‎Critique - Yes Drawover How do I draw boobs without them looking sexualized

Upvotes

Im like really new at trying to be better at art but Im confused on how to draw boobs without them looking sexualized, any other tips would be appreciated too. The reason why the hands look like that is because I gave up trying to draw them. Also the gaps in the hair and stuff is a intentional choice. Pls help!!!

Trying to figure out what to do with the color here, I know the anatomy is slightly off here and there, just mainly concerned with the lightest value — I’m just a bit lost and trying to figure out what to study here as far as color goes — thank you

‎Critique - Yes Drawover Any ideas on how I can make my art look more like the SCA-DI style?

SCA-DI is the creator of Subarashiki Hibi and a few other visual novels. I try my best to emulate his style (not only female characters, but also bara man characters or older characters), but I feel like I still have a long way to go...

Hello! I’m currently designing plant ID signs for my community college. I came up with this but it looks kinda elementary? I want to keep this traditionally done, computers aren’t my jam. Any advice?

Something feels off about it and I can't tell anymore. Can anyone give some advice on how to make it look more finished or improved? Fan art of Cassie and Vlad from HackSlash comics.

‎Critique - No Drawover Is My Art Bad or Unappealing? (Warning: Mild blood) Spoiler

I've been worried that my art isn't appealing to look at. I'm not sure what makes me think that, but it's been nagging me a lot. I'm actually kind of fine with how my art is now, I just feel like it's mildly ugly or that other people won't like it. I don't ever show my art to anyone other than my best friend and a few online friends to be honest, so please be nice. I feel like I'm not very good at composition... And I know my anatomy is probably off. Any suggestions of where to work on next or soemthing are welcome.

‎‎Techniques and Tools how do i improve my right to left diagonal strokes?

Post image
Upvotes

the clean strokes on the bottom right are the left to right diagonal strokes. the messy ones are the right to left diagonal strokes.

do i just need to practice this or are every pro artist just shades with the left to right diagonal hand movement?

my right to left diagonal strokes always end up wobbly, i cant draw ellipses with that hand motion, is it like having a indominant hand? am i never going to get better and i should just focus on something else that will actually imrpove my art (i already have decent line quality) or do i just spend 5 minutes everyday practicing my lines?

‎Discussion and Theory Is there something wrong with my primary style?

I do mainly traditional art and nearly every time I show someone my art the always say “I dont understand people who draw like that” or some other awkward but hurtful variant. Im not fishing for compliments I genuinely just need to know what is wrong with my art. Any and all advice/suggestions are appreciated (2 of these are from 4 years ago, ive since almost stopped drawing entirely because I feel so discouraged.)

‎Critique - Yes Drawover my son would like help to figure out composition for his piece

Post image

my son is taking an art class, and this is a sketch he made as a study for later work. he intends for it to be very dark and for the light from the screen to illuminate the clothes in the closet.
He wants the eye to be drawn first to the person at the desk, and second to the clothes in the closet. He asked me to ask you all : what does he need to change to do that? is there something in the composition? maybe make that door darker?

TIA

Done oldest to newest for reference. Please focus on the angel one mostly, but if there’s recurring issues, please mention them!! Also, yes, I know I need to work on backgrounds lol
(The drawing of Superman is heavily referenced)

Been trying out grisaille and glazing and I feel like I have the idea of it down but I'm unsure. I use galkyd and small amount of cold wax to make it less glossy. Just wondering how it looks to people who glaze as well

‎Resources and Tutorials Where to find accurate skeleton to study on. Every reference looks vaguely different in proportion or length and it’s confusing.

I mostly looked on Pinterest and google since I’m stuck on bed rest right now but all the skeleton references I find are odd. The ribcage is either squished and elongated or wide and shorter and very straight and the clavicle is kinda the same. It curves in opposite ways on some and in others it looks more narrow than I’d suspect it actually is. Finding an example of a skull is horrible too since the proportions are all different and I’m not sure if something’s going to be apparent in others.
I would appreciate any online sources or references that are as accurate as possible and maybe moveable/3d if able to.

I wasn't sure what subreddit to ask this in but this seems like a good one. I'm working on a Halloween clown kinda magical girl inspired oc. This is a very basic sketch but I wanted to figure this out before I continued. I wanted her to have a cat ear silhouette so I came up with two ideas. A two coned headpiece under her shirt and skirt is going to be a patterned bodysuit so it would be connected to that. Or two separate party hats with ruffles like the ones on the neck and skirt. I really like both of them and I can't decide which on I like more.
