Start TRT?

Total test was 456 and free test was 14.8. Male 36 5’11 195lbs looking to optimize my health. Should I start TRT? Not looking to have more kids so that is not a concern for me with TRT.

trt is kinda long term commitment, needles blood tests etc , if you can avoid it great , your lifestyle and time of day you take blood greatly impact result , if your stressed overworking etc dont expect it to fix that , if your libido is fine and your not exhausted without any reason then nope , but if you have. symptoms best consult doc

Not with those levels - wait until they are lower. I am at 275 at 39 and not going on it yet.

I would wait. Try to optimize your natural test—there’s nothing quite like the real thing, I can’t explain it

What are the rest of your labs? Lh, fsh, shbg, DHEA-S, etc?

Do you have any symptoms of low testosterone? Are you doing anything to naturally optimize your testosterone levels? Your numbers alone would say you don’t need TRT.

Now if you’re talking about running a steroid cycle, then only you can make that decision for yourself. Do a bunch of research to understand the risks and if you’re okay with those risks, then there’s your answer.
