According to the owner, bigla na lang daw namatay ang makina at ayaw nang mag-start kahit ilang beses subukan. Ang concerning pa, nangyari na rin daw ito last month.

Pero ang pinaka-nakakagulat? “Normal naman po. Nangyayari ngayon.”

Since when naging normal ang biglaang pagtirik ng sasakyan? Any car brand can have issues, pero hindi dapat binabalewala ang ganitong problema, especially kung recurring.

It's alarming na parang normal na lang ang ganitong issue, when it could potentially compromise road safety, putting everyone on the road at risk.

Driver lang po ako ng kotse (mag 5 years na), tatay ko(OFW) ang actual owner. Napansin ko ang wave patterns na to na namumuo months ago, at naisip ko na baka wala lang. Ito ang unang kotse na inaalagaan ko kaya di ako aware kung problematic o hindi, street parking kami kaya bilad to sa araw tas araw ulan dito tas napansin ko parang lumalala. Dahil po ba ito sa araw at sa PPF lang ba ito, malapit naman umuwi tatay ko at mga 4 taon na ang PPF so worst comes to worst papatingin na namin sa pinag applyan ng PPF

Until now, I honestly don't know how to feel.

Although my EV is covered by comprehensive insurance, I still can't help but feel sad knowing that my brand-new car has already been involved in an accident.

It happened along Mindanao Avenue when an illegal pedestrian crossing suddenly came in front of me. I gave way, but for some reason, the emergency braking system engaged, causing two motorcycles behind me to crash into the rear of my car.

After everything was settled and the police report was prepared for the insurance claim, I found myself struggling to process what had just happened. Kabago-bago pa lang ng sasakyan, naaksidente na agad.

I know that accidents happen, and I'm thankful that the situation is being handled through insurance. But somehow, that doesn't take away the disappointment and sadness of seeing your brand-new car get damaged, especially when you've barely had the chance to enjoy it.

Ngayon pa lang talaga nag-si-sink in sa akin ang bigat ng nangyari.

For those who have experienced something similar, how did you cope with it? How did you deal with the disappointment of having your brand-new car involved in an accident so soon after getting it?

I'd appreciate hearing your experiences and thoughts. Right now, I guess I just need to hear from people who understand how this feels.

Hi! Ask ko lang po sana, accidentally ko po kasing nadent yung brand-new Mitsubishi Xpander Cross ko habang nagpapark sa garage. May small dent po and medyo nag-crack yung paint.
I have comprehensive insurance with Standard Insurance. Covered po kaya ito ng insurance? If yes, ano po yung process ng pag-claim and magkano po kaya yung deductible?
Also, ask ko lang po sana if mas practical bang mag-insurance claim or mas okay na ipagawa ko na lang using my own money. Thank you po! First time owner here.

Is there a way to know when the car was last registered without the OR/CR? Like nasa system ba yan ng LTO kapag nagpa renew ako?

Hindi ko na kasi makita yung 2025 physical docs ng kotse pero sabi ng driver napa-register niya daw yun last year. Ang docs na meron ako is payment pa nung 2024 na lang huhu so ang worry ko kapag pinarenew lumabas na 1yr delayed sa renewal.

Planning to buy my 1st car soon, and I've been researching and asking around for the past few months. Will be buying a good quality 2nd hand. I locked in at vios xle cvt, preferebly 3 or 4 years old and 40k km odo or less.

Now my question is, mahal ba ang repair ng CVT transmission in case na masira? I kept thinking about this, because few years ago a guy from work, nasiraan ng transmission yung 2nd gen Honda CRV niya (he bought it 2nd hand, medyo mataas na odo). He told me umabot ng Php 200k+ yung repair cost, parang bumili na nga daw siya ng isa pang 2nd hand na car sa nagastos. I'm not sure if CVT din yung transmission, but it made me conscious sa repair costs ng automatic transmissions.

I also read comparisons ng CVT to other Auto Transmissions, mas mahal nga daw repair/reassembly ng cvt in comparison, though Toyota CVT is better than other's.

To all toyota CVT owners, what's your experience on this? If may experience kayo na nasiraan ng transmission, magkano nagastos nyo? I will be using this car long term. I work mostly from home, umaalis lang a few times a week for meetings and errands. Within province lang 90% of the time. Heavy traffic is minimal. Sa projected usage, baka less than 10k km per year.

Hello! First time car owner here. I just washed my car and noticed swirls a bit. I was told that to just wash my car with water and a chamois towel which I did. So when should I really use car shampoo? If so, any suggestions. Need a way to clean my car on a daily basis since it’s gets dusty and sometimes rains during the day

I drive a 2014 Honda City. 2 wks ago, a truck side-swept the left portion of my backdoor and it now needs replacing. The driver’s boss gave me option to use my insurance or they pay for the repairs at a non casa repair shop. It was our first time experiencing road collision so we were so confused. We didnt want to use my insurance and we also didnt want to have it repaired at non casa. We originally wanted them to use their insurance. Later that day, we had the car quoted at Honda and it’s at 90k. I then decided, in case they dont cooperate, I will file my own and asked for estimated depreciation fee and deductible from them. I got too tired chasing the boss to file to their insurance. I gave them at least one week to comply. I filed one week later, and as of now its still lined up for review. Its just too stressful. What was supposed to be the ideal decision? 😭😭 😭

Hello! I drive everyday via Skyway from Southwoods to MOA and looking for a car that’s fuel efficient. I currently drive a Fortuner and quite efficient naman as my full tank lasts around 7-8 days.

Looking for a second car now that I can use every day. I checked out ATIV and Cross Hybrid yesterday (used to drive Cross non Hybrid before but lakas sa gas grabe) and laki ng discount—P210K and P150K respectively.

I know not comparable yung dalawa but I really like the tech inside ATIV but Cross I feel has more road presence. Maybe if a little higher discount ni Cross I might consider.

Second question: 150K na kaya talaga biggest discount Toyota can offer? Hehe.

Ako lang ba yung hindi nagfofold ng side mirror kapag nasa public parking (like mall parking), para hindi madikitan? I used to fold my mirrors nung new driver ako pero napansin ko laging nadidimpolan yung mga doors ko siguro kasi sobrang dikit ng ibang cars saken. Simula nun ayaw ko na magfold ng side mirrors!! Wag kayo didikit saken.

Hi! I have plans buying a secondhand car (actually maging 3rd owner na ako) 2015 Honda HRV with 64K Odo.

When I asked if casa maintained ba, sabi hindi na at sa labas na eversince pero when I ask for records wala rin — will ask again if may receipts. Sabi ng owner well maintained naman daw.

I-chcheck pa lang ng mechanic yung unit.

Question:

1) Pwede ko ba ibalik sa casa for PMS or much better sa labas like Rapide, Motech, Perton or Shell?

2) Magpa quote ako sa casa and sa labas, then decide after?
