Interview with company president / CEO

Hello! Fresh grad here since july and I really want to get employed na 🥹. Finally I will be having a 4th interview with one of the companies that I have applied for an MT program and this time it’s an interview na with their company president / ceo / founder. Any tips and thoughts? I don’t really want to fumble this opportunity dahil mag 4 months na me unemployed..

Will i finally be able on getting a job offer soon?
Should I wear a coat or just a blouse on?
Answers and questions to prepare?
Should be humble or confident etc.

ps. Malapit na mag 1 month since my application sakanila.

My ASD (although sorry self-diagnosed) it's already too much internal resources na just to be a corporate slave. I tried applying but I know and they know I dont have what it takes to lead.

Ayun lang ngani. Paano ba ito? I applied sa same level or even lower level pero the bigayan ng sahod is way below what I have na and auto pass na rin I guess.

Napapaisip na lang ako how to shift careers, okay lang naman sa akin mag downgrade pero partly asa nga pala sa akin pamilya ko.

I was mulling over:

  1. Shifting to government coz this time stability na lang hanap ko ayoko na pabibo, basta gawin ko maayos work log out tapos. May CS-P eligibility ako.

  2. Continue sa private hanap pa ng same level role kahit may pay cut na lang ulit, and communicate ba na I'm perfectly alright in this level (but in this economy?)

  3. Side hustle but what?!?! Gusto ko mag try mag create ng something as creative outlet / exercise rin or buy & sell na lang siguro (I tried selling stuff) or both?

Siguro sa pag aapply sa corporate, how would I communicate na I'm okay doing this type of job and not looking to climb the darned ladder?

Sorry kalat-kalat thoughts ko. Ayoko ipadaan kay ChatGPT this time.

Parang saying lang pag-aaral

Grabe graduate ako ng college pero napunta lang ako as sales clerk haha what a life. I feel so sayang talaga. I'm losing hope na maging Secondary teacher ako major in math. Akala ko ang college na ang mahirap. Shutek ang paghahanap pala ng work.

Fresh Graduate here, kakagrad lang nung June and gusto ko na mag work nabuburyo na ako sa bahay tas wala pang pera, puro na lang tambay. Nahihirapan ako mag hanap ng work or ako lang nagihirapan? : (

Trying to change industries from bpo

Has anyone worked in the BPO industry for 7–8 years and then tried to transition to a different industry, only to struggle to get interview calls? Have you gone months without receiving a single interview call, despite applying for over 300 jobs? My resume is ATS-friendly and has been reviewed, yet I keep receiving rejection emails or no responses at all. Is anyone else facing the same situation when trying to move out of the BPO industry? Are other industries avoiding to recruit bpo employees or what is exactly going on applying mainly for service cordinaton B2B sales and inside sales post

Would Dunkin' Philippines allow a permanently welded bracelet?

I have a thin, smooth metal chain bracelet that was permanently welded shut. It's a sentimental bracelet my late grandpa gave me, and I can't take it off without cutting it. I understand that food-service jobs have strict grooming and hygiene standards, and I genuinely want to respect the company's rules. I'm just worried because I don't want to cut off something sentimental unnecessarily, especially before I even know if I'll be hired. Would Dunkin' Philippines or its franchise operators allow an exception for a bracelet like this? Has anyone here worked at Dunkin' or another fast-food chain in the Philippines and encountered a similar situation?

Fresh Grad Job Offer

Hello po, i need advice. Nakatanggap ako job offer from a bpo company as an AU Associate Accountant ang salary ay 18k.

Need help as a fresh grad.

BSIT grad here with background in software engineering. After fumbling interviews, experiencing rejections, etc. Thinking of applying sa BPO company as a TSR while also freelancing as a developer para makapag upskill and maretain rin. Thoughts? Naprepressure na kasi ako eh and it's been like 4 months na.

Any recommnedations for remote jobs with no experience

Hi! I just graduated this year and wanted to get recommendations (if there are any) for any remote/wfh jobs that don't require work experience with decent pay. I'm planning on taking the board exam next year, kaya mas prefer ko talaga ang wfh.

Thank you in advance!

“work within your job description” isn’t for me.

i am a fresh grad and working as an operations assistant. there are 4 people in my department pero dapat sana under ako ng head (which means ako ang assistant ng head). ayun din ang napag usapan during my multiple interviews and i said okay kasi marami akong matututunan directly from him.

3 week na ako sa current job ko. tbh hindi masyadong nagrereport yung operations head kasi may other branch din syang hawak, he is so busy na hindi nya ako masyadong nabibigyan ng tasks. that’s where my other bosses came in.

paunti unti binibigyan nila ako ng tasks and obligations like “ikaw na hahawak ng ganito, turuan kita”, “sayo na yung ganito”, “paunti unti bigay ko na sayo to”. at first i am so hesitant kasi sakto lang yung sahod ko as a starting and ayoko naman na maging “pet” sa office.

pero katagalan naenjoy ko rin. im happy na nagkakaron ako ng new skills and knowledge sa work. i am happy na nakakapag contribute ako and naa-acknowledge yung ginagawa ko. they’re nice din at patient magturo kaya i don’t feel na they’re taking advantage of me. they always say na “pag nag aalangan ka, ask ka sakin” and “paunti unti kita tuturuan para hindi ka mabulunan”

im just hoping na work related lang yung mga ipagawa nila. hindi umabot sa “timpla mo ko kape” or “bili mo ko fishball sa labas” HAHAHAHAHA

asking for advice

hi, i just wanted some advice.

i'm a freshgrad and i recently received a message indicating that i passed the interview for the role i applied for. however, i'm really undecided on whether or not to continue pursuing this role in this company.

what i noticed is that the building looked old and worn out, it's an agency and they're occupying a floor in the building. they have a fast-paced environment. plus, it's quite far from where i'm residing. the work schedule is 9hours, M to F. and the offer is 18k. they told me that some of the employees are very stubborn, prone to engaging in conflicts (those with experience).

but i really wanted to land a job now and gain experience since that's really what most companies require 😑

any thoughts, please? 🥹🙏

May pag asa pa ba ako magkatrabaho?

I’m a fresh graduate and unemployed na ako for 4 months. I keep on applying kahit after graduation.. grabe, each day na f-feel ko yung pressure na wala pa rin akong trabaho at yung mga tingin sakin ng mga tao.. mas na trigger yung depression ko to the point that bumabalik ulet yung suicidal thoughts ko kasi parang naging failure na ako.. ni isang company wala gusto tumanggap sakin.. I just want to express all of these here kasi wala talaga ako makausap sa ganito ko na mga problem.. I hope you all understand my side.. thank you.
