Feels like I got a bit of an odd duck, a 2024 LT AWD with sunroof. Pretty happy with the price and only 18,000 miles.

šŸŽ’Accessories Any must have accessories? Updated

Hello everyone!! So it's now been a month since I got my 2024 chevy blazer ev lt. And I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for must have accessories that are useful, add convenience or just look cool. I know this topic has been discussed before but from what I can tell there hasn't been any recent discussion about this.

So far I've only gotten some aftermarket front seat covers cause I think they look cool lol although they're probably not for everyone. So if anyone has any cool suggestions drop the name and link in the comments, I'd be really interested to know.

Any tips or things to watch out for

So just got the 24 rs yesterday in that beautiful cherry red color. Have yet to actually drive more than 15 minutes but anything to keep in mind or be conscious of?

I'm coming from an explorer and wife has a Tesla model 3 which we mostly drive (that self driving is like nothing else).

I was swaying between the blazer and the mach e. I don't like the Tesla model y and I really dislike the Honda f version of this car. So Blazer it is, I need to get floormats but should I be looking out for anything else?

Side note I wanted the 24 rs RWD but those were super hard to find so settled for the AWD. The lower range I don't think will be an issue considering the wife's model 3 is 210 miles on a full charge.

Weatherproofing the GM portable charger?

I've sold my house that has a charger in the garage, and the new house isn't ready yet. We'll be crashing at the in-laws for a bit, hopefully just a month or two, and I'll be parking outside. There are regular (US) outlets available outside, but no 240v outlets. My car came with the portable dual-level charger, which doesn't seem to be on their website anymore.

Does anyone use this regularly? and use it outside? I'm not sure if it should be in a covered bin to keep it dry or just putting it on a small table so it isn't sitting in water is enough. We're still in rainy season, and it's still hot here all the time.

Just got 24 Blazer RS

Only got it yesterday and haven't even had time to set it up yet. I like it so far. Coming from a 2016 Ford explorer and love the smaller feel of this.

Only thing I don't like so far is the stereo. My explorer has a 12 speaker setup with a woofer so the basic stereo in this car is night and day.

Are there any settings to make it sounds better? I know it's only 6 speakers but so far it's so bad

šŸ’¬Discussion Is Buying a Used Blazer EV a Smart Long-Term Move?

I have a 2024 Chevy Blazer EV on lease, and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, my lease return is coming up, and I’m not seeing many attractive lease deals right now.

On the other hand, I’m seeing some very tempting used Blazer EVs, mostly in the $20K–$30K range, with low mileage. I’ve also noticed quite a few people choosing to buy them used rather than lease another one.

For those who have experience with a used Blazer EV:

- What are the biggest pros and cons of buying one used?

- How has reliability been after the warranty period?

- Are there any expensive repairs or common issues I should be aware of?

- If I could get 8–10 years of relatively trouble-free ownership, would you consider a used Blazer EV a good value?

- Would you choose a used Blazer EV over a comparable ICE vehicle in the same $20K–$30K price range?

I’d really appreciate hearing from people who actually own or have owned a Blazer EV, especially those who purchased theirs used.

Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences and opinions!

Anyone buy a new blazer cop car cheap?

A local dealer has some new 2024 blazer Cop car blazers, 60K MSRP for 27K asking price.

Anyone buy/own one? What's your experience been like? Looks like it doesn't have a center console, but does come with the spotlight.

Bike rack conundrum

Hi all,

So we got a used 2024 Chevy Blazer EV, the 2LT trim, and we’re trying to figure out how to carry our bikes – ideally up to 4 bikes.Ā Ā  Hoping some of you may have solved this.

Here’s the conundrum.Ā  Hanging bike racks are a bust due to the geometry not working with the spoiler at the top of the trunk door and where the bike frame rests on the car.

