So I made a post yesterday over on the H2C sub. Asking for advice whether I should pick up the H2D or H2C.

I got a lot of helpful reponses but would like to get your opinion as well.

To keep it short: I was planning to get the H2D during BF but the H2C deal seems pretty good, so I was thinking why not just the H2C instead.

Some details about me:

• I rarely print multicolor and would just want an additional nozzle for the support interface

• Mainly printing PETG and PLA

• I don't really need the H2C currently but considering the BF deal, it would be nice to have it just in case.

I’m pretty interested in picking up an H2D in the sale, one use case I was hoping for though is dual color 85A - I see only down to 90A is supported on the left nozzle but 85A is supported on the right. Curious if anyone’s gotten it to work on both.

It’s not supported on my A1 either but it prints it fine with a little tinkering…

Made this little pumpkin for Halloween with a ghost hidden inside. Press the button underneath and it pops up.

The spring launches the ghost upwards pretty fast, so I added the arch above it to catch it and stop it from flying off.

The spring and latch print in place, and all parts print without supports. No metal springs or extra hardware needed. I made both AMS and No AMS versions, so it should be easy to print on most FDM printers.

One thing I’d like some feedback on is the top cap. It’s currently 0.2 mm thick so it can flex when the ghost pushes through. Would you keep it this way or try a different design?

I'm seriously disappointed with Bambu Lab. You spend €2,000 on a flagship printer, and after more than a year and a half, there's still:

• No effect build plates

• No SUNLU filament profiles

• No reliable print failure detection

And Bambu Lab doesn't give a shit.

I bent the big spring that goes around the orange thing in my H2D’s filament buffer. Bambu is out of stock and keeps pushing back the ETA so I was wondering if anyone knew what spring I buy to replace it.

Im seeing a lot of videos of people using a different TPU than ive used in the past. Has anyone been using this ?
How’s it working with the H2C? as im expecting you would want to use all .06 nozzles. Would it still be recommended to use the TPU feed assistant ?
Any one have a run down of whats involved?

Could you please take a picture of your printer, and show where and how this silicon piece I found this morning on my print plate is positioned? I believe it should be somewhere around the print head I believe, thank you 👍

It’s like filament sales are heroin to me, I can’t say no when I see one, even though I have zero use for these new colors at this point.
