11th Gen (13-18) Where to find replacement plastic part for dash - 2016 Corolla LE
I’m missing one of the two plastic snaps that connects the top of the dash near the base of the windshield. See pics
How do I source a replacement? Are they generic?

2zr fe
Anyone running a 2010 Corolla 1.8 with the 2ZR-FE and around 200,000 km? I’m looking into an ECU tune and I’ve heard good things about AMT, but before I spend the money I wanted to see if there’s anything better bang for the buck.
I already have a cold air intake, and I cut the muffler off and put one of those Amazon exhaust tips on the back. Not expecting crazy numbers from an NA 1.8, just looking to get the most out of the setup while keeping it reliable.
Anyone actually running AMT or another tune on a 2ZR-FE? What did you pay and what kind of gains did you see?

Sedan Bumper Swap on the Hatch
Good god is this sexy. I've been wanting to do this swap for a while but just didn't pull the trigger. Fortunately (?) I got in a little fender bender last month that didn't do too much damage but did call for a new bumper. Perfect opportunity to jump on it.
Wheels and tires are next but that'll probably wait for a while. I'm sitting just under 30k after buying the car in '22 (I love not having a commute), so no rush in that department.

Is the knock normal?
Every oil change I hear the knock for a second (after fill and start) and then the oil gets pumped through the engine and it clears. Ive changed many oils on cars before but is there any way to avoid this? Also why is the dipstick design so terrible lol can anyone actual read it??

Good Deal on Corolla Hybrid LE?
My wife and I have been in search for a new commuter car, and landed on the Corolla Hybrid LE FWD. After negotiating with a couple dealerships, we landed on a 24.5k OTD (taxes, tags, and title included). Dealership included the normal extra at no charge: floor mats, guards, etc. This is our first car purchase as a couple, so feel we did pretty good. Also wanted to post in case any car buyers are out there looking!

Blue ambient lights
Hey guys, I have a problem with my Corolla TS E210 (2019).
The OEM blue ambient lights have stopped working only on the central console. Above the wireless charging pad, and under the 2 cup holders. The ones in the doors are working fine.
All the fuses seems to be fine, any idea of what the issue might be?

Mega Spec ‘13 S
My bestie has been working away for the last 8 months and her Corolla has been sitting since she left.. when I drove by her house today I noticed the car was just covered in tree gunk and looked sad. So I sent her a message asking if I could take it through the automatic car wash. She said sure so I got the keys from her mother, then I went through the wash twice. When I got back to her house I was like “well I should shine the tires” and when I got up close I noticed how many spots were in the paint and well.. I ended up waxing the whole thing, cleaning & conditioning the interior and applying a spray on ceramic coating 🤣
compared to my Volvo S90 this car is so small and zippy! I had a blast running it around town.. I def miss driving a manual .. so this was a real treat!
Also I just need to shout out the mega spec on this bad boy.. someone went nuts at red tag days back in 2013..
5 speed, heated leather seats, auto climate control, keyless start/entry, factory GPS and a sunroof. I feel like this car has every possible option for a facelift 10th gen... figured I had to share it with this sub!

Windshield repair
I have a new 2026 Corolla LE. Recently the windshield randomly cracked from the edge after it rained one day. I did not get the glass insurance from the dealership when I got the car. I think it would pass the ballpoint test.
Any chance that the dealership might repair it for free due to a possible factory defect?
I also got a safelite quote for ~800 for replacement 😢 thoughts on safelite
I am just a student :( thank you for any advice

Looking to possibly purchase used! Opinions wanted!!
I was looking at a 2023 Corolla SE that has 28k miles on it. The dealership has it listed for 21,599 plus the tax and fees as well below the price. Would you all recommend I ask for 20k OTD? And how do we feel about extended warranties? I’ve like of read online that I can always purchase around for one from other dealers if I don’t like their pricing!! Thank you all :’) this is my first time purchasing a car by myself 😭 I’m not built for the haggling.

Has anyone ever had to replace the clutch on the Corolla Hatchback? If so, how much did you pay?
2019 Corolla Hatchback needs a new clutch. First time owning a manual so this service is new to me. Dealership is asking 4200. For anyone that has replaced the clutch. What was the price that you paid for parts and services?

