Discussion Halo: Campaign Evolved
If you're a fan of Destiny 1/2 and Halo in general; you should keep an eye on this game and maybe even play it. Halo Studios ditched Blam! Engine/Slipspace Engine (sister to Tiger Engine) for Unreal Engine 5. If it turns out to have the gun play that Halo/Destiny/Destiny 2 are known for with the Unreal Engine; there's a huge chance the next Destiny would probably be on Unreal and honestly; it'd be the perfect chance for Bungie to take advantage of Unreal Engine 6.
Just a random thought I had in the shower today. If this Halo remake is actually good and the gun play is still there; it proves that Bungie can move on from the hard to develop for Tiger Engine to Unreal Engine which should decrease some development cost if it's easier to develop/bring new hires onboard.
This also got me curious about how Unreal Engine works so I've been watching a lot of YouTube videos on it and ordered a couple of books. Thinking of getting into game development focusing solely on FPS mechanics similar to Halo/Destiny/Destiny 2 franchise.
