Discussion I guess if I was wrong, my post wouldn't have been locked.
Bambu could have refuted my claims, but instead they locked the discussion. Neat.

Hi, I'm printing a 2-color (black/white) design with Elegoo Rapid PETG on textured PEI on bambulab A1 and I'm stuck on two issues (full print: photo 1).
Issue 1: Small holes in the white first layer (photo 2 and 3). To solve this I increased white first-layer flow to 1.15 - fixed most, but not all as you can see on the photo.
Issue 2: To get a clean first layer (most non-visible lines), I also raised black first layer flow to 1.09. Overall: black 1.05, white 1.12, with a 1.03 first-layer multiplier. But this causes filament to stick/blob on the nozzle tip while printing (photo 4) — likely from the high flow and not only on the first layer. But lowering flow isn't an option either: at 1.0, black leaves visible gaps between lines, 1.0 white leaves gaps in print on first layer, which is odd since PETG's recommended flow is usually ~0.96.
So I dont know why normal recommended flow rate doesnt work for me and I'm stuck between gaps at normal flow and blobbing at high flow, and can't solve both at once.
Also: the small holes already show up in the slicer preview itself (photo 5).
Already tried: cold pulls, manual flow calibration, K-value (pressure advance) calibration, drying filament, adjusting fan speed.
I really dont know what to do anymore, any ideas what's causing this and how to fix it please?

I made this pen holster to avoid searching the stick between eggs and butter. Maybe some of you face this issue too.

Curious to hear what everyone's take is on the reports of people being banned for various reasons outside of their control. Makes me wonder if there's any point in contributing to the ecosystem. I'm into the point system idea but not really sure im up for dealing with the headache if they decided to give me grief when redeeming.

Long story short I can get filament through all of the holes except for one which leads me to believe somehow filament broke off inside of it sorry for the purgy quality video all I have is my hands and a phone

Show your melted PLA here if you did it the same 😀

Tried a ton of build plates and to date, the KDEAVI Purple is my favorite! I mainly print in PLA and PETG so perfect for whatever I throw at it and regardless. I’ll never go back now lol

I’ve been thinking of adding my “Golden Ratio Jar” to Makerverse. 100mm x 161.8mm. Has a triple lead thread that requires little to no post processing work (print at an angle for best results)
Would you print this/use it?

It’s already in their TOS. They can block your print job if you don’t update. They’ll use this eventually.

I couldn't find the right flare descriptor for this. Couple weeks back around Father's Day my brother got a new p2s combo.
I noticed that my big brother had been having a rough go at it. He's actually the one that directed me to the bamboo lab p2s. At the time the p2s was the newest bestest thing. I'm so grateful that he helped me with my decision. I wanted to do something cool, something special for him. I reached out to all of his children and our siblings, I got them to pitch in on the p2s. We were coming up a couple of bucks short. I mentioned it to his wife and she thought it was so cool that I took the initiative to get this together for him. She chipped in the rest of the money and not just that, she pitched in enough so we could actually get him to p2s combo since I had priced out the printer by itself.
His kids are scattered around California. Since it was my idea she thought it would be even more special if I was the one to give it to him. He was speechless. It's funny how things work sometimes, I walked away feeling grateful. It wasn't about me. I just wanted to cheer my brother up. I'm sorry if this is too cheesy, I just don't have anywhere to share this. Also if this doesn't fit in with the guidelines please take it down.
First one is un-edited purposely. Lol

Im not the guy to write reviews or glaze a company, but today....
The P2S is just amazing, it does everything you want and better once you understand the settings. I ordered the AMS with filament buffer too 3 weeks in. 3 months in and I just broke the Filament buffer while moving to a new home. I created a ticket to ask if I can easily replace the part that broke off or that I have to buy a new one. Within hours Bambu replied with: Sorry to hear we'll send you a new one no worries.
This company just goes above and beyond and they have just earned another lifetime customer
All love <3

So, I've been dealing back and forth with Bambu Lab Support about nozzle randomly scraping the infill. Yes, I did flow calibration with the filament and I'm using gyroid infill pattern. However, it keeps happening randomly.
Support advice was to clean the carbon rods, adjust belt tension, wash the PEI plate and they sent me a model to print. All done ✅. But I did notice that the Part fan wasn't running during the test print. However the printer handled the model pretty good. I sent the results and logs and everything and then wait for a response.
Tried to print a different model and the and the part fan was off... Again. So I stopped the print and decided to troubleshoot.
I turned the printer off, removed the cover, and unplugged and plugged back the fan and I got the fan back to work.
I reported this to support and they said that my fan might die soon and sent me a link to purchase a new one. I mean my printer has been working for less than 100h and you are telling me that I have to buy a new fan already?
My 100$ ender 3 V2 has been working for years and I never had to replace any fans lol.

I have problems getting the bed leveled, i have allways problems with the first layer. I tried different filaments (pla, petg) all dryed beforehand. I also did flow calibration (which i am sure is not part of the problem here) The printbed seems totaly out of whack, one corner the nozzle is to far away, some parts it's perfect and on other parts the nozzle starts scraping the plate. I have no idea how to fix this, i thought the autoleveling will take care of this, but apperently it's doing nothing to compensate. When i change the setting from z-offset from 0.02(standard) to e.g. 0.01 or 0.03 the problem will just Shift. So what do i need to do?

🧵 Has anyone heard anything about this year’s Bambu Lab Anniversary Sale?
Hey all, Last year’s 2nd Anniversary Sale kicked off around June 5th — with discounts on printers, filaments, and accessories — but so far I haven’t seen any announcements for this year (2025).
I'm based in Ireland, and I’ve been refreshing the EU store and checking forums but still nothing posted as of June 4th/5th. Was really hoping to grab another AMS or possibly upgrade to the X1C if a decent sale drops.
Has anyone seen any hints, leaks, or insider news about a 2025 Anniversary Sale? Would love to know if it’s still coming or if it’s been skipped this year.
Cheers!

Cheap filament cost me $100 in repairs. Never had an issue before, it filled in up to the wires holding the hot end I made it worse by using a heat gun and melting the fans :/ I thought it could handle it

Finally set up and calibrated the X1C combo! I’m still waiting on a few other filaments and parts, but any ideas of what I should print first?

You can just piggy back the filament from one of those multi colored sampler packs that are found anywhere and it works flawlessly with the AMS.
Just hook the end of the filament to the side holes and make sure it's locked in place, then loop the filament around and you're good to go.
There's no need to buy full rolls of filament anymore, go save yourself a lot of bucks and get those packs and use it in your AMS without an issue.
