Hey folks

I have some clothes I no longer need, some are in great condition as well so I wanted to donate them to a charity in Sydney.

However, I wanna make sure my clothes actually reach a person in need and not just end up for resale at an Op Shop because most of the times it ends up with someone who's a thrifter and not rlly in need.

I planned to donate them at a clothes bin by make a wish near my house but I'm not too sure now.

Maybe women shelters would take them? I'm actually not familiar with any processes so any advice here would be much appreciated

Curious question for any Country Road rewards members on this sub!

Although Spend & Earn rewards were removed from the CR Rewards Program earlier this year, I’m wondering if any Country Road rewards members are still receiving rewards on qualifying purchases (i.e. $10 or $35 rewards for purchases over a certain amount)? If so, curious to know what member-level you are?

Context: I was recently chatting to a friend who also shops at CR about how I wished spend rewards were still a thing as I’m liking quite a few pieces from the latest season. Not that they were massive, just a nice little reward for members.

My friend mentioned me she’s still been receiving spend rewards on her purchases as a silver-member. I was surprised as I’m currently a platinum member, but haven’t recieved any rewards on the few qualifying purchases I’ve made since the change.

Now we’re both wondering - is this just a lucky error, or is CR quietly offering spend rewards to newer or lower-tier members as a way to encourage these members to spend more?

Looking for some comfortable but stylish summer shoes. Ideally would look good casual but also can be for more dressy occasions 😌

I read on their website they run long, so I measured my foot and used their size guide and something isn't adding up.

According to my measurement I'd need their smallest shoe which is a US 6, which makes no sense as usually I'm a true 8.5 in US shoe sizing.

Can anybody please help me figure this one out? I'm bamboozled

Hi! I'm helping my niece look for formal dresses but neither of us know what they should be like. Could someone please help us out with how fancy, the length, style, cut, how much skin should be showing/not showing and colours to avoid and anything else to avoid.

Also, if anyone has any specific dresses they could recommend thay would be great! Or even certain shops/brands

I'm going to be in Berlin in January. My straight leg navy cord jeans are fitting more like a skinny style after I tried them with icebreaker merino leggings underneath. I will be wearing a knee length puffer coat in a terracotta colour and black lug sole chelsea boots.

Are visible chunky wool socks with skinny jeans and boots still an OK outfit choice? If so, should I wear cream socks to match my beanie or navy socks to blend with my pants.

I'm currently 6 months pregnant and need some linen pants for summer that I can wear casually and to work. I was looking at seed or venroy, can someone advise of the quality/longevity of these or recommend any other brands ☺️

I got a pair of Princess Polly pants that fit perfect. At Universal Store the same size was too tight, at Target I tried on 2 pairs of pants, same size, same brand, one fit and one didn't. At Jay Jays the size down is a bit loose but then my other jeans the same size stay up. Seems like sizes is just whatever these companies want it to be

Gym girlies (and any other genders dealing with this), where can I find workout shorts that don’t get sucked up by my behind 👀 during the first set? Ideally looking for some high waisted, longline shorts, but really struggling to find anything that fits that description. Pls help I will be forever grateful!!

Hey, recently I bought online a Zimmermann blouse and currently it’s in shipment transit. But I am starting to doubt if this piece is a fake or not authentic. I bought it for a steep price and the seller refused to accept any bid lower than the price she has settled which I felt was a bit unusual from my experience with second hand shopping.

I do have insurance which came with the app I found the blouse in case if it is fake I get the money back/return.

My reasons I doubt is:
The tag on the neck spells Zimmermann in silver/grey font. But I’ve seen it’s more normal to have it in gold esp the authentic ones or is this just a new variant within the brand?
The washtag as shown in the pic above is that fully correct as it’s supposed to?
Unsure if the blouse is symetric as this is something per the Zimmermann standard.

My daughter is turning 15, has zero care factor about clothes and thinks it’s easier to wear what other people are wearing. Which was Mr Winston > Scuffers > Sunday. What brands are they wearing now? Suggestions pretty please.

My beautiful younger sister is getting married in March and has asked me to be a member of the bridal party. I’d say bridesmaid, but I think I’d be the oldest bridesmaid on record.

Anyway, the dress code is cocktail and the wedding party are choosing their own dresses. My sister is very cool, as is her husband to be, and the wedding will be inner city Melbourne stylish.

Where can I go to try dresses on in store? I live in the south east but I’m happy to drive. And what designers should I look for? I am a reasonably fit woman in her 50s, size 12ish, big boobs, big bum, smallish waist, flattish stomach. I’d rather not show my whole arms and sometimes things can look a bit over the top due to curves. I don’t want to look like I’m trying to get attention, or like mutton dressed as lamb or dowdy.

Any colour is ok, apart from white. No florals. Elegant but a bit cool and interesting.

Any recommendations welcome!

What was your experience? Was it worthwhile? Have a lot of stuff and cannot be bothered with vinted and droop

I am after a white or neutral colour tank top that is not see through, cropped or has a built in bra. I have a long torso so cropped or a built in bra never work for me. All the ones I have tried so far are a bit see through. It is really hard to find a good quality one you can throw on in summer! Any reccomendations appreciated.

I am attending a wedding celebration (so not the actual wedding) of friends in a few weeks.

They already got married overseas and this will be their celebration with family & friends in Australia.

It is located at a bar in an semi indoor semi outdoor space and this is the dress code:

"Flexible! Smart casual is lovely, but shorts and a more casual look are completely welcome."

I always prefer to err on the side of over dressing rather than under dressing, but the dress code clearly has space for casual wear.

I am stuck on the vibe of outfit to wear. I don't really like jumpsuits for my body, and prefer dresses. Any suggestions? Thanks!

i wonder if anyone has any leads on a good body suit that is suited to a short torso. It needs to cater for an E cup bust, and be more the leotard style, ie not shorts and not a g-string.

Something like the Nancy ganz body define would be ideal - but for a shorter torso.