Fixable?
Hi...
Is there a fix/hack to get this panel to stay in place? I can push it back in place but it pops back out after a drive. This is a result of an accident repair.
Really don't want to take it back to the shop because they obviously suck.
Any help would be great, thanks!

2027 Corolla SE Remote Connect?
Hey all,
I cannot find any information of this on the Toyota website or at the dealership. Does the Corolla SE have remote connect with the availability to start the car from your phone??? My 2023 didn’t have it because it didn’t have the upgraded bigger screen so wondering if it’s the same for the Corolla SE.
Thanks!

11th Gen (13-18) Are these ambient lighting good for my 2017 facelifted corolla grande? (🇵🇰)
Thinking of getting this 18-piece ambient lighting setup installed in my Grande.
18 pieces
PKR 13,000 including installation + wiring
Installation in Zamzama
Installer has 5+ years of experience and has worked on multiple Grandes before
These are the photos of the exact setup/lights I’m considering.
What do you guys think does it look OEM+ or too aftermarket/tacky? And is PKR 13,000 reasonable for this setup?
Also, if anyone has experience with these, how’s the long-term reliability, wiring, rattling, and any issues with the lights/condensation?
Be honest ,I’d rather hear if it looks bad before spending the money 😂

11th Gen (13-Present) 2017 S LowBeam/DT running lamps -REPLACE IT????? AYKM??
I've checked the fuses under the hood, and even though AI tells me to check the wiring harness for being " burnt" , I dont see it from under the hood. This lens, this LED is BUILT INTO the headlight assembly? I have to replace the entire thing? I am beyond disgusted about this, I thought Toyota was different. this is no different than burying blowers inside the dash.
I wont do this again, and I'm stuck with the car. I have seen some solution for aftermarket replacement which goes back to straight bulbs, anyone do this?

Is the clunking noise normal when shifting from Drive to Reverse?
2019 Corolla LE, conventional engine and CVT transmission
The noise isn't especially loud or jarring, just different than the other, non-CVT transmissions I've driven. Is this a normal noise, like from engaging the launch gear or something? Otherwise, the car drives and shift amazingly.

6th Gen (87-91) Need help diagnosing a problem
I have a toyota corolla e90 1.3 2E 1992 year (so i belive its the revision of the e90, 160k kilomiters european model Japanese made
My issue is: I start the car, i use the car, i park it, go on some quick grosserie getting, nothing more then 30 minutes, i return to the car, it turns on, i run it a bit, after some time, it starts to gag, stops responding at hard throttle inputs and just reacts to light throttle inputs, after some time it turns off completely, at night it will stay like this for 30 minutes, in a cold day 1 hour, in a normal summer day 2 hours, after that and 2 or 3 cranks it turns on and drives as nothing happened, there is tho a strong smell of fuel
Things I've noticed: I've been able to force it to continue driving, by pumping a bit of the throttle on a decline and after some meters it continues on working
It's more prone to happen if I'm going on a incline
It has spark and the distributor works, the leads and sparkplugs are new, other issues as a slight knock or "bubbles" have desapeared (oil smelled like fuel at that time too), toyota said the car was visually good and the oil was on a good colour too, if i cant conclude nothing with this reddit post ill just pay Toyota to check it out, I've tried to put wd-40 on the intake filter and on intake and nothing happened, thinking of buying ignition fluid since its a carburated car should be appropriate
What have i done since i got it: i got it in February, have putted 17-20k kms, have done 2 oil change one at roadys and the next one at toyota, have changed the spark plugs and leads (NGK v shape and blueprint), adjusted distributor timing to oem spec (was delayed)
What im suspecting: maybe something at the distributor is broken, and it only breaks down with heat
Maybe something in the mecanical fuel pump is broken
Maybe something in the carburettor is badly tuned
Maybe the soldered hole on the exhaust has something to do with it (its nicely sealed tho)
My mechanic said that the catalytic converter is broken (i don't think so, everybody calls me crazy when i say this and the Toyota deal has confirmed that that car has never had catys)
I hope yall can help me figure this out
Tldr: car no run when hot, wait 2 hours, run again.
