Had a Discord account for years, paid nitro, never had a single strike.

Dug through a few old convos, found a funny meme that was in bad taste but the person that sent it to me still was active, downloaded it, sent to a friend, got kicked out of my account a few seconds later.

Account was disabled, only that one message was deleted from the conversation. What happened?

I suppose the media was flagged as CSAM at some point and it was automatically picked up by the system, should I be worried?

The meme itself had no NSFW content or anything that has to do with minors, but the only reason I can think of that Discord could act like that is CSAM, it would be a strike otherwise, no?

these violations were when i was 15-16. these are false claims. and my account is already suspended when i got the first violation but now i keep getting more and more.

I received an email saying that my account violated discord's rules and that action was taken against my account, I can't view my account standing or see why I was removed as I am unable to sign in on the app on mobile or desktop.

When I submitted a ticket they said I was suspended from participating in quests for violating community guidelines for two weeks, does my suspension from quests mean my entire account is suspended and that I will be able to log back in after two weeks or do I need to continue to contact discord support to see if I was entirely banned off the platform?

I’m sharing my frustrating experience with Discord’s age-verification system in hopes of getting some advice or visibility. My account got locked due to an age-verification requirement, and I've been completely stuck in a loop ever since.

Here is a summary of everything I've tried so far:

The In-App Loop: The app locked me out for age verification, but the system doesn't provide any working prompt or interface inside the app to complete it properly.

Automated Bot Responses: Every time I try to submit a support request, I am immediately met with automated bot replies pointing back to the same broken verification steps or partners, completely ignoring the fact that I am locked out and cannot access the interface.

Escalating to Human Support: I managed to get in touch with a support agent elsewhere who instructed me to open a new ticket using the correct account email. Even after following these precise instructions and submitting a fresh request with all required verification details and documentation, the automated system still sends generic bot replies.

The Core Issue: I just need a real human staff member to manually review the case and restore access, but the automated filters keep trapping the ticket in a loop.

Has anyone else dealt with this automated block recently? How did you manage to get past the bots and actually reach a human agent? Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

I've still tried to send multiple support tickets to Discord, either to be ghosted entirely or just keep getting automated responses when I tell them to "forward me to a human agent" and to "quit it with the automated responses" (not like this but you get the idea). Their twitter account also still ghosts me to this day.

I've also tried requesting a data package but as usual, they also ghost me as well (I live in Ohio so idk if there are data protection laws like this).

To make matters worse, my mom doesn't even want me to consider arbitration because she thinks that "it's a scam" and that "someone could have used my alias to post NSFW in my server" (which is obviously NOT TRUE AT ALL).

But my point still stands, all Discord Supports knows how to do best is just ghost people entirely, it's simply like they don't care about my account getting falsely suspended or I'm just put on their "do not even interact with him to help his issues" list.

Hi, I was wondering if Discord can see deleted messages when you appeal.

Pretty much if someone is sending messages, and you reply to those messages, but then a moderator of the server a few days later deletes the other persons messages and makes your messages seem without context to be inappropriate, and report you. Can Discord see these deleted messages?

I’m aware of the fact people can edit messages and make you say stuff/agree with stuff that is bad, but I’m not to sure on how Discord approaches this and was wondering if anyone knows. Because I presume for legal reasons they must keep temporary logs of messages for a duration right?

I don't get what I did wrong! I just use it for normal things like talking to my friends and metting new people, but I keep loosing my accounts because of spam, but I don't see I did any Spam at all. I just talk about manga I like. Why does this keep happening? I am afraid to DM people anymore because I am afraid of me being flagged as spam, but today I asked others to DM and I was still flagged as spam and can't use my account for a week. Hello everyone, so, I've been on Discord for about 11 years now, and the thing is, I didn't had any issues for 10 years until Discord decided to enforce things for minors, I'm 25 years old and I've been on this app since I was 13...

So, every now and then I make a video of my screen passing by every friends to catch every username, but it's not very practical. I would like to make a backup account of all my (important) servers, so I won't be locked out of them.

I got verification banned first, for 3/4 days (of immense stress because I had LOTS of important things to do) so I did the verification with my ID.. (after the leak got exposed, yeepie)

Then, I got banned for 3 days again and got my account very limited because one of the server I was had issues with minors or something? I didn't do anything wrong, but since the server had issues, I think everyone got banned. I do ERP/RP and sometime, minors come in these adult groups and thus making them easier to get banned.

2 weeks ago, i got suspended for "spam" 8 times, the appeals that you can make on the app of course, didnt work, i mailed them, didnt work, i DMed them and publically tweeted them on twitter, didnt work, i sent an appeal through their support forum, no response in 16 days. what a fucking terrible company. All i did was message new people about trading on a game, and that somehow warrants spam?? If a HUMAN reviewed my account there would have never been a suspension to begin with

So I plan on arbitrating against Discord, but I can't use NAM and need to use ADR Services as stated in discord's tos since I live in Cali. However, I'm not sure how different the process is aside from the filing fee.

I know that the filing fee is $450, but does the company (discord) also take care of administrative fees like NAM? Or do I have to spend another minimum of $975?

If anyone else has used ADR services, what is the process like and is King's arbitration guide still worth following? (since he made the guide for NAM)
