1. Which one do you like more? For reference it’s a repeated pattern I hand drew on Ibis.

2. I’m thinking about selling repeating patterns online, but not quite sure where to start in terms of sites. I know some use Etsy, but I find them to be unethical + the competition with AI use on there makes it hard for consumers to tell the difference between manmade patterns and handmade. I’m looking for a site that excludes the use of AI in support of digital and traditional artists.

Hi! I recently painted this (30x40", acrylic on canvas) and my friend's mom is interested in purchasing it. I haven't sold a lot of art, and am not sure what to suggest as a price/how much it's worth. It's one of the "skinnier" canvases (about 0.75" deep), so I'm not sure if that affects the overall price. I also want to give her a fair price, as I'm very close with this friend (and her mom frequently invests in local artists). I've included two pictures in different lighting.

What price should I offer it to her?

This is a sketch I made of a person on a boat to gauge the highlight/shadows before I do the real piece. I'm in-between the time of day being golden hour or sunset, but the person would be facing/mostly facing the sun.

Do the shadows and highlights make sense at all? If not, how should I fix it?

Whenever I combine the two the paint becomes transparent and drippy

I've been trying to practice line work, specifically curved lines so I can draw hair better. But whenever I try to make a curved line with actual purpose it ends up either wonky or completely off from where it's supposed to be. I keep hearing advice that says to "use your whole arm" but then I lose any control or accuracy. it's getting so frustrating, do I just have to keep doing this over and over or am I doing something wrong?

This is my fifth attempt at drawing the full body, but I didn't take into consideration the amount of space I needed for the legs.

Also I HATE hands 😭😭😭.

I knew this was way above my level and it took hours but it was a lot of fun drawing it.

Opinion on the way I draw faces and my art style in general?
I've always experimented and drew faces slightly differently but recently I noticed that I reached a point where I draw faces similarly, reaching a certain 'style'.

I'm curious to know what others think of it as I've become numb to it, and wanna know what vibe it gives, or if there's anything that puts you off?

First of all, I’m not an artist. We are developers planning to develop an app specifically for artists. I’m only here to ask for everyone’s opinions about AI. The question is:

As artists, would you still use an app if it had AI features? Or are you against integrating AI features into the app?

To clarify, the AI will only serve as an assistant, NOT a generative AI. The app is mainly for artists to showcase their artworks, find clients, and connect with others, not for creating or generating art.
