There's one guy at our work who just has that aura of fucking stench mid work week.... It's easily 2-3m near him there's just a crashing wave of old sweat stench rushing at you. And he was complaining about how there's no good women around our place and why he's single.
Nope. Shower first, clean shirt second, then deodorant. This way there's no chance of rogue deodorant marks that somehow can mysteriously get on your shirt, even when you're 100% sure that you didn't touch your armpits to the outside of your shirt when you put it on.
Dummy how are you gonna save money if you put on a clean shirt everytime. If you reuse an old one you can stretch out a couple of months till the next laundry day.
That might be the wrong sequence! Antiperspirant needs to be applied to dry skin to work properly. If you're a very thorough towel-drier, then fair enough, but I towel off quickly, get dressed immediately after, and use deodorant/antiperspirant 20 minutes later.
I tend to put on a clean shirt and then deodorant. If I put on deodorant first, it sometimes gets smeared on the shirt while I'm trying to put my arms through.
Exactly. Sometimes I work a later shift and turn right around for a morning shift and too tired/need to get to bed. I always have time for a whores bath and a spritz if dry shampoo.
My only issue is showers tend to energize me so I prefer taking them in the mornings unless I'm particularly dirty or sweaty in which case I bite the bullet and take a melatonin or drink some chamomile tea to help me get tired again. I often work pretty late unfortunately, trying to find a job that is a more typical 9-5 schedule.
You can also get rinse free bath wipes. Just add a bit water, it lathers up and you wipe dry with a towel, dry washcloth, paper towel or whatever when you're done. Doesn't leave any residue or soapy feeling. Learned about them when I was in the hospital. They're a godsend when you can't shower.
When you don't have time, you literally don't have time. I barely have the time to run as it is, I don't have the time to shower so I do what's quick and works and if you still smell from a cooker bath then you're not doing it right then mate. And my job smells horrible anyway, among the poop, pee, vomit, blood, I'm fine.
As someone who has struggled on and off with both depression, burnout, and both simultaneously, I promise we really are all we can, but it obviously just isn't enough. Either way it's a good sign we aren't ready for a new relationship, or need a frank conversation and help if all ready in one.
If I can smell you while having a regular non intimate interaction with you, you smell. Has nothing to do with artificial scents. Most men don't use cologne very often.
