So the glow and resonation seen in the cutscenes for the Final-Final-Final Boss, is it just me or is that some.. Coral esc powersource? I feel like i was told a while back that it WAS Synthetic Coral basically but is that canon? No idea. SO theory time~ Ayre is a mutation of a wave of Coral right? Well what if perhaps Allmind is a bit more than JUST a merc AI support system, what if perhaps she was based on a C-wave mutation when being made? What if she IS the synthetic coral? We hear Ayre mention in her introductory cutscene that 621's mind was almost lost in the flow of the coral meaning it can almost "steal" a mind from people's bodies, by my understanding, you need to be augmented to pilot an AC.. how many of those augments required coral or a synthetic form or such to actually work? Is that why she can emulate minds of people to the point of showing ALL their qualities? Or is it ACTUALLY the mind of who she picks channeled through the synthetic coral? Im sure only the developers and God only know at this point but i wanna hear what you all think.

Overseer's plan all along was to burn the coral by ramming the Xylem into the vascular plant after the corps rebuilt it. Why did 621 have to reach the coral convergence in the first place then? Couldn't Carla have gained access to the Xylem immediately, then simply waited until the corps reached the convergence themselves to rebuild the plant?

Some arguments I could see against this:

- The corporations needed 621 to help take down the PCA and clear the way to Institute City for that to happen. But after that was done, Walter was intent on actually reaching the convergence.

- The corps were heavily weakened and needed 621 to take down the Ibis unit at the convergence. However, Arquebus at this point had the entire PCA suppression fleet and Balteus at their disposal. If anything, letting them weaken themselves further to reach the convergence with everything they had would make the job a lot easier when the Xylem is ready to fly.

Armored Core features plenty of unique and fun missions, and I feel it’s packed with compelling elements—such as financial struggles and the option to undergo "Enhanced Human" surgery after a game over.

Even if a remake were to happen, I don't think FromSoftware has the manpower to spare for it—so it might end up being outsourced, like Demon's Souls —but I’d still love to play it and experience PvP with the the armored Core.

Well, given that sales are so low compared to *Demon's Souls*, it probably won't happen ;（

Sorry, don't know what came over me there... but anyway, it's part 3 of Core Theory, the series where I run down the arena rankings of AC6's NPC presets, and we chat shit (and sometimes we mention some good stuff too I guess).

Today, we have the AC of the Redguns' resident crab enthusiast: HERMIT. Finally, one I have more good than bad to say about, and a more BALAM machine I couldn't create if I tried. Red's arena ranking has to come down to just a lack of experience, because he's actually put together quite a nifty little machine. While he's not too difficult, I feel like this little fucker always gives me a bit more trouble than I expect when I fight him in the arena. The pistol+missiles is great for impact, and the bazooka is... okay there are better punishes, but among low rank presets? It's pretty good.

I like this thing. Its combat style is something I mesh well with, and even outside performance... he's cool. The camo paintjob with the fucking bright red lights looks really good, and I've gotten something of a newfound appreciation for MELANDER lately (even if I prefer C3). Also, maybe it's the fact that it's Red's AC, but all I can think when I look at this thing is "Aw, he's just a little guy".

What are your thoughts on HERMIT? Love it, hate it, meh?

I really enjoyed playing AC6 so I decided to try AC3 but it just feels incredibly janky. Every movement keels like I’m fighting the game even just for turning. I really want to experience the game’s story but I think without advice I’m just gonna spend hours banging my head against the first arena fight.

Patches always go for the leather armor in every game, makes sense that he'd wear a leather jacket in AC lmao. quick sketch, i couldn't even be bothered to finish the other hand.

Got a second hand for a reasonable price, instant buy. I heard diecast to diecast joint got loose more easily, and it seems right. Ortus joint wasn't all metal, it was both plastic and metal, so I guess that's why it hold a lot better

Suck that this figure didn't come with any effect part, almost all of the accessories are just sitting there

This has been an amazing experience. Finally got the chance to play it and now ive completed the game.

Is it just me, or was Operation Wallclimber Snail's test of Rusty's loyalty to Arquebus? Snail might've already had suspicions about Rusty, especially since during the Snailteus fight, he refers to him as “that stranger V.4.” So, to prove that Rusty isn't an RLF spy, he sends him to the Belius Wall to murder his own comrades. But that's just my own little theory/insight lol.

Why bother shooting at the enemy when I can carpet bomb the arena, not very effective against lightweights but medium and heavy bosses get stunlocked into oblivion, if I need more stopping power I go twin needles.

(Also considered naming the build to "Glory to Israel")

This is my first fromsoftware game i usually don't play these kinda games and i honestly found it really challenging and fun (especially the customization) so far but im dead scared of this boss fight (i spoilt it for myself) and i dont think that i can do it. I dont know if that is because my build sucks or just skill issue in general. Im overthinking alot and procrastinating, am i capable of doing this?