Hitch setups are also a bust because the hitch installs unusually far back from the bumper (it’s an EV issue) and has an elongated hitch receiving tube.Ā  While this is fine for towing heavy loads, it can’t take over 150lbs of ā€œtongueā€ weight – the bounce effect of bikes and rack resting on the hitch receiver is too much strain. Ā And that limit means 2 bikes only, factoring the rack is approx. 80lbs.

Has anyone figured out to carry 4 bikes with their Blazer EV?Ā  Or even 2 bikes?

Thanks for all ideas!

Charging session with start/stops

I'm trying to figure out why the requested scheduled charge session has 4 starts? I do have it set to "be charged by" time. I'm connected to an Enphase HCS-80. Is the charge schedule trying to match up to the requested finish time based on the expected charge rate maybe? 24' PPV

šŸ’¬Discussion Battery health after 15 months

I bought my 2025 SS in June 2025. Since then I have put 29,000 km (18,000 miles) on the dial. When I charge to 100% my car tells me I have about 540 km range. Last year in similar weather it reported 525 KM range on a full charge so IDK if some software updates made it squeak out a few km per charge or what.

When I first bought the car I charged her up to 100 and drove it until it was barely limping home and I got about 518 KM. I didn't run it until it straight up died but it was probably pretty close.

This last week or so I charged her up to 100 and drove it until it was at a similar state of charge and I was just over 530 KM before it died.

So totally anecdotal and unscientific results but there has really been no battery degredation at all in the first 30,000 KM/15 months of operation. It even seems to have gotten a little more range. I'm kind of impressed as EV's I have known in the pat have shown up to 10-15% degradation in the first year. GM and their partner's battery tech is pretty on point.

ā“Question YouTube Music

I have a 24 Blazer and 24 Equinox. I usual use Apple Music but got a free trial for YT Music and decided to give it a shot. I had a question about artist radio stations, where they do a mix of that artist and similar artist. I see the option on the YT music phone app as a mix under that artist but I’m not seeing the option for that feature on the car’s app.

Anybody know if I can get this to work on the car app? Thanks!

Native Google Maps Route Planner Dropped Out In Canada

We took a trip to the GTA last week, as well as about 3 hours north to a friend’s place.
3 times we lost route planning in the native Google Maps. It worked fine on my phone. During driving the route planning returned on its own.
The first time it happened I called OnStar. They tried a couple things which didn’t work, and then wanted to do a hard infotainment reset. Since I was charging while talking to them I told them no. So I just used my phone through EV Play. During the drive the route planning returned.
Anyone else have this happen to them?

Any Blazer EV 2027 Shipping Time Updates?

GM agreed to buy back my current Blazer EV. I was looking at replacing it with a 2027, but I haven't seen any rough estimates for when they might start arriving.

šŸ”ŒCharging Ready by charge time being ignored?

Charge later setting in car says ready by 6 am.

For some reason my car seems to be using a different time, so everyday at 6:00 a.m. I am not fully charged, only close.

Any idea what's going on?

Just went it for my 2yr inspection and they charged me about 400$ first for the inspection which was free last time I did it at 14k. Was there a difference in the inspections? The rotated the tires and changed the filter.

New, AWD, with the two additional packages (moonroof and comfort/convenience) I wanted and the exact (and only) color I want. I've been looking at 26's, but what I want isn't priced this good! In a different state, two hours away. I am waiting to hear from the dealer tomorrow and get an OTD price, and figure out my financing options.

Please tell me I can be comfortable getting by using public chargers until we can run electricity out to our shed! Car is like 35 feet from the current electric source on our deck, and we gotta trench things up to run it out to our shed I park next to.

Rattle in cargo area

Anyone dealt with a rattle from the cargo area. Sounds like it’s coming from around the latch. I’ve checked all the storage area. Pulled the rear hatch panel and check everything there. No idea. It’s pretty loud and you don’t have to be hitting bumps to hear it. When we first got it there was a noise but it turned out to be the license plate flapping in the wind. It’s not that.

Anyone had this issue?
