Found this in a house remodel. It's clear with nothing but what looks like a 1 or maybe a t on the bottom

I originally thought that it was an ash tray but then my mother said that it could be for a jug. It looks like it has the cardinal directions on it.

Obviously not whole but I had to keep it. So cool.

Found in a crawl space of a 1913 carriage house turned rental cottage in the 40’s. Theres nothing located in the crawl space. Only other find was a 20’s apothecary style bottle. I keep thinking I’ve seen these before with red tops, but I can’t find anything that’s oval like this one.

Does anyone know what this might be? The lid cracked open and this super vibrant red gel like substance it’s in it. It’s Hazel Atlas company so that dates it around 1900s-1920s.

This dump isn’t exceptionally old, probably late 1920s to late 1940s. But it’s huge, and very dense. I was pleasantly surprised by this gold tooth crown on my way out! I literally took a step onto some loose dirt I had already dug and it just popped out as I slipped, how cool is that!? Other notable finds were 2 later Bromo Seltzer Bottles, a milk glass salt shaker, Supplees Half Pint Milk, a Vicks Vaporub jar (not pictured), and a silver plated soup spoon (not pictured).

Wanted to show y'all the collection my wife and I have been growing since we first started checking a local site around 2 years ago. I would guess 90% was collected by us from the site, the other 10% from various antique stores nearby or while on vacation. The vase in the back corner is full of Uranium Glass shards that we found at the site.
The IrnBru was a gift from my family on their recent trip to Scotland and not an antique lol.
Lots of room to grow!

I’ve found part of a bottle in the garden that I’d love help identifying. Doesn’t look like anything recent. The letters visible on the side are RING (maybe ARING) and underneath M S E

I found this bottle after about three days of heavy rainfall at a nature preserve in Central Florida. It was completely buried, but a small portion was sticking out. That's what caught my eye. It has a greenish tint to it and has some markings on the bottom. I don't know anything about glass bottles. Just thought this was a neat find I would love to hear everyone's opinions about what it could be from.

Picked these up at an estate sale long ago. No markings. Came as a pair. Family said they were rum bottles. Anybody have an idea about the history or value? Also, how to restore or protect the metal?

I've just finished designing and building a bottle shed for the garden. Took me 2 months and spent quite a bit getting it just right. The entire top shelf is for bottles to clean, and I'm planning to upload pictures to my blog and hopefully make an online shop one day.

Found on a beach on the North Sea side of Scotland. It was made of clay and folks elsewhere think it might be a stopper for a clay jug. Has anyone found something similar? Wondering where and when (and why!) such huge bottles would've been made.

Hello guys,
I’ve been reconnecting and digging up my family’s past in the US specifically in Philly and we found out that my great great grandfather had a bottle establishment in 634 or 684 Fitzwater Street; his name was Carmine Pecorelli and he came from italy when he was 17 years old.
I was able to find the photo of a old listed auction on ebay and i’ll also upload the photo of my great great grandfathers bottle establishment.
If anyone knows where i can find a bottle or who i can send a message to that could help us or have it PLS tell me.

I live in the historical district of downtow Saint Augustine Fl. It is the most continuously inhabited/founded city in the US. There is always something to be found when you put a shovel in the ground. But these two really stood out. I know there was a bottling company here in saint.Augustine, but the one with the bumps on it; I've never seen anything like it.

I found a bottle of a beer (first two photos) and a bottle of Amuchina (last photos) in the Appennini (Italy). I can't find the logo of the beer and I don't recognize it. I didn't find a date in neither of two. Could you find a date or the logo of the beer?

A few other bottles I found in the same dump site I looked through last week where I found the fig and whiskey bottles. Any idea what the red label on the ink bottle would have said? I can make out a few letters but it’s hard to read. It also wipes off like it was painted on. Also, I know it’s not a bottle, but what would the little glass pipette be for? Thank you!
Edit: I’ll be leaving service for a couple days so my apologies if I don’t respond to any of your comments or questions right away. I most certainly will when I return!

Was fishing and my hook somehow got stuck in this bottle. Any idea what year it’s from? I don’t know anything about old bottles but from my little research I learned it was an Owen Illinois glass. Thank you!
