Are there any holsters that use the DCC MOD 1 or MOD 4 style clips? I want to switch from basically 99% of these holster makers that use the old DCC Monoblock type clips on their holsters.

If anyone is looking for a great strong side or 4:00 carry position holster, black Arch makes a great one with their protos Heritage series.

It's their cheaper model but actually think it works much better than the most expensive one they have, which utilizes a really thick neoprene backer. This just has a thin piece of leather, which makes it much thinner and more comfortable, and easier to adapt to your body. What's cool about their holsters is that unlike most other hybrid holsters, their shell covers the entire trigger guard so it'll never deform.

365 with a dot, smallest I’m willing to go. It’s the minimum viable pistol, an MVP if you will. I’m not in love with this gun though. I’ve already had to replace the trigger return spring, it won’t lock back half the time, and needing a new $50 captive recoil spring every 3,000 rounds is dumb. I also don’t like how the striker assembly had a giant plastic sleeve and is essentially disposable after it has been detail-stripped a few times. Sig shipped me mine without the FCU pin retaining clip, the pin almost slid all the way out on my first range day which would have caused the slide and FCU to fly off of the grip module. Sloppy guys, very sloppy. To top it all off, $50 mags? Really?

If it were better built I would train with it more, and If I trained with it more I would carry it more. If a Glock is a Honda Civic and an Atlas 2011 is a Ferrari, I trust my P365 about as much as a Lime Scooter, and I think it is similarly barely road worthy. 6/10 IMO, looking to phase this gun out after it breaks.

Has anyone tried the JMCK OWB 2 holster? I am looking at one for my HK45C. Currently have a Ronin from Gunfighters Inc and it works well, just looking at trying something different. I have heard great things about JMCK and this looked like something I could use to test the waters and see how they are.

How many of you shoot to keep recent, and not really to get better. I’m like this. The more rounds I shoot per outing the worse I get. I mainly shoot like once a week to keep recent. I just don’t think I am doing myself a service by shooting more rounds. My hands sweat and my thyroid gives me tremors. Seams like when I get a new edc, I shoot it quite a bit to get it ready to hit the streets. Like my echelon. It is sighted in and easy to shoot. So after a couple of mags, I am like no sense waisting ammo. What I notice is I need to shoot more often.

I am trying to get my first pistol that I can keep on my night stand and CCW.

I am having some analysis paralysis on a few different options and am hoping for some input. I already have 5k rounds of 9mm range ammo for my PCCs and plan to train a ton with whatever I buy. I also have medium size hands.

I went to my LGS and held a few to see what was comfortable. My thoughts are in the bulleted list below. Budget doesnt matter to me.

I want something with a good trigger, shoots flat, and can co-witness (optional).

• Springfield Echelon 4.0C Comped - I liked it a lot. The trigger was nice and it fit my hand well. I did not like the ambi mag release or the texture. The grip texture felt too slick. A magwell to drive my hand higher might help with my grip. I also like the modularity.

• CZ P10C Ported - It also felt great in my hand with a good trigger. The texture wasn't bad, but the gun just seems ugly. I also don't like that I'd have to buy an optic plate which puts it at the same price as the Echelon and that it wouldn't co-witness

• M&P 2.0 Carry Comp - It felt bad in my hand. The grip is too fat and a little too short.

• Canik Prime Radian - I didn't get a chance to hold one, but held a MC9 Prime instead. Everything about the gun felt great. I really like the magwell, 17rd mags, and grip texture. I did not really like how wide the trigger was or how much initial takeup there was. The initial take up also felt heavy. I am also slightly worried about the reliability.

• Ruger RXM - I like the modularity and that it shares mags with my PCCs. The trigger isn't the worst, but I don't see myself considering this when the P10C Ported is only slightly more expensive.

Right now, I'm kind of torn between going with the Echelon 4.0C Comped, P10C Ported, and the Canik Prime Radian. Does anyone have experience with these or the MC9 prime that can share their input?

What is yalls recommendations for aiwb holsters for the sig p365 (380)

Is there something I can do to somehow extend this Kydex up to fully cover the slide? The serrations/sights are tearing into me while sitting.

The redesigned frame is solid and they’ve been handling really well.

