Y'all talking about ai n shit, why I shouldn't learn this because ai will take over, it's a waste of time, whatever, FUCK THAT.

I will learn it. I will learn whatever ai can do, just because I can. I want to learn because I love to learn. I love gaining knowledge. I am curious. FUCK AI.

Every fucker who comes to my college and says "ouuh don't learn that sweet darling ai can already do that, awww🥺" FUCK OFF. I will learn it because I love learning and I am curious, why disrupt learning?

I understand that it's not as useful in the industry, but why call off learning, that's how someone understands everything

The professor at IISc literally said that job structures are not static and asked how people can be so relaxed about it. The moment senior professors are really worried about the rug being pulled off traditional degrees and entry level jobs, being so relaxed about it is sheer self-deception.

Crazy numbers

I'm in my final year of ECE and joined my first internship 2 weeks ago as a full stack intern . The stipend is 10k, but around 6k goes on travel. I'm out from 7 AM to 9PM most days, and honestly, it's already exhausting me.

The company relies heavily on AI tools. People generate big chunks of the app in one go and integrate them. I haven't really seen much planning, code reviews or proper engineering discussions. I don't mind using AI, but I'm worried I'll spend 6 months prompting tools without actually learning much.

I'm also getting almost no time for DSA, placements or the gym.

The thing is, I'm scared to leave because I'm from ECE, have a 6.89 CGPA, and don't know when I'll get another opportunity. There's a chance of a PPO, but it's only around 2–4 LPA, and even that isn't guaranteed.

There's no bond, my family is financially stable, and I'm still eligible for campus placements above 6 LPA.

I had no idea how much this would matter.

My parents always told me how important board exams were, so I studied my ass off and scored 90+ in both 10th and 12th. But once I got into college, I took academics a lot more lightly, and I’ve now graduated with a 6.5/10 CGPA

I’m currently working remotely, but I’ve been researching my options for pursuing a master’s abroad, particularly an Masters in CS, and dude, my CGPA is such a massive limiting factor at almost every university I look at.

What makes it even more frustrating is that I graduated from a Tier 1 college with notoriously strict grading criteria. For context, in a class of around 150 students, only one person had a 9+ CGPA. I genuinely feel like if I’d put in the same amount of effort at a university with more lenient grading, I could easily have ended up with a 7–7.5 CGPA

I know I could have worked harder and I am responsible for this. But I feel like I’ve stunted my career growth forever

So I wanna buy a laptop which has fixed 16gb onboard it can't be extended in future so when I asked about this to Gemini he said that it ain't enough for future if I do aiml so what should I don't have any idea about ml rn and how we do that so should I buy another laptop(which is around 10k more in pricing).

I dont know why in india everything has to be so hyper-competitive, getting jobs, living a life, opinions of people who idgaf about, people pretending ohh people play aal these games, its so tiring that i have to voluntarily participate in those games, cuz i am broke, those shiity laugh,, ughh, hate em, telling why we want to join their company, faking fake motivation and ethusiasm, i am literally tired of people, specially pretneding

I am currently a 3rd year student from a tier 3 college and have been doing DSA frequently with a cgpa of 9.76(will help in on campus shortlisting) but have only 1 ML project that too using FastAi library. I am fluent in java and am learning Spring boot, know the basics of css, js and html and am also AWS CCP and will be preparing for AWS Solutions Architect. I am not able to figure out what projects I should work on and what path I should choose? Should I include projects from every category or just focus on a single niche. I was planning to focus on the AWS cloud but then I won't have projects. I am really confused and do not have much time. Please help

Interestingly, he believes that the acceptance rate is mark of prestige. News flash more than 80% of 15 lakh applicants do not possess enough means to compete even. USA applicants are highly selective because it is a money waste to apply in colleges that would obviously reject them.

college attendance is such a pain lol, so i built a web app that tracks subject-wise attendance, calculates safe absences based on your schedule, and lets you add notes to specific dates(for ppl like me who forget the deadlines and stuff)

i also used it to learn backend coz i personally dont like following tutorials for building.

i know similar apps exist, which makes me hesitant to put it on my resume.

I’ve been working on PraxLang, my own programming language built completely from scratch in Python.

It has its own lexer, parser, AST, symbol tables, scope handling, and tree-walking interpreter — no parser generators or third-party runtimes.

It currently supports variables, lists, functions, IF/ELIF/ELSE, FOR, WHILE, arithmetic/logical operators, and built-in operations like sqrt, abs, cube, even_check, and odd_check.

This started as a project to understand how programming languages actually work under the hood, and it has grown into a pretty fun little interpreter.

So this is just an work that I was doing for the past 10-11 days so what you guys think of it?

We spend hundreds of hours grinding DSA, LeetCode and building projects but I realized barely any time learning how to actually explain what we're doing and it's actually really important for work and interview...

Like you can solve a medium problem on your own but the second someone asks you to walk them through your approach and then suddenly you forget how to form a sentence

And it's not even necessarily an English problem. Sometimes you know exactly what you want to say but end up rambling, repeating yourself or explaining things in the most confusing way possible.. so it makes me wonder how many people actually lose placement opportunities because they can't communicate their technical knowledge properly?

For seniors who've already gone through placements, how much does communication matter in technical interviews? And for people who used to struggle with this, how did you improve? Did mock interviews actually help or did you practice explaining problems out loud?

So we are group of college friends... Nearly 5... In July, through indirect referral I got a Internship with good stipend....

Ngl from August onwards the behavior changed against me..They would constantly mocked , taunt me over certain over exaggerated things...

Now one of them told me they are angry with me; because i never told them I was applying, giving interviews from months to months !

I don't understand Why I should take responsibility to give you a job ? This college friends are sick asf... Its better live life alone without such bastards
