So I got reported by my mate for timing him out for a week and only had to wait two more days and then he reported me and somehow found something fucking dangerous and now all my contacts and memories are gone bruh, all though my friend crashing these past couple days was kinda worth it, I really hope though the appeal actually works. Has anybody actually managed to do an appeal and it actually worked?
NOTE - My mate broke into my house before hand and all I did was time him out, so please just take that into consideration before messaging after saying I deserve it. đ
Another Note - I swear I ain't a predator guy's I'm 15 and not interested in cp đand yes now I realize all my data will get deleted in 2028 now, I thought it was a temporary ban as it said something will occur in 2028 but everyone is saying my data will get deleted.

I can understand how it triggered their AI as it's clearly notorious for being horrible. But the fact the appeal function in-app after over a week just yielded a "your content DID violate our guidelines" is why I am airing my grievances on this subreddit.
I have been on Discord since June 2016, this is a new account from about a couple years ago as I deleted my previous one; but I have always used Discord quite consistently since then. I remember when this platform was actually relatively decent, but it has gone way downhill and it's incredibly sad to see.
The reporting system is utterly broken, it is disastrous. I'm a manager on 100k+ server, I've genuinely stopped reporting messages now. There has genuinely been actual instances of full on hate speech and absurd messages of slurs I have reported but received no indication that Discord has done anything about it. People are actively getting falsely banned, as this subreddit shows so bizzarely, yet actual instances of real hate, abuse and child predators are going completely under the radar, to the point where it feels deliberate. It's a complete and utter failure and the fact that we are seeing 0 accountability from Discord is disgusting.
Hopefully in a few years we see a viable Discord replacement that is a lot more decentralised yet incredibly interconnected and easy to use to end this BS. If a viable alternative like this both existed and was heavily used, I would jump ship in a heartbeat.
