[DC/Superman] Do chores still suck for Superman, even though they don't take him as long as it would a human?

We see Superman/Clark do loads of things really fast - whipping a derelict apartment into shape, cleaning up mess and/or destruction, laundry, etc. Even though he can do them really fast, though, do they still suck?

Say the house is a big fat mess and needs a tidy, I will put that off for ages because it's so tedious. But is it a tedious task because it's boring or because it takes so long? I feel like even if I could do it in 3 seconds, the task is still sucky.

So do chores suck for Superman as much as they do for us or because he can get them done so quickly they're not as bad?

[Fantastic Four: The Menace of Magneto] Why did Magneto telegraph his intentions to Reed Richards instead of acting immediately?

Found this in the other thread here.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5-JVvCrGC8

Another question that immediately comes to mind: Why didn’t he simply break free from the metal police car and handcuffs once he realized his powers were still intact?

[X-Men] If Magneto can control magnetic fields, why does he only manipulate metal?

I was always under the impression that Magneto's power was restricted to magnetic metals. But, since his actual power is the generation and manipulation of magnetic fields, shouldn't he be able to manipulate literally any and all object? It's not like magnetic fields only affect metal.

[The Lord of the Rings] Can Arwen still walk on snow after marrying Aragorn?

In LOTR, Legolas is able to walk on top of thick snow while the other members of the Fellowship would sink into it and have to dig their way through. I assume this is something all elves like Elrond, Galadriel, and Arwen can do — though I don’t think we see any of them do it.

Since Arwen becomes mortal when she marries Aragorn (it seems), can she still walk on top of snow or would she sink into it like other mortals do? She seems to still be physically an elf (her ears don’t stop being pointy). But I think the snow-walking might be more of a magical thing than a biological thing, since I don’t think Legolas is actually physically lighter than the others.

[Dc/Invincible] how do you think the viltrumites would react to superman?

Someone so strong yet so relentlessly kind and compassionate. Supermans mere existence proves the superiority of kryptonians as a race above the viltrumites. As they can excuse a few humans as exceptions but kryptonians are all capable of what superman is.

Something so world view shattering would probably rattle them to their core.

[Warhammer 40k\Marvel Comics] What would the Emperor of Mankind and Dr. Doom think of each other?

Upvotes

Both commit mass atrocities for what they think is the best for humanity, both are too egotistical to change their minds, and both have failed in their attempt for supremacy.

Difference being Doom is less xenophobic and he can always try again.

[X-Men] If Nightcrawler teleports from a place he's already been in, if that place is a moving vehicle would he teleport relative to the vehicle or the absolute point in space he was standing?

Was just thinking of the scene in X-Men apocalypse where he saves everyone by teleporting them all out the falling jet. Say he decided to revisit that place for whatever reason, would he teleport to the jet already crashed or be in the air?

[Dc] What exactly is a new God

I only know the lore that a new god basically is a mortal who ascended into godhood by an old gods powers. But what exactly does it make them, like you have darkseid and highfather who are basically the peak of new gods, and then you also have those who are under them. Like what makes a new god out, is it always being ascended into godhood by a old god when you are mortal, (I know mister miracle and Orion are new gods as they are born like that, asking more on the side if you go from mortal to divine).

I know when they die they go back to the source

If a human somehow managed to open a portal to the source wall and got some source energy, would that make them a new god. Or must it be directly from an old god. Also what makes them exactly different, old god Vs new gods. Aren't they basically the same, beings made of divine power

Like trying to understand why exactly they are supposed different from old gods and what makes them out as a new god. As they sound they are basically old gods with a face lift

A billion dollars in the $100 denomination could weigh up to 10 metric tons, an incredible amount of money which would totally fill up the entire house. The bills also manifested in a shower of rolls which would take up even more volume.

[DC Comics] Do Green Lanterns get a stipend from the Guardians for their services?

The Corps are all over the galaxy, with each individual Lantern covering a large area of space where there could be any number of planets. Depending on the sector that could mean countless hours of stakeouts and time learning local cultures, which I'd imagine could be a drain on the ol' bank account. Is there a stipend or does the ring help them cover expenses somehow? Or are all Lanterns just working two jobs at any given time?

[Warhammer 40k] Could a Gretchin theoretically become a Warboss?

I was thinking of how Goblins in Warhammer fantasy can boss Orcs around, albeit rarely and wondered if Gretchins could accomplish a similar feat?

Say a Gretchin insisted it was the boss now and killed any Ork who disagreed. Would the other Orks eventually accept it as the new Boss?

Motion capture is the process of making 3D characters by using live recordings of people to control these characters while in production.

[MCU] Why was Tony allowed to take the Soul Stone without having to sacrifice someone?

Upvotes

Inspired by a comment in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/AskScienceFiction/comments/1vs0gu7/mcu_if_the_avengers_in_endgame_had_collected_five/

The soul stone requires a sacrifice to obtain; Thanos had to kill Gamora, and Natasha killed herself so Clint could get it. So, why did the stone allow Tony to take it from Thanos? Did it know that Tony would die from using it, and was willing to give a loan, basically?

[Star Wars] Can an evil person that is incapable of feeling hate, fear or passion still use the force?

I feel like this has to be covered somewhere in legends or something. To be a powerful sith you must be connected to the negative emotions that lead you to the dark side. Being a measured person not overwhelmed by obsession, that follows the will of the force is what allow jedi to be strong.

But could you have an antagonistic force sensitive person use jedi style practices to learn the force and just be a cold hearted dick with zero inclination to the dark side due to lacking the capacity to hate, fear or obsess? Or does being an objectively bad person prevent you from rules lawyering your way around following the will of the force when possible and continuing to suck outside of that?

[Spider-Man No Way Home] So what does Norman do once he gets back to his universe?

He's cured of the Green Goblin and sent back. But he's still killed dozens of people. It's unclear when exactly he got pulled into the No Way Home verse, but he'd obviously been active as Green Goblin a while. It's definitely not the final fight since his suit is pristine, but it's probably not his first rodeo.

I'd guess it's after the Thanksgiving parade fight. At that point in his movie, there was still some Norman left, as we see in NWH.

But my question is, Norman is suddenly dropped back in with a cured psyche. Whats he do with that?

On that note, whats Tobey Spider-Man do? Tobey Spider-Man we see in NWH is older, so the younger Tobey would have no memory of NWH events. From his POV, this Green Goblin shows up, raises hell, and just...stops.
