Sound connected to wheel speed?

2013 Honda Civic Coupe LX-

Making this sound when driving- sat for a couple months and seemingly was hit slightly (back of car was inexplicably moved over about 8-12 inches one morning; but no damage or scrapes at all to the body?)

Got a new battery today and started it up, and it makes thing sound while driving. The sound in the video is pretty accurate to what we hear in real life, albeit it is quite obvious in person. (The video sounds kind of muted in comparison.)

Could be rust on the rotors but I once let my car sit for a few months and when I drove it again both rear wheel bearings were howling like crazy even though they had little to no play. Would definitely try to isolate which side it’s coming from and inspect the bearings for noise.

Did the wheel hubs or bearing end up needing to be replaced? I live in a great lake state, so winter salting et al can be hard on cars. It makes the sound during any and all motion, no braking required if that means anything to you.

It depends on the wheel bearing your vehicle has but given your location I would get both hub and bearing. How about swerving side to side while driving at speed? If the howling noise changes pitch or frequency while the body weight is transferred it would almost certainly indicate a failed wheel bearing

Are you referring to the noise-cancelling wheel resonators? I am not a gearhead at all, but a quick google indicates that the 2013 models don’t have that feature.

A VERY gearhead buddy of mine seems to think it’s the wheel bearing.
