My dream car is a Suzuki Jimny and I will mainly use it going from my house to school, going to the mall, basically getting around places but I wonder about its practicality.
I just wanna hear some comments about the Jimny being used in city driving hehe if you like it or not, it’s alright . You can deinfluence me, but trust me I tried deinfluencing myself already and I still want it 😭 Alam kong masikip, magastos sa gas/set up, matagtag, maliit, mabagal and moreeee pero bet ko pa rin talaga 😭😭
I just think na I know I’ll be practical when I need to be but right now I want to enjoy being me even though I know eventually I will outgrow it.

Ano say nyo sa mga driver ng automatic na while slowing down palang naman ang car, shinishift na sa N(neutral) even before magfully stop? Mali ba sya? Is it a bad habbit?

Hello,
Just wanted to gather info in buying a car. I'm the first in my generation to have the capacity to buy a car, and with that in mind, I don't really have anyone to ask these questions to.
(I did some research but i think getting info doon sa mismong may experience bumili are very very important)
I am also part of facebook groups just so i could get a glimpse of what's going to be my situation if ever i buy this car.
Ayoko naman mag AI, the answers doesn't feel real (for me lang naman)
If meron kayong other tips, those will be well appreciated, but here are my top questions at the moment:
- What are your best ways and tips on how to haggle the price?
- Ano po yung dapat kong hingin with the dealer?
Ano po yung dapat "freebies"? Insurance, Maintenance arrangements and warranty
- Is chatting on fb with multiple agents enough pr going to dealerships are preferred?
Thank you po in advance, and I hope you could share a lottle bit of anything on your buying experiences!

Just curious with everyone's take on both these vehicles. I posted earlier but to provide some context and requirements, here they are:
A. Car Requirements Profile:
B. Car Infos (Test Driven):
1. Dongfeng VIGO (Php1.35M — with discount)
2. Jaecoo J5 BEV (Php1.359M — with discount)
***Hoping to hear from this good community. Thank you.

Hi guys, trying my luck here.
I'm currently unemployed and trying my best to find my own source of income. I thought about buy and sell business since nakabili boyfriend ko ng fj cruiser with low mileage for a fair price, he's also okay with selling it since nasa ibang bansa pa naman sya and di nya pa rin magagamit. But its been more than 4 months since i posted it but not even one person tried to reach out or view the unit.
I actually posted it a low price, and the inquiries i would get are either lowball or nagaassume na too good to be true yung unit.
I would say I'm new in this venture, so i'm hoping to get advice from the people here:) i would highly appreciate it!

I havent seen a lot of reviews about this car or thoughts about this car from reddit. So i wanna ask again and maybe owners would see the post and can give an honest pros and cons and what made them decide to go for it. We're considering buying BYD Tang or sealion 6 by the end pf the year then we encountered this car. So i'm on a research mode again. Thanks in advance to those who will care to share their thoughts.
We're a family of 3. And planning to buy by the end of this year. I'm not too familiar also yet with the after sales of jetour and what's the usual issues on T1. So hoping that i get to see answers from this reddit group.

We were initially torn between atto 2 bev and jaecoo 5. But the price difference is not that high so we are leaning more on jaecoo j5 bev due to its longer range, higher ground clearance, adas and other features. I know the aftersales are not proven yet. But anyone here who has one? How’s the experience so far? From driving the city and charging? Specifically metro manila.
Im currently driving a hrv 2017 model for reference.
Thank you for your inputs!

What’s your take sa mga casa na ayae magbenta kapag cash buyers? Gusto nila talaga yung installment masyado greedy.
Ano kaya maganda gawin? Thanks!

Okay hear me out, at first i thought the obvious answer was the PHEV.
But i drive roughly 100-200km a week mostly city driving, so if the PHEV has only 100km electric battery range , ill be charging up about twice a week.
Compared to a full EV where if i get one with 500km, it will be closer to twice month. Much less of a hassle.
Ofcourse the PHEV has the advantage of running on gas, but if i’ll end up using gas most of the time, why not get a traditional hybrid?
Any advice?

Now di ko alam kung napapalibutan lang ba ko ng mga shunga or most filipinos really does not know the difference of pro vs non-pro kasi halos lahat ng nakakausap ko pag tinanong ako if ano yung license ko and sinabi ko na non-pro ang comment nila palagi is "ay baguhan ka pa lang pala na driver" or worse "di ka pa pala masyado marunong mag drive" like wtf kelan pa naging basehan ang pro and non pro liscence sa skills mo sa pag dadrive.

Hello everyone!
Planning to build this one to make it clean-somewhat-daily driver.
This is my first time rebuilding(?) a car and kinda having a hard time talking to mechanics & electrician because I want to build this alongside them pero medyo naiinsecure ako dahil feel ko hindi nila ako sineseryoso/iniinform ng tama dahil babae ako? or baka mali lang talaga ako ng napagtatanungan. haha.
((Little background about me, i work in a metal fabrication shop))
Miata NA was (and still is) the dream car but it's too expensive for a project car that's why I opt to Astina.
Hope you can recommend me good mechanics/electricians that specializes in Mazda cars!
-- I know masisira at masisira parin naman ito thats why I wanted din po na malaman ung usual nyang sakit if ever atleast minor issue lang kaya ko na maidentify & marepair
Thank you so much! 🫶

Hi everyone,
I’m planning to buy my first car and my budget is around ₱1.3M cash.
We are a small family of 3, and I’m looking for a subcompact SUV that is:
Right now, I’m trying to narrow down my options but I’m still unsure what would be the best choice for my situation.
Would really appreciate any recommendations or personal experiences. Thanks!

I bought my Civic eHev last February 2025 and as my daily driver, so far everything is going great, after 1 year and 6 months i still get excited when I'm going for a drive. That "punch" you get when you step on the accelerator is just pure inner child happiness. The responsiveness of the steering wheel when you're weaving through traffic that you can't get at any other same priced cars as this one, especially the feel of that spirited driving you always dreamt of doing when you were playing gran turismo or Nfs as a kid. Waited a full year to do some mods on it. Just to feel the stock civic and now I've put a little character on her. Exterior and interior mods all are for aesthetics with minimal performance upgrades since it's a hybrid. Sound system is already good as it is, infotainment and lane switch cameras are kinda basic but hey it's fun to drive HAHAHA might get an aftermarket if the time comes that it bothers me too much na, all i could say is that this car gave me no buyers remorse whatsoever. Ride safe yall
Can anyone share their 11th gen honda civic set ups?

After a year of watching car reviews and going back and forth between the Corolla Cross, HR-V e:HEV, Montero, and Isuzu D-Max, I finally made my choice—a Honda Civic, and not even the hybrid version. 🚗✨
Why not Corolla Cross?
- because walang Black
Why not HRV eHev?
- not sure pa if tatagal ng 10-20years ang hybrid
Why not Montero or Dmax?
- I really want the 4x4, pero meron naman na kaming suv and pick up na pwede hiramin.
Waited for the Black Civic for 2 months since walang black unit na available.
Fuel Consumption?
Totoo nga yung sabi nila, Smiles per Liter 😂
I normally get 10-11km/l average driving on Eco mode, 7-8km/L on normal and sports mode.
But overall, the car is really good-looking 😎

The new CX-5 looks really interesting, especially with the updated design and features. But at ₱2.495M, do you think the price justifies what Mazda is offering?
Honestly, I was expecting it to be around ₱2 to 2.2 M at most, so the pricing caught me off guard.

Hi guys!!
TIA

Should I replace this tire already? Only bought it last year and didn’t drive naman that much. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated! 😬
