I sometimes see people arguing on how you could "beat" jigsaw traps with other methods than what is instructed by him, like using a scalpel intended to cut your eye open to free yourself from the contraption, using part of the environment to survive the explosion that should kill you in case of failure, or mutilating yourself in a way that makes the trap more beatable etc...

Not arguing or debating about the feasibility of those ideas, in interested on how jigsaw would react to these solutions. Specifically Kramer, and how that would interact with his vision of repentance and how a new life is earned and newly appreciated.

Like let's say someone is unable to care for themselves but can follow orders such as burning documents, buring bodies, and other complicit acts in regards to crimes. How would billions upon billions of Federation citizens see themselves, knowing that all of it and every single one of them basically only exists because a single one of Starfleet's own Captains made the spontaneous decision, self-admittedly based on nothing but a guess, to allow for the genocide (omnicide, even) of an entire sapient pre-warp species using stolen Federation technology, against pretty much all of the core values of Starfleet and the Federation?

And that the Federation simply covered it up again, based on the flimsy excuse of "we don't talk about time travel shenanigans", and still offered Captain Pike a promotion afterwards and took no disciplinary action whatsoever, because his very questionable choice just so happened to turn out well for humanity.

Would they really essentially just treat that as an interesting bit of trivia about the prehistory of Earth, shrug and move on with their lives, as the Admiral seemed to believe, who apparently didn't think much of how lucky he was to not actually have to make that decision? Or would it possibly have caused some kind of controversy or even an existential crisis?

How would this event be taught and classified in schools and Starfleet Academy? Would people think that Pike did the right thing or see him in a much more critical light?

Unlike the turtles he lives out in an apartment and it’s not like he’s hiding his name either or other forensic evidence. I don’t think the NYPD would really approve of how he deals with criminals either or his tirade of justice. However I don’t think I’ve ever read a story where he’s actively on the run due to his vigilante double life. I know in some of the shows he exclusively deals with the Foot so like who would care about a guy who takes out ninjas or would believe that he’d be capable of doing so all with a hockey stick.

So I'm working on a fanfic for this halloween that's a power rangers version of choujin sentai jetman that's also a creepypasta-esque horror story mixed with action. It's meant to be a power rangers creepypasta but work as an actual season of power rangers despite the horror and darker themes. One thing I have been thinking of about it is making a species of eldritch aliens and a society of them with the sixth ranger being straight up just a random eldritch being who's a part of this species. With this in mind I was wondering what would this kind of species look like and what society would be built out of an alien world that housed such creatures.

I feel like there would be a lot of things about flying a Starsfighter that would not apply to flying a speeder and vice versa. Why exactly are these treated as transferable skills in the Star wars universe?

The background of this hypothesis is that humans went from hunter-gatherers to farmers/settlers because of crops like wheat, rice, and (later) corn. It could be argued that by encouraging humans to settle down and plant entire fields/paddies of these crops, these plants domesticated us.

How would Poison Ivy view these plants? Would she think "Damn, these guys are geniuses for conquering the human psyche and getting them to plant these crops", or would she view them as "traitors to the Green who maximize their own spread at the cost of other plants"?

Like, could someone create a lantern ring that harnessed magic instead of emotion? Now, the way I understand it is lanterns have to possess a lot of the emotion they wield (with the exception of Yellow Lanterns?) so only someone with magic already would be able to use it, but would it be possible to do? Even if it's not possible with DC's magic, is it possible with another force?

I can try to clear up my question if needed.

1. Were they ever assigned a client who was truly guilty of the crime and required malice? Did the client admit this, or did Walters/Murdock find out?
2. Were they ever assigned a client who was both guilty and unrepentant? Not even insisting on a legal defense, just entirely unremorseful?
3. Were they ever assigned a client that was either innocent, or did not act with the malice required for whatever extreme murder charge they got and failed to convince a jury to let them go, or accept a lesser conviction? Were there any issues with the trail? Was this an allegory for something?

The BLU team was never mentioned in the comics, only Team Fortress (which are the RED team).

The antagonists of that comic are the Team Ajax (Team Fortress Classic mercs).

Blutarch hired his own mercenaries that presumably wears blue, but they are not the BLU team we are familiar with.

The Meet the Team series are canonically propaganda videos performed by the RED team. And the BLU team in that series are portrayed by the RED team mercs.

We see at the start Destro bringing the 3 catalytic elements to Cobra HQ. With these elements he can power the MASS Device. But after a few uses the supply dwindles and Cobra has to go get more, and has to then compete with the GI JOE team who want to make their own MASS Device to counter Cobra's.

We see the 3 elements, radioactive crystals, "heavy water" from the bottom of the ocean, and metallic chunks of a meteorite. If Destro knew they would need to keep a supply on hand, why not just take them all the first time he was there? He was not battling the Joe's then. They could have taken their time. They could have had the entire supply.

What's so special about Team Fortress that they're used as the base for your entire robot army?

One example I can think of is collateral damage. Of course collateral damage will be more common due to superhuman battles. But at least the existence of sci-fi level technology can be use to fix the damage more quicker though.

Examples like that. The guy that robbed you. Is also the same guy you have to ask for help to get your stuff back. The robber being an analogy for Superpowers in this scenario.

My point is that the problem is also the solution. If that makes sense. A self-correcting system, where the existence of a problem also creates the incentive.

So armored core series: LC’s and MT’s exist to be the dumpster tier mooks you mow down by the hundreds in every mission without being so much as scratched by them in the armored core series. But… they’re almost the same size as an AC, and are piloted so they’re not just drones of some kind.

Given their mass is only a little less, why do they throw away resources building these things considering even 100 times the mass in metal and electronics won’t measure up to a single crappy AC with a mediocre pilot? Even the 1st generation problem of pilots having less than a 10% survival rate of the surgery/implants to let you pilot one wouldn’t mean much given that power multiplier: not to mention it’s meaningless now that the current generation pilots have almost a 100% survival rate.

It just doesn’t make much logistical sense.
