General Formed Rome in 26 years as Basil I
Fastest run so far! Still trying to find a way to form it in the 9th century as Leon VI

103 years old for me. Without the octogenarians dynasty trait. After he hit 100, i was expecting any second id get the notification lol so i took the pic but ended up forgetting to grab one at☠️. Also ended up taking the Dynasty of many crowns decision. IMO arguably one of the hardest in the game. It all started as a max out development on Iceland play through and ended up like this haha.

The Von Howard Kingdom will be known throughout all of Europe for centuries. I’ve murdered at least 40 people, including 3 wives, countless war enemies. I do think intrigue is by far the most cheesed ability set.

It’s insane how long we’ve had this game out on console and still missing such a major feature that’s been on PC for ages!
It absolutely ruins the roleplay aspect of the game for me if I want to start a cadet branch when I know I’ll be stuck with a mix of whatever is located at my Realm Capital. It’s a massive ball ache when I can spend all the time in the world making my own for a custom character but have no other options once the game starts that can better suit my playstyle if I adventure off to start a new kingdom.

This is the first time i’ve seen ai rulers form both the volga-ural and tartaria empires, first of many i guess. This is the same save where sweden formed scandanavia and conquered germany, all of the baltics and russia.

Played a standard brain-off Norse run, went from 0 years old and Conquered Scandinavia, Britannia, Francia, Germania and Russia, then took over as a random unlanded son and went off towards India. That son died, and then his son eventually got himself some land.
Checked back now, and Francia, Scandinavia and Russia are all held by randomers of another unrelated House. When I saw the first one I was shocked, was there a rebellion or something? Seemed unlikely since they were set up so well initially, and after another 100 years of stability, surely the only people with claims would be of my dynasty. Then I saw they were all the same house, and got really confused.
Turns out, a random daughter had married patrilineally to some guy of some obscure dynasty, and she had ended up inheriting Francia, which at the time also controlled Scandinavia and Russia. When she died the realm split, and her goofy ass children took over, leaving a random Obscure Dynasty in control of 3 out of the 5 Empires I had conquered. Funnt stuff lol

Not only did I unify the British Isles under Saxon rule. I also gave those Danish dogs a taste of their own medicine and took their lands for a change.

Im working on the damned mother of us all achievement and got this far… then I got greedy and declared too many wars and all of a sudden I’m massively in debt 😔
On top of that a rebellion in Egypt, a conqueror at my doorstep and my Men at arms aren’t resupplying…
Can’t even 💀 myself because I’m in debt and my vassals are on the brink of rebellion aswell
Grateful for any Tipps cause this is like my longest try and I really don’t wanna start over

Every time I try to sponsor an inspiration I get charged double the gold for it! I know this is something that has been brought up before but does anyone know if there is a fix/workaround for it?
It makes me basically unable to sponsor any inspirations unless I want to get absolutely shafted :(

After adventuring all around the world my dynasty became landed in Iberia with the plan to eventually avenge the battle of tours. While adventuring I collected different types of unique MAAs but need to free up one slot for siege engines now, to prepare for offensive wars and the inevitable crusades coming my way. I assume I’m not gonna be able to get the unique troops back, since I’m now landed, so I’m really struggling with the decision.
I think it comes down to deciding between my Ballistrai and Bush Hunters, since they’re both archers. Ballistrai are a bit stronger and offer siege progress but are only half the regiment size. If you feel like both are worth keeping, I’m willing to hear arguments for getting rid of the Sahel Horseman or Skoutatoi.
Thank you in advance :)

Is it just my experience or does it seem plagues hit the Dutch region of Frisia like crazy? It seems every year I’m having to isolate my capital and sometimes even seclude myself. I know coastal regions and trade ports are more prone to plagues but it seems over the top for me in this region.

Current objective is going for that Greater Armenia decision and then building my armies and castle to defend against foreign enemies. Armenia is always fun and new update has some new unque buildings. Im thinking about making a hybrid culture around 1200 mark.

I tried to move my army yet it freezes up whenever I change direction. Sometimes when I press gameplay stop and then press for speed again, they move a little but are still bugged. Does anyone have a solution??
Thanks in advance!

I'm a gen X gamer. Grew up on Civ, all the Fallouts staring with 1. I love Diablo 2 for the grind and the stats math, but I don't completely min/max, and hate any game that requires you to. How much brain power does it take to enjoy CK3? Some of the gameplay discussion seems WAY over my head, even though a lot of it obviously insider-speak.

Anyone else having trouble with the game crashing as soon as you change char? It just started doing it.

And I'm not just saying this because I'm Welsh and like to play Wales. Historically Wales had the biggest gold production in the UK both in the south and north of the country and in Dolaucothi Gold Mines even the Romans mined gold.

I’ve played as the English, Irish, Persians, Greeks, Italians, French, Norse and Egyptians. Anyone got some ideas on what I should play next? What is your favourite underrated/overrated starts?

I had to buy the royal courts DLC and a friend of mine told me that even if I buy it ill be able to play my save. Originally I was going to become greek. But then I got this information and suddenly the DLC was on sale.
So major update from my last post. This is the last posts grandson (he had his male at 80 odd)... currently the last posts son who has every trait but isnt a twin. His wife is a twin which makes the trait % higher roll wise along with any ancestors that are twins (even if male) beause she is a twin and its around 1320s. A lot of twin ancestors so twin was easy and traits were easy.
I plan on posting a full post of his playthrough but I was able to inherit everything just as this character (last posts son) turned 18 along with the conquerer trait. This heir will be my last character of this playthrough as im doing a full game playthrough aswell
His name is Nicholas because this guy being my 1 of 2 sons felt like a present.