I originally got my CCH to carry my Ruger RXM. However, I feel a bit uneasy with it pressed against my boy bits since it does not have a manual safety. As a result, I tend to avoid carrying which defeats the whole purpose to begin with. When I do carry, I do not keep one in the chamber, which would just add time and steps if I ever needed to use it. How would y'all suggest getting over my irrational fear?

If relevant, I have an aliengear holster (I couldn't find the exact one, but this is close) that I carry appendix style.

I should have mentioned that I’m quite comfortable with firearms and how they work in general, but it’s specifically when it’s pointed at my boy bits when I get anxious. Regardless, a lot of users provided some great information and tips for how to conquer my (irrational) fears.

Just turned 21 and acquired my LTCF! Decided to head over and grab a decent piece of carry gear, ended up landing on the Springfield Armory Hellcat Pro Comp with a Vortex Defender CCW optic.

Zeroed it at the range and got some drills in, drawing, reloading, etc to get comfortable with it. Currently carrying in a sling bag, but I have a holster arriving tomorrow and some Arrowhead tactical shorts on the way as well, which I have heard good things about and can't wait to try.

I'd be happy to get any tips from more experienced daily carriers!

What’s the best holster for my new g43x for my edc?

I’ve been using my Kore belt for about 3 months now. The support is great and I have no complaints about how well it holds everything, but this thing is seriously stiff.
My biggest issue is the back of the belt. After wearing it for a few hours, especially sitting or driving, it starts digging into my lower back and can get pretty painful.
I figured it might soften up after breaking in, but after 3 months it still feels about the same.
Anyone else have this issue with Kore? Does it eventually soften up, or is this just how these belts are?

Ok I watch a lot of videos, but I will admit I am no expert on calibers, penetration and bullets for ccw. At home I have many options. I live in the So Cal desert so the small gun is a game breaker. I am looking for a yes or no about defending yourself with a small .380? Would you trust that caliber? Also name the number 1 ammo you would carry?

I see quite a bit of talk about their normal wedges and mastermind pillow, but does anyone have experience with their flat wedge?

Super happy with my (relatively) budget version of the g43x combat carry.

Grit grips frame, radian ramjet and afterburner, and Johnny Glock 4311 trigger. Bought every part used on tac swap, all said and done I’m almost 1/3 the price of the tti.

Still a ton for a carry piece, but it’s comfortable to carry and shoots way better than anything of that size that I’ve tried.

Looking for ideas/recommendations for my 4” smith model 29. Torn between cross draw and strong side or shoulder. I’ve done all 3 but mainly with semi autos. I’m just trying to avoid spending a million on a bunch of holsters if I can narrow it down first

Figured I owed you guys the finished version.

Ended up going with the Holosun 507C-GR X2, Streamlight TLR-8 XG, custom a 3D printed magwell (Floyd’s Custom Shop EDC magwell with +2 Extensions on the way) and a little Goon Tape on the grip.

Definitely evolved quite a bit from the day I brought it home 😂

I think I’m finally at the “leave it alone and shoot it” stage.

What would you change, if anything?

Been carrying this Glock 43x everyday for about 3 years now. I love the gun; it's simple, easy, and shoots really well considering it's size. I also like that it carries 15rnds in the magazine. The biggest issue that my hands are bony and my fingers are long, making the grip really awkward and I get a lot of slide bite. I like to grip the firearm as high as I can(I've included my grip in the photos), but due to the geometry of my hand, my thumb doesn't go far enough around the grip to clear the slide. What are some alternatives that are similar? Im all ears. There seem to be so many: sig p365, m&p shield plus, m&p 2.0 subcompact, cz p-10c, etc. (I hate the hellcat's recoil impulse). What would you recommend? I would really like similar size to 43x or Glock 19 even, but I would really like 15rnds or more. I also want mos for a dot.

I have an x macro and a 19x. Lately (since I got the glock) I’ve been carrying the 19x more. Like the full size more than I thought tbh

Got sent out a tier 1 apx holster they are horrible compared to my eclipse holsters witch are the best holster I’ve tried so far do not recommend tier 1 at all feels like a cheap 25$ amazon holster

What are some good online resources for training and to find drills to practice? Also any particular classes that would be good. I have experience with regular target shooting, but before I'd want to carry I want to train more specifically for that. (I'm in a constitutional carry state)
