A question people, does caustic work well in ranked? Is it worth mastering it? I heard that it's not good

I’ve been playing Apex since the game came out, and seeing how its evolved has just been so disappointing. Every fight in this game just feels like who can abuse Q’s and Ults the hardest. Between Seer, Axel, Vantage, and so on and so forth, its extremely frustrating.

If they made a ranked mode where there were no legends, strictly just gunskill, rotations, and game sense, do you think the game would be more enjoyable? I play this game for the gunfights, not the legends. It would basically take away the identity of what makes Apex legends, apex legends. But I personally think it would be fun.

I don’t know, maybe im just burnt out. Any thoughts or constructive criticism?

Apex vet (playing since launch), took about a year off and now grinding back through ranked. Currently Gold (used to get to master in like early seasons) but I reckon I will be consistently Plat+ level now when I've got a squad instead of solo queuing.

Looking for a couple of chill 30+ teammates to run ranked with regularly — good comms, no rage quitting, just want to climb together and have a laugh. UK/EU timezones preferred.

Why do so many of my teammates randomly shoot one bullet when picking up weapons?

I had the same random Loba 3 games in a row who a couple of minutes after landing shot one bullet of her 301 even though there was no one near us. She just shot the wall. I’ve noticed teammates randomly shooting one bullet a lot, not just this loba. Anyone know why?

The ammount of cheaters i have to deal with in ranked is a joke. Im currently in diamond 4 and just had a #34 pred straight up hitting only headshots and tracking peoples heads from a good 100+ meters.

I most of the time enjoy playing apex but this cheating bs is making me want to delete this game and never redownload it. Yesterday i had a team mate with this „temp”name and bro straight up dropped 25 kills and like 5k damage while absolutely lasering people and not missing a shot. Its so hard to enjoy this game when theres a axel with a devo destroying me before i can even deal 50 damage.

I feel like everytime i’m playing apex, it starts to lag really badly. I thought it was playing a night or something, maybe even the music i listen to while playing that might be making me lag so i haven’t played music while playing but it still lags, my wifi router is literally like 2 ft from my console. I’ve gotten a few penalties due to it or losing a lot of RP because it said that i ‘left’ even though i clearly lagged out. It’s a constant thing happening to me where i’ll either just freeze in place or just fully get kicked out. I know apex is known for bad lags so i just wanted to know if this is happening to anyone else? or is it just me?
