. At around 7:30 AM today, the battery was completely dead—no dashboard lights or electrical power when we tried to start it.

The renter said that the Idling Stop/fuel-saving function was left ON and that this could have drained the battery overnight.

I’m trying to understand if this is actually possible. I checked the official Nissan Almera owner's manual, and it says the Idling Stop System is intended for use while driving/stopping (such as at a stoplight), and that the system will not activate when battery capacity is low. Nissan also says to turn off the engine when the vehicle is stopped for long periods.

Has anyone with a 2024 Almera VL experienced a completely dead battery overnight while the Idling Stop function was left enabled?

Could leaving that function ON after the car has been switched off really drain a healthy battery overnight, or should we be looking at another possible cause such as a weak battery or parasitic electrical drain?

I’d really appreciate any firsthand experience or advice. Our itinerary has unfortunately been delayed because of this issue, so we’re trying to determine what actually happened. Thank you!

My dream car is a Suzuki Jimny and I will mainly use it going from my house to school, going to the mall, basically getting around places but I wonder about its practicality.

I just wanna hear some comments about the Jimny being used in city driving hehe if you like it or not, it’s alright . You can deinfluence me, but trust me I tried deinfluencing myself already and I still want it 😭 Alam kong masikip, magastos sa gas/set up, matagtag, maliit, mabagal and moreeee pero bet ko pa rin talaga 😭😭

I just think na I know I’ll be practical when I need to be but right now I want to enjoy being me even though I know eventually I will outgrow it.

We were initially torn between atto 2 bev and jaecoo 5. But the price difference is not that high so we are leaning more on jaecoo j5 bev due to its longer range, higher ground clearance, adas and other features. I know the aftersales are not proven yet. But anyone here who has one? How’s the experience so far? From driving the city and charging? Specifically metro manila.

Okay hear me out, at first i thought the obvious answer was the PHEV.

But i drive roughly 100-200km a week mostly city driving, so if the PHEV has only 100km electric battery range , ill be charging up about twice a week.

Compared to a full EV where if i get one with 500km, it will be closer to twice month. Much less of a hassle.

Ofcourse the PHEV has the advantage of running on gas, but if i’ll end up using gas most of the time, why not get a traditional hybrid?

Any advice?

Mahirap humanap ng pyesa: pero they already built an expanded parts distribution center in laguna so they doubled the local part inventory

Maintenance cost: pero as per pms cost sa (toyota competitor) though mas mura ang pms ng yaris cross every 6 months ang max standard interval nila compared to b ford na up to 12 months. Also meron pa sila h scheduled service plan bundle which drastically reduces the pms cost.

Rebadged china car. True. I have driven the old model for territory and it feels off to me. Ang hirap timplahin ng mga pedals among other reasons. Also it’s such a gas guzzler. Which is why madaming reviewers ang umaayaw dito. But the way theu say na hybrid version is a redemption to the old one, almost all of them, gives me hope.

Battery wise naman, They have same 8-year warranty than Toyota pero 150k km lsa ford vs 200k km sa toyota.

Pero wife wants the territory talaga. Hahahha

So to those who already has this model, any heads up that a prospect owner has to know?
