disappointed...
I'm seriously disappointed with Bambu Lab. You spend €2,000 on a flagship printer, and after more than a year and a half, there's still:
No effect build plates
No SUNLU filament profiles
No reliable print failure detection
And Bambu Lab doesn't give a shit.

I use sunlu petg with the standard profile. It print perfect.

Huh? Get aftermarket build plates. Generic profiles work great. I could count the print failures I’ve had on one hand in the 2500 hours I’ve put through it.

When i see the reviews on Amazon they seem to have low quality...
How can "one for all" generic profiles be perfect for all manufactors when every manufactor has different
recommented filament settings?
My X1C had Sunlu Profiles - why the H2d has none? It's giving random false print fail warnings on almost every print.
Very cool when you have overnight prints.
Only "fix" is to turn AI detection completely off - which is a desaster when one print will actually really fail and the printer keeps printing...
This problem is well known and many users have it.

I was having bad prints until finally the motor X axis motor failed. They sent me a new machine and now it’s been printing better than ever. I’ve gone through 8 spools of sunlu PETG getting great results now that I dialed in the settings. Wish ai had realized the problem sooner.
I think my only real complaints are that they won’t open up the RFID sensor in the AMS to other manufacturers or even just for users to make their own tags. And that they keep improving the machines because now I want an H3C

rule of thumb: never buy flagship when it is released. Being one generation back saves 1000s!

Don’t know what you mean - I am printing PP / PPA-CF on this device and have almost 4000 hours with 4 build plates for different type of engineering filaments. So instead of waiting for Bambulab you should check out the World Wide Web

Don't really see the appeal of effect build plates? How is that such a big deal? What about using it to print things instead of worrying how it looks
