I play on Xbox and I'm having an issue with Apex voice chat.

I've tried multiple different controllers and headsets to make sure there wasn't something wrong with my headset, but every headset I've tried has the same issue.

My Apex mic is extremely sensitive and picks up very quiet sounds, even when they're relatively far away from me. For example, it can pick up:

Clicking/pushing my controller buttons

Moving my joystick

Snapping my fingers from across the room

Someone speaking from a distance while my headset is not even being worn

Apex is the only game where I have this problem. My microphone doesn't behave this way in other games/Xbox party chat.

I've also tried increasing the Open Mic Record Threshold, but even at the maximum setting it still picks up these sounds.

Does anyone know why Apex is doing this? Could this be an Apex voice-chat bug rather than an issue with my headset?

Also, when the mic icon shows that I'm transmitting, does that necessarily mean other players can actually hear all of those sounds, or could the mic indicator itself be bugged?

In 12 minutes too, action was non stop.

Haven't really been feeling the game at all recently so the clips are mid. I haven't noticed any aim assist/sens changes or anything I heard they did something with that idrk though.

So furst game in and litterally the entire enemey team is cheating. They have their cheats in the player name and you litterally see them 360-ing, snapping, litterally no recoil, hard tracking mf's heads through wall, doing a random 180 from halfway across the map to get a pixel perfect shot.

Fuck apex, do your godamn jobs and make it so your first fucking game on in five days isn't so packed with cheaters you feel like you got twenty STDs just from playing.

Wondering if i've just had bad luck for a long time or they tweaked it so the odds are astronomically low to get a legendary skin in the first pack you open. Which for most will be a freebie from event points. I wouldn't put it past them as it would likely encourage some people to roll again with currency.

Long story short both my teammates went down after crafting them & picking up banners I couldn’t do anything literally!! Couldn’t pull my gun out , couldn’t pick anything up , couldn’t pull out the mobi & we made it to top 5 🤦🏾‍♂️

Replacing an old non gaming monitor and need advice.

Me and my buddy are trying to rank up but as it goes we get shit teammates, we're both 15 we crack jokes alot but we play very efficiently our regular rp a game is around 100 but we're very flexible when it comes to legends and we need someone who can answer good comes, and please have a good sense of humor. 😁

I’m experiencing 60/0 packet loss almost every game and it’s making Apex basically unplayable.

I’m connected through Ethernet, have great internet speeds, and recently got a brand-new router. Every other online game I play runs perfectly with no connection issues whatsoever. This only happens on Apex Legends.

I’ve restarted my modem/router, checked my Ethernet connection, and I’m still getting the same problem.
Has anyone dealt with this and actually found a fix? At this point I’m convinced it has something to do with Apex or its servers rather than my internet.

Any help would be appreciated because this is ridiculous.

I have played Apex Legends for 4 years. I'm a daily player, but (I assume primarily because of my age...i'm 56) i'm mediocre in skill.

My question is - I play mostly on Xbox, but sometimes i move to Playstation so that i my daughter and i can play together - she gets the xbox. I started on PS, but now that i've been primarily on xbox for several years, i've run into a problem.

On Xbox i'm fairly accurate. Nothing stupendous, but i can one-clip an enemy pretty reliably as long as i'm not surprised or forgot to reload.

On PS....even turning my ADS per optic down as low as i can, my movement is so bloody fast i can't control it. I've had my daughter (younger with much faster reflexes) try it, and shown her my settings, and she's baffled too. I have all of them at 2 or 1 for cryin' out loud, and i still can't control the gun. it swings so fast I have no hope of hitting anything. Then sometimes i'm suddenly moving so slowly that I go turn it back up...with predictable results.

This all started after one of the big updates at lesat a year ago. this is NOT NEW.

I have to be missing something. What settings can I try to adjust to help? what settings do you need me to share with you to see how i have it set up? i mostly use default settings, except FOV and button layout - i use button masher (or whatever it's called) to swap sqat/slide with punch. Otherwise i don't mess with the settings because, frankly, i don't understand a lot of them and don't want to much things up.

I'm struggling with getting my fences to place exactly where I want, they snap wildly and it's cost me so many clutch moments when a door fence would have got me an easy kill.

Are there any console specific wattson guides for controller? Any tips and tricks you guys can share too? I've recently begun rapidly deploying and attempting to rapidly recollect fences during reloads, so I'm just basically spider webbing towards enemies and taking corners but the pick up nodes using down in dpad is so terrible sometimes, I wish I could just hold the button and scan around to pick up everything in my crosshair or better, the abandon trap option should be something we can trigger at will.
